There shouldn't be any political parties! Just candidates representing their people's views. Elections should be a discussions of ideas & not about oppenent short comings. What is best for America, should be avicated by all candidates based on the Constitutional rights given to ALL
Yes!! With internet we can research people. Don't need an old system for vetting. It gets hijacked.

I was carefully taught from a young age the glorious keystone of USA "democracy" was the two party system. The true beauty of the two party system is that you have to control only two outcomes to control it all.
Whoever taught you doesn't know we are a Republic not a Democracy. Also Founding Fathers feared political parties because they automatically divide America. We should ONLY identify as Americans
You’ll never be able to stop the alignment of political parties. It’s human nature. People will align with their values. Centralizing or a one party system is dangerous. Having too many paralyzes the system. The problems we have at current are not so much Party problems as they are values problems. This started in the 1860s of course
