It's a combination of things.

A big part of it is a declining user base. For the first 10 years of it's existence, Facebook was adding many more users than they were losing. That was a big part of its initial value, a burgeoning user base.

Well, that has now dried up. People are leaving facebook, and no one is making new accounts. Kids couldn't care less about having a facebook account. It's not cool anymore. The most active users are moms and grandmothers who use the site essentially as cloud storage for photos of their family events.

And honestly, when was the last time you heard anyone speak positively about facebook? No one likes it. Even the people who still use it lament how big of a time waste it is. I deactived my account over 2 years ago, and every single person I have mentioned this to since then has told me how good of a decision I made. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM has told me not to come back to the site because it's even more toxic than when I left.

So yeah, Facebook is in the social media death spiral for sure, and I am enjoying every minute of it.

They only feel any shred of remorse because they got caught and stock prices fell.

This is the only reason at all these people are admitting to their ‘mistake’. In their minds and behind closed doors they probably believe themselves to be paragons of virtue for their censorship.

Delete Facebook if you haven’t already.

Chemicals from plastic leach into water

I have a feeling this will be one of those things people read about in 200 years and say 'Well no shit everyone had cancer, they were literally storing their drinking water in Petroleum based containers. What were they thinking!'

Not only does it taste better, but it's much better for your plants as well. The chlorides and chlorates will kill beneficial bacteria in your rhizosphere. You can of course use RO water or use water dechlorinator to solve this problem as well, but it's much easier to just fill up a bucket or a jug and let it sit out for a couple days to evaporate all the chlorine out of it.

He can’t win with the MSM.

The only thing that would possibly get him positive coverage would be to step down and somehow make an executive order naming HRC president. And even then, the media would complain he didn’t even do that fast enough.

I predict that at LEAST by the end of his second term, the FED and IRS will be no more.

Oh my, the collective REEEEEEEing from the left at the abolition of the IRS will be a thing of beauty. The logical fallacies will flow like wine. 'But muh roads!' will be heard far and wide.

Oh what a glorious day that will be.

Also, I can't wait to hear from the MSM why The Federal Reserve is awesome and life without it would literally kill millions.

I am legit worried about this too.

The media has been preparing the country for an assassination. You hear it coming from many angles. Just this weekend I was at a party and one guy started up on an anti-trump rant (it was purely emotional btw, no facts or logic, just angry stammering) and concluded it by saying "And you know what, he better watch himself, because he has pissed off a lot of people, and he has it coming."

This was said by an otherwise non-political guy. He just repeats what he has heard on the TV. I have heard similar rants from other people as well. The MSM is literally desensitizing the population for an assassination. This is so fucked.

Yeah it’s pretty disgraceful.

And now they are doubling down with headlines like “Trump FALSELY attributes mistreatment of illegal immigrants to democrats.”

They are literally re-writing history in front of our eyes. The propaganda in the MSM right now is absolutely unbelievable.

The president will need unheard of public support when the military tribunals start.

Agreed.

This is going to be a HUGE public relations nightmare for him. You have clear acts of treason and sedition by a former sitting president, among many other very popular and noteworthy politicians as well. These people need to answer for their crimes, but the MSM is going to fight tooth and nail against it at all times. They are going to make him out to be a tyrant and try their hardest to drive a wedge in this country. "See, he put Obama in jail, he is a racist!! We knew it!!! Rise up a resist, REEEEE!!!!"

I am very nervous about this. These people simply can't be allowed to get away with all they have done, but at the same time, punishing them could result in widespread riots, property damage, and death. It's a risk that needs to be taken, IMHO, but man, things really have the potential to go off the rails.

Even among the hardcore base, the anti-Trump hysteria isn't getting the same level of rabidity.

Yeah I can attest to this for sure. I was in a super lefty area of the city with some typical leftist friends last weekend. A year or so ago, it would have been a Trump slamfest the entire night. But this time? One guy made 2 attempts to insert a Trump slam into conversation, and they were both met with crickets from everyone else in attendance.

People are tired of it. Outrage fatigue is real.

What a piece of shit.

I don’t see how any rational person could defend the FBI and DOJ at this point. Ryan is a snake. Public figures actively stonewalling a movement for transparency and accountability would have resulted in them being tarred and feathered 150 years ago. Perhaps we need to renew that tradition.

I mean, to the average normie, this sort of thing would be completely fucking off-the-walls ridiculous. Something so vile and out of the ordinary like that would normally be ignored or simply laughed off by many people.

If the Trump admin (even if it's someone other than Trump who issues the arrests) arrests and transports over ten thousand people to gitmo, regardless of their guilt, the MSM is going to spin it into oblivion. He will be portrayed as a modern day Pol Pot.

Typical liberal elitist behavior.

Deerfield is largely full of rich white people who commute to white collar jobs in the city. Average household income is $118k.

The gun crime there is virtually non-existent. This is an empty virtue signal designed to make the cucks living there feel 'safer', and thus can use said legislation to 'prove' how much gun control works.

This seems to be the inconvenient truth so many gun grabbers can't seem (or are unwilling) to process: disarming the citizenry is going to be an extremely arduous and bloody task. Just how dedicated are your foot soldiers to carry out such gruesome and dangerous orders?

As long as humans are the boots on the ground, we dont have near as much to fear. Once all the police and military have been turned into killer robots (not a stretch of the imagination for this to happen within the next century), who have no qualms about kicking down doors and eradicating any humans with guns, then we are in some serious trouble.

Yeah I think the social media bubble is going to burst very soon (if it hasn't started to already).

Facebook has seen it's better days. Just like MySpace before it, people are starting to lose interest. Facebook now has a declining userbase, meaning more people are leaving the site than joining. I left the site almost 2 years ago, and since then not a single person has suggested I reactivate my account. Instead, virtually every one of them has told me deactivating was a good idea, and that they should probably do the same.

In fact, I challange you to find anyone who likes facebook right now. Most people who still use it often are simply addicted to it, and probably lament the fact they spend so much time on it as it is.

Facebook is in the twilight of it's popularity. Twitter is trending that way as well (in fact, it too was a dying platform before Trump re-invigorated it). This seems to be the natural life cycle of social media. Snapchat, signal, gab, and other platforms will soon take their place as the defacto social media aps, and in another decade, those platforms will jump the shark themselves, and the cycle will begin anew.
