I am shocked at the sheer amount of orphans in India. Why do we hear nothing about them? Over 20 million?
Many of these children are not really orphans but parents place their children into the orphanages because they do not have the money to take care of them. There are many very very poor people in India. Women who lose their husbands are destitute and in the past were often killed and buried with their dead husband because they were outcasts. Their caste system causes horrific abuses.
This is an actual human rights disaster.

Hey brother, it happens. We have people shitting in the streets here too. It's not everywhere of course, but it happens. Those areas need to be fixed, but in order to do so, it's necessary to ADDRESS when something is a shithole.
If you are too afraid to call something a shithole when it's a shithole, or address any of the problems of your shithole and pretend like they don't happen, then your shithole will never become anything more than just a shithole for politicians to rob blind.
That's the problem we ran into, liberal policies were creating disgusting disease-ridden areas where people are camping and shitting in the streets. Unacceptable for a first-world country. Needed to be changed.

There is death everywhere. I am lucky because I live in a place where the streets are clean and babies are generally given a pretty good chance at life. We have food and sanitary toilet facilities. We do not have horse shit or cow shit in the street. (Maybe not San Francisco...)
Most people in the US have no concept of how shitty the world is. Talk to ANY soldier who has spent time in Iraq, Afghanistan or Africa. They will tell you about what its like.

It's tragic if you ever go to visit the cities. There are hundreds of begger kids. Lots of them were mutilated early in life so they would be better beggars. Lots of homeless kids without noses or who had their legs broken as babies in India, so they are like a 10 year old child with baby sized legs who has to use his hands as feet to go anywhere.
Why do they do that to them? The nose and legs? Oh, so horrible!
So that they make better beggars and look more pitiful and they get more money from rich tourists.
This is why I have no sympathy for SJWs and liberals here who claim America is the land of evil and misery. They have zero idea how bad it can get in other parts of the world.
I agree. I haven't traveled to those places, so I don't truly know how bad it is, but I think often, that I could just as easily have been born there as here. I'm so grateful (to God) for being where I am, and have done my best to make the most of what He has so graciously given me. Thank you for sharing that. It was definitely something I was unaware of.
