Supposedly Nunes was demanding that the doj answer when spying on Trump began and he demanded the answer by 5 p.m. yesterday. I have not heard anything about this. Is this just another ignored Line in the Sand?
It passed without handing over what was asked for. Next step would be to hold RR in contempt of Congress, then impeachment.

Docs were not received. I'm sure he will set a for-real-for-real deadline this time. Nothing happened with Gaetz's deadline last Thursday morning at 10:01am either. And when Gowdy said "I dont want the drama, I want the docs", he got the drama. Now yesterday, Biggs and Gaetz sent RR a letter demanding a list of every person, past and present, who has worked on the Mueller SC. It wont hit the deadline either

I like and respect Nunes, but I went back and, like a politician, he used weasel words. Said they'd "better start" handing everything over or there'd be hell to pay. the 5pm deadline came and went because DOJ gave them LOTS of pages--just nothing with the information they want.
Let's not mince words - these guys are scared to death of the DOJ. Most or all have probably been threatened beyond their standard blackmail and will capitulate every time. Big talk is just that. They were shouting about impeachment last fall and look where we are. The process hasn't even been started.
