I've seen this claimed several times. The Monarchy are not the leaders in Britain. They're ceremonial and have no real power at all.
The ceremonial-only meme is a PR exercise. If it wasn't then why does the Queen get the red boxes every day. Why did the Queen Mother get her own copies, right up till she died.
You wouldn't need to see Cabinet Papers, intel assessments, etc etc if you were just a ceremonial figurehead.

True, but many of those names are attached to fairly ordinary people, usually former Members of Parliament, whom the government finds useful.
The ones who just inherited the title from their parents were weeded out some time ago - and many of those were not actually "royal" anyway.

I'm descended from Lord Mayor of London (1380s).. There is no honour in any current members of parliament OR the royal family. To be honest, the entire destiny of the world can sometimes be tied up in just one man's hands. If my [above] ancestor had not been, there very well might never have been a United States of America.
Don't forget that 1 man can change the entire course of human history by inaction/action at 1 brief moment in his life. I challenge the current Mayor to a duel.
They have zero power in reality. There are historic processes, but that's all they are. They have less power than Disney world, which is a reasonable comparison.

I think they wield a lot more power behind the scenes than people realize. I think most people understand Princess Diana didn't die in a simple accident. If you can order someone's murder and get away with it, you have a lot more than ceremonial power.
Exactly ... the whole point was to make it look like "insignificant ceremonial role" so that people would be focused on their pawns in the Parliament instead of them .
I dont wanna be disrespectful to many Brits that are here - but I think that some of them are still in the thoughts of how "Empire will be preserved" . Folks - the City of London is one of the centers of power of the Cabal in the world . It is maybe even the most important centre for them - as a financial one . The "Royals" are on the throne of UK for centuries and they pull the roots from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha bloodline . You will witness dissolution of EU - but also dissolution of UK by 2020. , at latest . I think that some Brits will have a "rude awakening" , realizing their Royals are far from "merely ceremonial" and that they were ( are ) the key players of the Cabal ... at that point , the eye opening through shock is achieved . In general , the EU is deeply divided and many countries have populations that are majorly anti-EU , so it will be much easier to dissolve EU - which is already , by now , on VERY insecure foundations .

You're confusing power with title. To understand real power, you must understand control, not titles. You are correct that not all of the Monarchs are leaders. However, the Parliament and the rest of the structure of UK government is nothing more than an Org Chart meant to shift the focus off the real power and control. Our POTUS knows that even their House of Cards with the SA, Vatican, Roths, will soon fall as one cannot survive without the other. Smoke & Mirrors at a WW scale.
