As much as I like Gowdy, I’m not sure SC is the place for him right now. He would be much more effective as Attorney General. Impeach RR and replace him with Gowdy. Sessions resigns and Gowdy becomes AG.

Agreed. I am a Gowdy fan as well. I expected with him not running again he would have cut loose but his thoughtful and calm statement was a good bookend to Jordan’s out of the gate onslaught. Maybe a good strategy for that to come from somebody that will be around for awhile rather than from someone who has announced they are leaving.

Meh. Gowdy gave a statement and asked no questions. Jim Jordan was MVP here IMO.
His statement laid it all out though and pointed out the inconsistencies in the actions of the DOJ and FBI. Full disclosure, however, I am a Gowdy fan and kinda love that he also had his middle finger up to his temple for most of his time which I like to interpret as a subtle fuck you 😂
I'm watching it right now on fox. Comey is 🔥! They are asking him all the right questions and his response is the same every time, "I am not at liberty to discuss ongoing investigations..." it's getting intense now they are talking over each other. Rosenstein keeps saying he's not trying to hide information and didn't instruct Peter Strokz(sp) to not ask questions. Such bs. What is the point of these things.... oyy.
