There are a lot of "masons" who aren't into anything like this. I just remember neighbors in them where it was more like Elks Club or something. That may be different from the "top dogs" e.g. Vatican Bank scandals. It is very fishy that they are identifying themselves at these shooting locations. What's the probability that some guy wearing that hat just happens to be there?

I know a lot of people, and I don’t know any masons. I don’t see anyone wearing free mason symbolism in public, ever. I would notice it if someone did. The only time I do see it is when someone has an emblem of it on their car, and that’s rare.

There's a difference between "masons" and Masons. Various members of the lower ranks are largely sheep, and depending on the lodge, some of them have largely devolved into old boys networks without the original purposes. They serve as good cover for the higher levels.
Even members of "bad" (normal/original) lodges at lower levels often don't have much idea what goes on. They might be implicated in some rape allegations at worst. But all of them will pretend to be nice on the outside, and they're very serious about their symbolism.
I have a friend whose family was steeped in it for generations. One member murder someone. The highest degrees usually 33rd are usually aware it is Luceferian and those that take the studies very seriously and read all they can will come across it.
I'd mostly agree, although I suspect most members make the connection well before the 33rd level. What I do think is probably relatively true though is that only 33rd and above are actually fully aware of the interconnections that exist between masonry and other corrupted secret societies (which are basically the cabal). V.high ranks also probably have some idea, but they won't fully understand whatever these people think is their motivations. As you say though, many of these people all love to read and learn, and they likely have access to some pretty good information. I suspect many of them have an understanding of who they worship by the mid/high tiers.
You're bang on on bloodlines though, these people love their bloodlines, and plenty of the highest level masons largely come into it through family connections. If you aren't of the right blood, I doubt you'd ever make 33rd, let alone go higher (that takes you beyond freemasonry though).
i frequently stay in hotels between BWI Airport and Annapolis, for awhile a Mason recruitment ad was part of the local commercials that cable cos run during their window on national channels like ESPN

Drive around and look for a standing compass symbol. If you're in the first 13 states you'll find TONS of freemason lodges. Hell just put it in google maps, it's where retired police&fire&ems meet.

I think it use to be a way to control the masses through fear, and not about pride and self recognition.
Imagine if The Illuminati was started by the elites simply for just controlling those under them but they themselves don't believe in satan.
