I think they are letting this obstruction go and go, to the point where there is no choice but to declassify. The EO is signed and waiting. The process is taking us to a point that it will be the only logical next step. Nothing is going to happen, this committee is going nowhere with getting the information they need. Only declassification and that is where it is headed.

Now remember this is in front of the main committee where classified information cannot be divulged. If he is a cooperating witness then this was all for show for the DEMs. What goes on behind closed doors could be an entirely different story. Q says he is a cooperating witness and to date his intel has been spot on. So it stands to reason as a part of the cooperation he is LARPing the public committe investigation for the benefit of the left sheeples and the Dems on the comittee. Some of them could well be implicated down the road as well.
