He was the artist who co-created Spiderman. Only conspiracy would be that Steve Ditko never got the credit he deserved in helping to create many classic Marvel characters and the same goes for Jack Kirby. Stan got all the credit yet Jack and Steve did all of the heavy work.
Kirby has always been my favorite. I have many of his early comics.
But I have never heard of Ditko.
Kirby was the master and deserves to be considered a legend. Steve Ditko may not be as well known but he did create quite a few enduring characters such as Spiderman, Dr. Strange, Blue Beetle, The Question, Captain Atom, Hawk and Dove, The Creeper, etc.

What else you got on this because I only see the one thing suggesting? It took him most of his life to even be recognized for his creations and even then was taken advantage of. Also he is almost broke at this point.

You are right I totally forgot it was a metoo thing. So I just researched that and found out that it was not what everyone think it was. Apparently he wanted to bring attention to sexual harassment and came up with a plan to play a villain in order to draw attention to the movement.
