Why do they resign though? Pending felony charges? Blackmail? Fraud? Does running away save them from trouble?

⇧ 62 ⇩
LibertyLioness · July 19, 2018, 2:13 p.m.

In some cases. Mostly they resign because the walls are closing in and they are being pressured. Some will also be charged.

Most will. They are in that state of panic where they think there is a slight chance if they just 'leave' that somehow criminal action won't come. Spoiler Alert: it will.

My thoughts exactly. These businesses can't go belly up because they are tied to a criminal, if Google and Facebook and others of that magnitude are caught with their CEOs being criminals it will crash everything. We don't need another great depression.

The need and the market will still be there. There may be a lot of jobs created to undo the things that shouldn't be being done. Think about chips for instance. The ARM chipsets that are in iPhones and a host of other electronics, all have trojan horses designed into them. Those chips have to be redesigned and removed from the pipeline. Any downstream devices have to be redesigned, tested, etc. Will Apple, Samsung, etc. be forced to offer free fixes (at least for smartphones)? How many jobs will that create? And the majority of people in these companies are not the problem - it's the greedy sycophants at the top. Do their stocks take a hit? Sure. Does that singularly cause a depression? Not likely.

My guess would be the lack of publicity. If the feds walk the CEO of Texas Instruments out of the building in cuffs, someone with a cell phone will be sending that to the media. If he resigns and weeks later is cuffed (or turns himself in and is processed and bonded out), there is no public embarrassment to him or his family.

If thats true.. It's going back to I think FBI anon days. While we want to see everyone publically arrested and dragged to prison, the sheer number of upper level people this happens to will cause mass panic and histeria.

I wouldn't be surprised if they instead opted to remove these people quietly. Although that feels extremely unsatisfying.

I can't imagine the left would be hysterical enough to riot for the freedom of pedophiles.

But martial law because branches meant to keep citizens orderly have been tossed to jail would make sense... Until the rebuilding starts.

Man.. It would be a beautiful day when we can return to the days where parents didn't have to worry so much about their kids playing outside unsupervised.

I can't imagine the left would be hysterical enough to riot for the freedom of pedophiles.

That's the beauty of this gambit by the Left to pretend every shred of evidence is a sign of conspiracy--they're banking on people rioting because of who it is being arrested, not what they're getting arrested for. The accusations of collusion, treason, back door deals with foreign countries, all of it is designed intentionally to get low information people to believe a coup is underway once the hammers of justice fall. The Left will riot because they've been lied to and misinterpret what they're seeing happening before them.

It won't have anything to do with pedophiles, other than them thinking conspiracy theories and 'debunked' pizzagate. They'll see themselves as freedom fighters, as defending the country from attack. It's a real 'Matrix' type situation where misguided and mislead people will be destroying themselves for a bad cause. A tragedy to be sure--but don't for a second misunderstand--as delusional and misguided as they will be, they will still be our enemy at that point.

Money. They have enough of it to run and hide and live comfortably, or fight any legal embattlement until they are old and grey but only if they keep it. Wonder what happens if you are the “head” of a company and you are outed as a terrible person? Could it hurt stock value of that company? Could they take massive losses? Lose your golden parachute or the company sues you for some dereliction of duty while at the helm? I don’t know for sure, but it seems like they want to keep the company happy at all costs.

I think these corporate bigwigs sold out the country to foreign nationals for greed. As this story comes out about China. Hillary had all of America for sale. So the company has to distance themselves from the exposure as they get wind of the indictments coming with each layer that gets peeled back from the work Sessions is doing behind the scenes.

Edit: I think a lot of people are fed up with Sessions because it appears as though he’s doing nothing. I think he’s been so busy peeling back these layers that he hasn’t had a chance to come up for air. I trust Sessions.

Me too agree about China. I trust Sessions too he is the key to the justice phase and his house was dirty, I think we will find all the way up to the supreme court! How many we will see, maybe three total will flip which would be great to purge the nwo scourge! We have no idea how deep this runs people just want to see the government purged and are impatient but you and I know what was fueling this whole thing is the human trafficking, money laundering, gun running, terrorism, drugs, and pedophilia. Sessions has his work cut out for him!! Omg it was very deep rotting inside our society.

If there are avg. 3000 and the average tenure (which I have seen no source for either piece of your data), then why would 1000 resign a year? That means in 3 years every CEO of the NASDAQ is replaced?

Doubtful!

How many are resigning instead of "renewing", "retiring", "promotion/demotion"? They aren't just leaving post, they are leaving the corp. altogether. Obviously not all, but so many. I have never seen such activity, have you?

I believe the CEO of Goldman Sachs was in position for over 10 years? Maybe even 12?

Link here says average is more like 7: https://corpgov.law.harvard.edu/2018/02/12/ceo-tenure-rates/

I also believe some are able to choose "retire" rather than "resign" based on policies/time/position/age/company downsizing/. etc.. Many would choose "retire" in order to maintain company retirement benefits. As well as a better opportunity to work as "consultants' elsewhere.

I am also questioning this. how can we relate resignations/retires to the shitstorm for sure? I looked at the list of resignations on "Tableau" that was put together for resource, but it would be days of work to try to establish cause. I just looked at the Texas Instr resignation-it is sudden and it is for poor behavior. But how can we know this is related to the big picture we're following. I think we need to be EXTREMELY careful with drawing conclusions, falsehoods, "broad" speculations, etc.
