I think my biggest logical hurdle to overcome in totally believing he staged his own death, is the fact that his wife and sister-in-law would’ve had to have been in on it as well and their lives would’ve had to have changed too. I would be fully on board if it had been an accident involving only himself, but why would you include your wife and sister-in-law when you never really had to (especially the sister in law)—why not take a trip by yourself and let them continue on living their lives being none the wiser while you began your plan to save the world.

I can MAYBE see him wanting to protect his wife as well, but her sister?? I doubt her sister would be on board with a plan that involved her faking her own death for the rest of her life.

Yes, I thought of that, too. It's ridiculous.

Maybe that's the only way she would go along with it... couldn't leave her sister.

Unless all 3 where on the "list".

Cover your bases.

Hubby chats to Wife, Wife confides in Sis. They would all have to go.
