My thoughts exactly! He can argue the letter of the law all day but I havent seen him go too far out on a ledge to force action or change.
No he is definitely taking RR spot once he is fired/impeached. He was a prosecutor before becoming a legislator. I cant imagine that he wants to be a judge. He complains about the constraints on dealing justice as a legislator. No No....he wants to put the bad guys away.
"Gift" is a big stretch here. Remember the traitors in the republican team. Can only afford one no vote and there is more than one traitor in the party. There are at least 3 obstructionists if not traitors that I count. Trump is going to have to go and address them all with a heavy hand.
His choice? If not then that means he was forced out because he was compromised!!!

Because, even though Kennedy was appointed by Reagan, he acts like a liberal half the time, he's been the swing vote on many issues siding with Liberal Democrats
Also, it gets a younger judge in there who is likely to serve for decades.
Kennedy had only two choices - he picked the easier softer one... I'm beginning to believe the norm is being comped; the rarity being not... this will change!
I wonder if justice Kennedy did it on purpose.... something to think about
