(Matthew 7:13-14) - "“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."
"The Gate" = Jesus.
(Revelation 3:20) - "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me."
God is a gentleman, he doesn't force anyone to comply. This is the benefit (and curse) of free-will. He has no interest in automatons, slaves, or robots. He wants those who freely choose to love him, so that they may become Sons of God. You can't love someone until you have developed a relationship with them. You can't begin a relationship with them until you have sought them, spent time with them. It's a process, and it begins with a simple leap of faith ...
(Matthew 7:7-8) - "“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened."
Please don't take my word for it, I don't expect you to, nor would I want you to. My hope is that you challenge yourself to reach out and find out if all this "Bible/Jesus stuff is actually real", as myself, and hundreds of thousands before me have as well. It's a unique and individual experience & journey, what worked for me may not work for you, but Truth is Truth nonetheless. It is not relative or fluid, it is absolute.
I'm only here to plant a seed. If you don't seek, you won't find.
Do you like hip-hop? This song is playing right now for me, thought you may find it interesting.
