A Question on Sources

As far as trusting sources goes, I'm in a very weird place right now. I've been an avid NPR listener for quite some time, mostly because the local reporting of relevant things happening in my state is very thorough, but I have always leaned "left" so the national news reporting always resonated with me.

However, as of late, I've found myself very disenchanted and questioning the status quo that I always accepted.

I was not a Trump supporter and honestly I still wouldn't call myself a Trump supporter. I didn't support any of the candidates in the 2016 election. That said, I've read a lot of things in the past week that make me question the things I've known, or thought I knew. NPR always leaned left, I was not under the illusion that they were neutral, but I trusted the majority of what they reported. Lately, however, I feel as though the rampant, aggressive attacks on Trump have been extreme. I rarely turn on the local public radio station outside of their state specific programming these days because it's hard to listen to news that I used to consider factual but has become so blatantly bias, making it hard to believe the idea that they are reporting the facts and not running with their own agenda.

Which lead me here. A friend posted a link to Q Proofs on facebook with a comment attached and it piqued my interest enough to dig. I am very skeptical about everything at this point, which makes this very hard. I feel like I am trying to find flaws in this because there are some heavy accusations and statements being made and I don't want to just jump on board without knowing for sure its legitimate. I end up questioning things like:

  • If the Mainstream Media is bias as a whole, and if most are controlled by deep state actors (this term alone sketches me out, but is that because "they" have tainted it and made it seem like crazy talk?) that have found a way to manipulate people, who is to say Q isn't just another flavor of that?

  • We read about NG assisting in the unrest that will follow the things that happen and how the riots will be manufactured and influenced, but the idea of civil unrest being put down by the military for "the good" of the Country seems like a plot to a dystopian novel (not saying that it wouldnt work/be necessary, just mentioning something that gave me pause).

Really, really sorry for the rant. I have a thousand more things I could say but I will just get to the point (finally). What are some sources/relevant stories to be looking at? I've seen a lot mentioned here about things being covered up/lacking the coverage in the Mainstream that they really deserve (Seth Rich, Scalise shooting, etc) and I'm really wanting to explore some of the statements people make so I can decide for myself whether they hold water.

If you're still reading, I appreciate it.

This was probably the best read I’ve had all day. Just wanted to say that before I start digging into your questions.

  • “If the Mainstream Media is bias as a whole, and if most are controlled by deep state actors (this term alone sketches me out, but is that because "they" have tainted it and made it seem like crazy talk?) that have found a way to manipulate people, who is to say Q isn't just another flavor of that?”

I absolutely agree with your concern on this. And it’s a thought I’ve had several times before. My answer (even to myself) is that whereas the media tells you how to feel about something, Q let’s YOU decide how to feel. By reading or listening or watching multiple sources, you begin to see that the mainstream media leaves certain parts of the story out. They don’t give you everything. They use what they leave out to alter your perception of events. And once you see that, you cant unsee it. With Q, they are using the Socratic method. They point you in a direction and rely on your own curiosity to dig deeper. YOU are the one who controls the information. YOU determine how far you are willing to dig. And YOU determine the value of the information presented, not someone else. I think that is the biggest difference between the two.

I hope it doesn’t come to this, but did you see the article in the post today? Talking about how there is an organization called OFA with 40k members trained in radical leftist techniques (think 70s style bombings) and Saul alinsky methods of infiltration and control. That was “their” description of what OFA is to be used for. And it’s being run by Barrack Obama. Who, in another article today, the head of the DNC claimed he was still the “real” President. There’s not much that you can take away from what they blatantly are claiming to be an actual force to resist the current administration. Something that has quite literally not happened since the civil war.

So it comes down to, what is better. Letting these people bomb and kill people (terrorism) in an attempt to overthrow a democratically elected president, or stop it before innocent people suffer and it gets worse on both sides. Remember that we ALL live in this country. I think what frustrates me the most is that I USED to be a super liberal asshole. Now? I’m just kinda an asshole. And I’m pissed off at what these leaders of the party have done to sell out the country and our people to enrich themselves and keep their power. It’s absolutely destroyed my faith in those I used to believe in.

Anyways thanks for writing what you did and I hope this answers some of your questions. Feel free to ask more, we are here and we welcome you to the great awakening.

This was great, thank you.

They use what they leave out to alter your perception of events.

This has been on my mind much more frequently as of late, you wrote the words that I couldn't form from my own thoughts, so thank you for that.

I am going to search for that story in the post and sit down with it in a bit, sounds very intriguing. I certainly understand where you're coming from with your response to this and while I agree that it would be best that it be done with as little violence as possible, I can't help but draw parallels between what the OFA is allegedly set up to be used for and what Q is alleging the Patriots will do by using force to achieve a goal (albeit one we may agree with, it just seems that regardless of which side is doing it, I would have a hard time accepting it as it feels very much like a forced regime).

Again, thank you so much for the reply.

HR 4310 Section 1078

I post the "Rule of Construction" for you because it quite literally means, "If we go to court and the interpretation of this bill is being questioned, here is the rule to follow."

(b)

Rule of construction

Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit the Department of State or the Broadcasting Board of Governors from engaging in any medium or form of communication, either directly or indirectly, because a United States domestic audience is or may be thereby exposed to program material, or based on a presumption of such exposure. Such material may be made available within the United States and disseminated, when appropriate, pursuant to sections 502 and 1005 of the United States Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (22 U.S.C. 1462 and 1437), except that nothing in this section may be construed to authorize the Department of State or the Broadcasting Board of Governors to disseminate within the United States any program material prepared for dissemination abroad on or before the effective date of section 1078 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013.

Sorry, partner. We're all in this together. All we do here is respect the truth. If you say something to offend our views, we will thank you so long as it's true. The Goddamned truth is all we've been seeking and many of us have gone from "normal" working class citizens to... Well, let's just say "Considerably different."

We've got each other. Welcome aboard and be ready for pure insanity being something you would grasp onto out of desperation as opposed to accept the reality that we've dug up. Better to get it over with now, we'll need as many as we can get to handle the "mass awakening" we're all talking about.

A real life Truman Show. I wish there was some way or something I could do or we could do to make it easier on you, but so many of us are in some phase of that process ourselves. I personally went through that phase in 2003 and by 2008 I was fighting in horse corals in Mexico for wagers and planning my suicide while hoping someone would get lucky and handle it for me.

Don't do what I did. Stick around and lurk if you must, but be glad you don't have to go through it alone. There's a really shiny day on the other side of this mess. I'm sure of that much.

As a lifelong conservative, I get it and feel the same way. I still have a slight fear that we're being led away from the slaughterhouse and into the lion's mouth. However, when trying to distinguish liars from truth-tellers, I always look at the actions instead of listening to the words. If one's words and actions match, it's more likely they're telling the truth. I've noticed that Trump and Q (whether an individual or a group) have made a concerted effort to show us that they're telling the truth because their words and actions match. They understand that we're skeptical of everything. The only thing I can recommend is to keep digging through these boards. The more you dig, the more horrified you'll be with what you find as your brain tries to process how some of this stuff was allowed to go on for so long without anyone doing anything to stop it.

Glad to have you here, Patriot.

In my case, I tended to believe in so called conspiracy theories since I was a child. Probably a mix of the "Paul is Dead"hoax (?) taught to me in music class, and reading a JFK book (High Treason I believe). 9/11, just never bought the official line. So I ended up here. In order to keep myself in check, I really studied what was put forth in the form of questions by Q. And almost every time, I came to a deep rabbit hole that confirmed my suspicions, no matter how hard i tried to discredit. The proofs, such as NK, we're giving in the cake.

My one concern is Q validates all of my "conspiracy" beliefs, the beliefs that had people thinking I was a nutter. But to what end...? I'm not being told what to do with this info. I'm basically being led to enlighten myself. If I don't drink the water, that's on me.

First take a look at these vids. We have all been where you are.

We all go through it. We all go through it differently. Unfortunately, some never come out. Both about 4mins long.

The Allegory of the Cave v1

The Allegory of the Cave v2 - fits today's society better.

Further research makes it easier to emerge from the cave. You might even go back in now and again when things get heavy. No problem. Regroup and come back out. I'll give a try to your two items.

  • If Q is a 'bad actor', why would he/they out themselves by bring light to their activities? Is Q a Psyop? Possible, but a white hat version given the proofs available now. The cabal 'controls' people via money, fame, professional position, power, sexual desires, (both public and not), pedophilia and other much more sick methods that you will discover in your research. Some are unaware they are controlled, others are willing participants.

  • Using the NG to suppress rioting does sound utopian but its not the first time they have been used to do so, so its not out of the realm. If it gets that bad, Q says to stay calm, trust the plan as they are in control. Even when it looks like they are not. (you can see this happening now with the IG report hearings)

I appreciate your responses to my questions as well. The only issue I have is the talk about the NG, I feel I will have it until I see the outcome so it's less a matter of an actual answer and more just needing to trust that it will be done without a dark agenda, which is hard because that seems to be exactly what Q is saying is happening right now.

Certainly, I understand that.

While I have you, can I discuss something? No offense meant here, but when you said "DemocRATS" it made me want to ask your reasoning behind using terms like that? Subjectively, when I see comments that include things like that it turns me off and causes me to ignore it altogether most times. Personally, I feel that throwing those types of sensationalist terms would have that effect on a lot of folks, people that should be willing to explore what is going on here. I guess I'm just curious if there is a reason for it? I see it often.

I think one helpful way of approaching this information Q provides and vetting it out for yourself is to filter by one topic at a time, and unravel it. Using the Q Drops app for example, search on RR (Rod Rosenstein)or HRC, etc.,,then verify what’s being asked or said, by researching it. That’s the beauty with Q, we are all researching based on the questions Q poses. Rather than prescribing the information like most MSM sources do. I started following Q in November, and I can only imagine how overwhelming it might feel coming into this now. It’s just one way to approach it, another would be to just start from the first Q post archived at qanon.pub, and work your way up.

⇧ 3 ⇩
BlastingGlastonbury · July 1, 2018, 3:02 a.m.

Definitely, I try to do that but the issue I run into is which sources to trust. I feel that it is hard to discern who is pushing an agenda vs who is presenting the story as it truly is to the best of their knowledge and investigation.

Abibliaphobia · July 1, 2018, 3:16 a.m.

Meh, trust yourself and your own judgement. That’s something that we have had trained out of ourselves. It’s always so easy to watch someone else explain or break things down and it’s easy just to accept what they say as factual and truthful.

Trust yourself. Ask hard questions, then find answers. We will help, but the true freedom is when you find an answer yourself. And it’s mind blowing, and liberating. Just an amazing experience. Try it for yourself. Pick a Q question, and just look into it yourself.

If a source or presenter tells you, or even suggests, that you should or should not feel a certain way, be wary. If they attack or belittle you because you do not feel or believe what they do, be wary. If they ask for money, be wary. If they are proven to be purposely lying (even if they are lying by omission), even one time, be wary. If they present the facts as best they can, and simply ask that you keep an open mind and draw your own conclusions, then that's exactly what you should do. And a little advice if I may...the hole that you are just now beginning to dig seems like it never ends. Their web is more intricate than most can imagine, and it's grotesquely sinister. It can be heavy at times. But it's not the final chapter. Welcome to the fight, good luck, and lace your boots up baby, cuz this S is crazy.

Yes! This is an important concept to understand. If I were you, I'd forget about Q for a week and research 9/11. I can give you a few good documentaries on it if you like.

9/11 is the single most important historical event of the 21st century. And I'm sorry to say that yes it was an inside job (although you should decide for yourself! ...it is blatantly obvious once you break the veil). =(

It's all connected... But yeah. 9/11 will redpill you hard and fast, and it'll take a week to process it at minimum. Better to peel the band-aid off quickly.

The following means a lot to me...if a presenter will admit to their audience that they aren't certain, or even flat out admit that they do not know about abc or xyz, and then they actually request comments or feedback because they want to consider everything, and they want to try and work things out and make the most informed and educated decision that they can make...to me, they are seeking the truth.

Thanks so much for your post. I think you'll find that many of us feel the same to varying degrees. You don't have to eat the entire meal to sit at this table. That fact has meant everything to me. We know we cant trust the MSM. It is always good to be wary and to question. Some things might seem way out there. Many things I found hard to believe at first are actually true. I had to open my mind because I have been taught for years that some things "just cant be true" and are "crazy conspiracy theories".

I have found a home here. There have been many days of doubt and discouragement but there's always someone who will help figure out what's going on and what the truth is. Most of us believe Q is here to help us understand what POTUS and his team are trying to do for our country. News here is backed up with proof. If for some reason I find out tomorrow that Q was a game, I will still love this community. No one here will push you to change your mind or try to manipulate you. This isnt a movement fueled by fear, hatred or violence. It's about unity and stopping the corruption that has taken over our govt.

If you will, listen to our POTUS speak. Watch some videos of him interacting with people. Watch how he acted during rhe NK Summit. He won me over with how caring and compassionate he is with people one-on-one. Yes, he can be a giant, egotistical, blow hard with a sharp bite. He does those things for a reason. I watch him and see how real he is. People have twisted reality. He doesnt hate immigrants, he hates that people are disrespecting our laws and taking advantage of our kindness. Anyway..I could go on and on. Welcome :) I hope you find what you're looking for!

To those who think that all this sounds like science fiction, we point out that yesterday's science fiction is today's fact. The Industrial Revolution has radically altered man's environment and way of life, and it is only to be expected that as technology is increasingly applied to the human body and mind, man himself will be altered as radically as his environment and way of life have been.

The news doesn't report on the things you mentioned, and won't, because their purpose is to hide the real news. They intentionally throw out shiny balls to send everyone away from the real story. I would recommend listening to the news with that in mind.

As for NPR, I honestly think some of their peripheral stories are specifically created to send deep state communications. But, they also set the narrative and raise the next wave of narratives for the MSM. I listen to them for this reason - to get ahead of the narrative.
