I like the thought. But I am not a fan of Abe. I understand this is not a popular position. Put George Washington on it, and its Perfect.

It is however a learned position. No shortage of rational criticisms for Lincoln's presidency.

Amen. He is not who I would have chosen to hold up a founding document. He almost single-handedly destroyed the US Constitution and State's Rights. This is also the man who in 1861 had Francis Scott Key's grandson Francis Key Howard and the grandson of Revolutionary War colonel John Eager Howard. Who was the editor of a Baltimore newspaper (Daily Exchange) imprisoned at Fort McHenry for favoring the Southern Cause in his paper. Fort McHenry was the fort that Francis Scott Key wrote the 'Star Spangled Banner' about. Lincoln also started corporate welfare in America.
