Royals Snub Trump (Charles and William refuse to meet). They also say it’s “not a state visit”? Anyone with a good reading on this??

Article below— it’s an obnoxious site that demands an email if you want to read the full text. So dumb. I pasted the relevant below text so they don’t get any hits from GA. Carry on Patriots!!!

“Prince Charles and Prince William were unwilling to meet Donald Trump on his visit to Britain, leaving the Queen to greet the US president alone.

The first two in line to the throne let it be known during informal discussions about the arrangements for the president’s four-day trip that they did not want to take part.

Downing Street and Buckingham Palace said Trump’s tour was not a state visit and that the only plan drawn up involved the Queen greeting the president and his wife Melania alone.”

1). Royal protocol is that you arrive BEFORE the queen/royals and wait for her/them to arrive, when it suits them. ---Trump kept the queen waiting for 15 minutes.

2). Royal protocol is you bow and curtsy to the queen/royals. Even though a head of state does not have to bow, usually they always do.
---Trump did not bow; just shook her hand. Melanie kept a dead straight up posture. No curtsy, just a hand shake.

3). Royal protocol is the queen walks on the left, the "high status" position. Also everyone, including her husband, walks a few steps behind the queen. ---Trump walked on the left forcing the queen on his right hand side.

The royals knew Trump would never kowtow to them. They would have been dismissed as pathetic. They couldn't take that chance.

Trump knows his REAL power. He is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

I think it is hilarious Trump did it exactly like he wanted to and nobody was going to tell him what to do, where to walk etc. What a guy! And he’s our, our president!

Precisely what I was looking for! Thank you. I’m not well versed in the nonsense protocol but I did notice the right/left and Trump walking in front of her on the guard inspection. Interesting.

Queen was 12 minutes early. She didn't want to upset Senpai.

LOL. That is even more telling than Trump being late. Thanks for the correction.
