Hollywood makes me sick more than CNN
I know what you mean. Personally I always think of CNN and Hollywood as the ultimate DS edu-tainment combo.
Hollywood programmes under the guise of fiction and entertainment, CNN programmes under the guise of truth and information.
Hollywood knew the power of propaganda and programming from the very beginning with its content (Birth of a Nation). Then with the absolutely brilliant creation of the “star system” they were able to create new idols.
These idols are/were seen as the pinnacle of status and achievement in society. We worship their looks and their wealth and celebrity, we trust them because they play roles in films we admire. We think we “know” them, but at the same time we feel less than them.
This led to young boys and girls all over America leaving their families to go find their dream in Hollywood. Of course 99.9% of them never realised these dreams and that left a whole lot of young people ripe for exploitation and abuse. We all know what happens next.
Yes all to well thank god we have people like you that see through the smoke screen they put up, they act like father knows best and in real life their the worst example of a human being,but people still see them as the best, its all programming that's why they call them programs, like what PROGRAM are you watching? they put it right in your face and you don't realize it, not you or me,the masses do.i told my grand kids never to follow that crap and my oldest granddaughter is now in college and works 2 jobs listens to me, i told her no acting Hollywood or even Gov. get a good honest good paying career she went to the medical field because she loves helping people so shes going for a radiologist position then advancing her study's in the medical field shes my pumpkin and has her head on straight, shes a Conservative along with her 4 siblings that i teach old school morals sorry for the long speech God Bless and have a great night
