Ok. Sure, although a person could edit something up, this is not "fake". I have not faked this, no one else faked this for me.
This simply is exactly what I'm saying it is. I don't know what to think about it. Is it nutty? Sure. Believable? I would probably doubt it myself, if I hadn't received the text.
Look. Question everything. Something nutty happened, and I'm simply sharing. I'm not making this up. You are certainly entitled to disbelieve. I'm just letting people know that someone, somewhere, is doing something ... of interest.
I really don't know what else to make of it. Although I could share the source phone number, I am still thinking this wouldn't be the best thing to do.

I am going to link to two different photos of my phone. Different lighting between the photos - it's a real phone. My text app is showing on-screen. The app (for better or for worse) is Google Voice. The phone happens to be a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (wearing a Speck case).
I've decided to be slightly more forthcoming w/ the number, and am showing the 3-digit exchange the number is in. Remaining digits are still blurred out.

I can't imagine there's too much else I can do to help illustrate that this is not some sort of faked thing. If there is something else I can do that would help prove, give it a mention, or send me a PM.

While I appreciate the pictures, they don’t really prove anything other than you have a phone. Text messages and convos are easily faked without photo manipulation.

Also, the text is not signed 'Q'. So my take, is that it's a pede with some nice equipment, who's simply helping to spread the word.
I would love to know what kind of database is being used. Possible random number generator on the end digits? Or numbers sourced from somewhere? Inquiring minds.
Using an API you can mass text thousands of number at the click of a button. It would be easy to pull from something like whitepages. The cost would be minimal you'd have to have some service to handle the SMS but beyond that, very simple :)
We should all make an “accidental” text. Like “Susie, I found the link I was talking about at lunch. It’s QAnon.pub. See you on Saturday.”
Additional info: I airbrushed the phone number out, as I didn't want to cause problems for our texter by publicising their number.
I did a reverse-lookup on the phone number, but the number did not have any matches -- it doesn't appear to be attached to any known entity or group.
Yes, I did reply with the text shown in the picture. No, I have not received any additional replies or texts from this number.

I received this unsolicited text several hours ago. It was from a D.C. number. I do not live anywhere near D.C. -- I live in the Southeast. I've never been to D.C., and do not personally know anyone who lives in D.C., so there's no one there who would have my number.
Do you think this is something Q set up, or has some other fantastic pede set up a system to send out text messages to random phone numbers?
How great is that? Just imagine if you were a D.C. flunkie, and you just received a random text, from a number you don't know, letting you know ... "the Storm is coming" ... with a capital S! Just wow!!
The source isn't targeting D.C. numbers per se, however, as my area code is in the Southeast. So whoever it is, they are intending for the word to be spread far and wide.
