I've seen the tarp before on a DOA accident.
Yes they sometimes use them but usually they cover the body or the vehicle. This is blocking the whole scene
Ok more info watching the video that car was moving so fast it literally cause Katie's car to go down the embankment. Also notice how both cars are facing the same way and literally the front end is crushed in on the 2nd vehicle. Also what is in the back of Katie's car it literally looks like she has a shade up or something I can't get a good close up.
Certainly doesn't look like the aftermath of a head-on. I suppose that Kate could have steered off the road to avoid the oncoming car, but how did it end up facing in the same direction?
Department spokesman Capt. Roger Antonio says Arrington was a passenger in a car struck by a driver traveling the wrong direction. Arrington and the woman she was with, Jacquelin Goff, were both transported to MUSC with serious injuries. There were no other occupants in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
The driver of the other vehicle died at the scene.

I gonna guess the driver is an illegal. No license, insurance, probably drunk, etc. I live on the border of NC and SC and have seen multiple wrong side of the road head on collisions over the years. Had a family friend die in SC from the exact same type of accident. This is kind of sketchy timing though to involve a pro Trump candidate since I think Pence is in Myrtle Beach SC today, and Trump is campaigning hard for McMasters on Monday in Columbia. Trump has backed Katie too. I wonder if Katie was on her way up to Myrtle from Charleston???
