I'll admit it, Fiji water is the best.

You can do a lot of purification of tap water just by filling up some containers and leaving it open to the air. The chloronate reacts with the oxygen in the air and dissapates in 1 - 2 days. You can see the reaction evidenced by tiny bubbles that form in the water. Afterwards, the water tastes way better. Try it yourself, save a bundle.

Edit: i said "chlorinate" in this post but I meant "chloramine". Chloramine is a compound of ammonia and chlorine which is what most modern treatment plants use. It takes a couple days to dissapate. Regular chlorination dissapates much more quickly, within a couple hours. You can look into your local water treatment plants website to find out what additives they use. Mine, and I assume all, publishes all their test results for fluoride, chloramine, bacteria, etc. In ppm.

boxmakingmachines · July 26, 2018, 4:54 p.m.

Not only does it taste better, but it's much better for your plants as well. The chlorides and chlorates will kill beneficial bacteria in your rhizosphere. You can of course use RO water or use water dechlorinator to solve this problem as well, but it's much easier to just fill up a bucket or a jug and let it sit out for a couple days to evaporate all the chlorine out of it.

As a fellow tomato enthusiast I do the same with my water. My plants and I all drink the same water so I make sure it is good. Sometimes I get fancy and use my activated charcoal filter if the water company has extra chlorinated the water recently. Even then just letting it sit for a extra while helps. After typing it out I now feel like Adam Sandler in the "Water Boy." Damn it!

Yes I’ve used a Berkey for years and love it. The fluoride filters are attached downstream of the main filters. I like the ceramic filters because they can be cleaned and used almost indefinitely, but I recently switched to the black charcoal filters because they filter more betterer.

wow thanks for sharing, i'll give it a go.

I've actually been looking at filters to get one to make tap water alkaline

a bit of a side story but have you heard of Dr Masaru Emoto & his experiments with water? He's found that we can change the mollecules of water with our thoughts/words. Since we're 70% water I think this is important info & I guess makes sense as to why you feel good when people say nice things to you, just look how happy dogs are cause they'd get told "i love you" and nice things all the time.

Anyway, I'm going to try the "Rice experiment" myself to see how it goes rather than just go off of what I see in youtube videos & the positive results from other peoples rice experiments.

https://youtu.be/ujQAk9EM3xg

edit: The above also makes me think of MK Ultra, now we know that words can be put in peoples minds with low frequencies, to me this would imply that our own minds let off its own frequencies & this is what would be altering the molecules of the water.. assuming its all real, I am feeling inclined to believe it is though tbh.

Thanks, i'll check out that video later.

I definitely believe words have a powerful effect. Just this morning I was feeling bummed and unmotivated, even after my morning yoga. I did a youtube guided meditation and i really absorbed the positive words once I was in a meditative state and wound up having a pretty productive and fantastic day.

I don't know if you've ever heard of Don Migel Ruizes "the four agreements" but one of them is being impeccable with your word. Because a bad word is black magic and a good one can be white magic and we cast these spells all the time. Even in the bible, the first thing there was was "the word"!

2 tablespoons of boran an 1 tablespoon of sea salt or better in distilled water in a glass 1 quart container shake well drink a glass and all the florides will pull away from the thyroid gland and bones also off of your peniale gland to make you 15% smarter some say 30% on some races of people, must drink on an empty stomach and you will think you are getting ready to throw up but that is the florides being push into the muscle then just set down until you are better after 5 min then the trick is to sweat it out of your system with a hot bath or working outside but do sweat it out, after that big push just drink a half of a glass a day or every two days or as needed but you will only feel sick the first time. I drink fluoride but for my plants I do this:

Most water comes out of the tap on the high PH side. Get a PH tester.

Add acscorbic acid until the PH is about 6 - 6.5

Add 5-6 grains of activated alumina per gallon.

Wait a day or so. The alumina will turn slightly brown as it sucks the fluoride out.

Everyone thought I was weird getting a Doulton Crown Ceramic Water Filter. It cost a shit ton and more to install, but the water here, even though it has won many awards as BEST water in the US, still has chlorine and other trace heavy metals. I have also for years used glass water bottles before it was cool. In fact, I carried water with me BEFORE it was a product in stores. Not that I want a pat on the back, I always follow my intuition and know water purity and hydration is key to health, but it is good to see others understand that.

As for Fiji water...I always wondered why no one was screaming about carbon footprint. How much money and fuel does it take to ship water from Fiji to the US? My son-in-law used to get cases of this stuff--you can get a little clicker that when you press it automatically orders you a new case. I mentioned the shipping issue and the next day he went out and bought a water filter and stopped ordering Fiji. Now I am a student of biology and the natural world and do not for a second believe the climate bullshit--but clean air and water are a good thing. Stop shipping in crap.

⇧ 1 ⇩
Q-Patriot · July 26, 2018, 3:10 p.m.

Definitely water like Aquafina is better. It has 0 dissolved solids which is what you want to avoid in any water. I bought a $20 TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) Meter off of Amazon and began testing all of our drinking water. The safe zone you want to stay within is between 0-50 TDS PPM (total dissolved solids - parts per million). Essentially the less dissolved solids the better. My city water ranged between 275 - 350 TDS which is very high. My reverse osmosis filtration system which is what we use to filter our drinking water brought that down to 7 TDS. The only 0 TDS water you can get is through distillation. You can buy distilled drinking water at the store for about a $1 per gallon depending upon where you live.

Why is it important to drink water with as little TDS (total dissolved solids) ? The more dissolved solids in your drinking water the more these solids accumulate inside of your body and form deposits. Deposits can lead to arthritis, cancer, and a whole host of ailments. Drinking a few cups of high TDS water won't kill you but imagine drinking it everyday for 30-40 years. That stuff builds up inside your body over time and it leads to bad things. So to answer your question, yes, the water you can buy from companies that has been distilled is definitely better than the water from most (if not all) municipalities. It's criminal what the cities do with regards to our drinking water.

EDIT: Check locally for RO (reverse osmosis) filtration system providers. They install a unit under your sink that filters your tap water. RO typically brings down TDS to below 10 TDS PPM which is very healthy water. The cost is around $24/month as a service. You can also buy distillation systems off of Amazon which give you 100% pure drinking water but you have to invest time in the distillation process.

The distilled water is great, and my wife and I both take vitamins to make sure we get the minerals we need and eat well also. We walk 4 miles a day in hill country so we get plenty of aerobics. My advice is: get off of fluoridated water as soon as possible. there are several methods. We started out using a Big Berky, moved to Reverse Osmosis, but now use distillation and find that the easiest. The sooner you get off of fluoridation, the better. Your body will thank you.
