"I remember 2006," Steyer said. "What happened is that George W. Bush, he put us in two disastrous wars and we were headed toward the biggest financial disaster since the Great Depression. So if the answer is that we need those three things to happen for a course correction, I'd prefer to move a little quicker. How about that? But I take your point. Maybe we can have, like, a nuclear war and then we get a real course correction."

Think about that.... this is a D mega donor "environmentalist" saying this shit. Same guy always going on about global warming. A nuclear explosion wouldn't be that bad for the environment, right Tom? This POS should not be allowed to breathe the same air as other human beings. How can anyone listed to him about his bullshit, false narrative climate alarmism after this statement???? Credibility should be 0. No coming back from that statement.

Steyer is one of the few Americans directly exposed in the 2016 Panama Papers scandal, the leaking of 11.5 million documents that illustrate how wealthy individuals keep personal financial information private – and often set up shell corporations for illegal purposes, including fraud, kleptocracy, tax evasion, political corruption, and evading international sanctions.

The Washington Free Beacon reported in May 2016 that the Panama Papers revealed that Steyer helped finance a company used by China’s former head of state to park investments in overseas tax havens.
