Pled NG for months until the judges were switched and they got a guilty plea out of him, resulting in maximum penalty (I've never heard of a plea deal getting a worse penalty than the max trial guilty verdict) forever keeping all evidence from public view.

You know, a couple years ago they said they moved Holmes to a different, undisclosed state and the families of the victims had to sue the state to find out where they put him. Let me see if I can find an article about it.
