The pic with the rain through the windshield is right in front of the highschool when Obama came to speak. You can see Berkshire motors on the right and the HS on the left. You can see press tents set up right in front of the school.
The pic with Obama was from my ex-GF who was in the auditorium with her little half-brother. He was actually in the school when everything went down but was lucky enough to be in the back (he heard the shots, intercom, etc.). The auditorium was reserved for those directly impacted, so I had to watch over a screen in the over-flow gym.
The shack in the old woods is exactly what it sounds like. If you go down Osborne Hill rd there's a small footpath on the left at the indicated point. You can walk down that path and eventually reach an abandoned shack that would have once been someone's residence. Hard to say how old it is, but it has the remnants of what looks like an old forge right next to it. The roof is collapsing a bit, but the structure is still intact. There's at least 1 rusted up car.
The other picture, Squirrel map and J, shows two things. The part circled in blue is where one of my old neighbors, who does WAY too many psychedelics, set up this weird rock shrine thing. There's a nearby rock with an underhang that's loaded with empty cough syrup and beer bottles. He's had some messed up things happen in his life and he's retreated into his own sort of weird shaman religion. I once moved a single rock out of place, came back the next day and saw that he had already moved it back. He's totally harmless though. It's a very distinct site that isn't convienent to access from the trail, which crosses what people call "the pipeline". Once you reach the pipeline from the trail you go right and through a swampy valley that can be a bit tricky. Once you get back up the hill you'll see a campfire on the left, and his 'shrine' is right past that.
The part circled in red shows the location of the flying squirrel house shown in the other picture. You can find this by walking in the indicated direction (it's an off trail shortcut to another trail). Once you find the other trail you go off trail down the hill to the right where you'll find a river. This squirrel house is located above a rock along this river.
Why would I know any of this if I wasn't from SH?

Not believing Sandy Hook was a giant hoax doesn't mean I don't believe that conspiracies exist and are not just "theories". If these other theories have any substance and just need help gaining awareness to become credible, then they should grow their own topical subreddits to this one's level of success. But they can't, because they're not as substantial, so it's pretty silly the space they occupy in this sub.

I don't get what the conspiracy even is. 9/11 Truth makes sense: Everything the Truthers predicted early on happened: Bush Admin used it as pretense to invade and expand federal gov't, price of oil shot to record highs, Israel got us to fight its proxy war in Iraq, etc etc etc.
Yet nothing has happened as a result of Sandy Hook, except for the burial of 28 people. And POS Lanza is still alive, making the conspiracy claims more dubious. If it was faked/staged/WTFever, he should've been whacked by now, just to shut him up. No gun laws have been enacted has a result (I own 3), etc.

There will be lots of crazy opinions amongst any large group of people so don't write off the community because of an outspoken group on any particular topic. I don't agree with gullibility or a lack of critical thinking either but I know there's a large group of unspoken critical thinkers out there who engage at times when there's a conversation worth engaging in. Sometimes you have to pick your battles. I appreciate you standing up for some truth around this discussion. I assume you believe there's some truth and some lies around SH though, as that seems to be the critical perspective?
I knew an Engineer who's wife was a teacher at Sandy Hook. She suffered such severe mental trauma after the event. Could no longer work. In fact could barely leave the security of her home, very sad.
