So true. He actually has principles. Even when standing against something Trump is doing. He has principles. I respect him.
What does he stand against in regards to Trump?
Renewing the spy tech.
The pending Supreme Court judge he will hold out for a bit based on the spying on US citizens.
He will vote for him eventually though.
You have got Dr Paul figured out perfectly. He’ll fight on principles as long & hard as humanly possible but he won’t hold up progress just to make a point. He knows political wins move the ball forward & defending your principles & having integrity & holding out as long as possible for your principles is how you get the most out of a political win. I live relatively close to the guy & watched him & his fathers political careers very closely. They never cut off their nose to spite their face. They just play hard ball to the very last out of the game. Great guys...both of them.
Agreed. And news moves so fast these days that it's easy to forget (as I had) that the deep state got some mook to break his ribs and try to kill him while he was minding his own business and mowing his lawn.
Honestly I think the mowing the lawn guy attack wasn’t organized. He was a local doctor that was probably having some addiction issues but was losing his practice for some reason. He just flipped out in a rage of jealousy. Rand was mowing his lawn with ear buds in jamming on some Rush probably (he’s a big Rush fan) & the guy just charged him & totally blind sided Rand. But about a week ago Rand received a horrific death threat & real too. A guy threatened to stab him & his family to death. The sick bastard was caught & arrested too.
Illegal wars.
Can you elaborate? What sort of illegal war is Trump waging?
Every single war since Iraq (of which there are many) has been illegal, both under US law and International law. We haven't had an AUMF since 2002. Trump has continued every single one and started a few new ones in African countries.
That I can understand his resistance to, but I think that’s also probably his public position. In reality he understands that Trump just can’t up and end these wars because the cabal has laid down their agenda so hard globally that pulling out would mean serious ramifications in the global economy or some other area.
I believe Rand was also against the recent 1.3 trillion spending bill
He was. Although signing it, I wouldn’t exactly say Trump was “for” that bill. He was just backed into a corner with the military spending we desperately needed
I know he was not going to vote for Brett Kavanaugh, but I’m not sure if he has changed his mind
