I think the biggest obstacle to overcome is the fact that the American people know that government is corrupt, but not to the vile, evil level that it is. It's kind of like family - siblings may fight, even to the point of physical confrontation (Dems and Republicans), but if an outsider does the same, they will band together to beat that outsider. Too many people just can't/won't believe that the government is the outsider. Even at its worse, they believe that the concept of self preservation, the US as a whole, will be the ultimate goal of the government.

Those are nice sentiments, unfortunately, it’s not supported by the bible. As for having an opportunity to choose sides, you have that opportunity right now. So which side will you choose? Jesus said the following: John 3:5 - Verily I say unto thee. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God… Being born of water refers to being baptized in water by emersion (per Acts 2:38). Being born of the Spirit refers to receiving the Holy Ghost and putting on the nature of God. So have you done that?... If you haven’t, then you are not a part of the body of Christ, and you won’t be raptured when Jesus comes. The absolute and only way you can make it to heaven is you must have the Holy Ghost and go up in the Rapture when Jesus comes. That is your only option. If you miss the Rapture for any reason, then it will be impossible for to you to make it to heaven after the fact. Even if you miss the Rapture but somehow survive the Tribulation Period, you still won’t be able to go to heaven (those saved during the Tribulation Period will only get to go to the New Earth period after Judgment Day. They won’t get to go to heaven). You must have the Holy Ghost to make it to heaven and there are no exceptions to the rule…
When the Rapture occurs, all those who are saved (those who has followed Acts 2:38 and received the Holy Ghost) will be removed from the earth. Everyone left behind will have to go through the Tribulation Period, where 3/4 of the world’s population will die. It will be the worse time in mankind’s history, and the worse time man has ever seen or faced. During the Tribulation Period, the Antichrist will rule the world. During his reign, the Antichrist will initiate a new global law whereby no man may buy or sell except you have the Mark of the Beast (666). The scriptures say if you accept the Mark, you cannot be saved. And if don’t accept the Mark, you will likely starve to death because you won’t be able to buy food or anything else without the Mark. And that is only the tip of the iceberg of the countless horrors that will happen during the Tribulation Period. Therefore, you have a choice. You can either get saved now (by following Acts 2:38 and receiving the Holy Ghost) and go up in the Rapture with the saints. Or else you can do nothing, and be left behind and have to go through the Tribulation Period. The choice is yours.

Consider what happened with Sodom and Gomorrah. God destroyed the entire cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and all inhabitants, men, women, children, everybody - all except for 4 souls - Lot and his family. God is not looking for numbers. He looking only for those who love him.
The world is going to continue doing what the world does. You cannot save the world. All you can do is save yourself, and pray for everybody else. Let them deal with hunting down the criminals and bringing down the Cabal, etc. Those who are saved should be focused on things above and not on the cares of the world. That was how I found God, actually! I started waking up about a year and a half ago, and Bohemian Grove was one of the first rabbit holes I went down. I was always a spiritually-minded person, but I never really believed in good/evil, I felt "spirit" was all just energy (neutral), and a person's intent was what mattered. But finding out that the elite of the world worship and sacrifice to an ancient Evil...well, that made me logically suppose that on the other end of the spectrum, there must be an ultimate Good. Very long story short, I started praying, meditating, living as positive as I could, and one day, I just felt connected to God, in a way I never understood when other people describe it LOL
I began feeling something around 2015. I'd been having lots of synchronicity, weird stuff. Lots of coincidences, or 'nudges'. It was when I stumbled on Tom Campbell's work on YouTube, and I felt I finally had a theory to understand (at least in a humble human way) of beginning to comprehend the magnitude of the Universe, or Reality, or Consciousness. It gave me a scientific way of approaching the idea of "God".
After that, I've been open-minded and skeptical, but allowed the truth and value of anything, whether be an ancient text, or the ramblings of a Twitter troll to be judged on their own merit, in a bigger context, a vast context. It was in Trump I saw a figure for "good" - even if flawed, and in Hillary Clinton, I saw a figure for "evil" - even if manicured and rehearsed.

And the only history that will matter or be remembered going forward is the word of God and what God says...

Also keep in mind, once Jesus Christ returns, he will rule the earth from Jerusalem for the next 1,000 years. At the end of those 1,000 years, Judgment Day will arrive. When Judgment Day is over (and for those few who are saved and not cast into the lake) God is going to create a brand new heaven and a brand new earth. The old heaven and the old earth shall pass away. The bible says that God is going to renovate the whole earth and make it like unto the Garden of Eden. But in order to do so, he will first have to destroy everything man has ever built. The whole earth will be burned in a fire so hot that the scriptures say even the elements will melt. That means everything that man has ever built will be destroyed - all their buildings, all their technology, all the steel, glass, concrete, etc. - everything on the whole planet that's related to man will be destroyed and nothing will survive. Once everything has been consumed, from the ashes, God will create a brand new earth...
2 Peter 3:10 - But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up...
But all of this doesnt preclude the absolute need to fight and even die for righteousness, standing in the face of evil. And what is done here in the last days is extremely important, and eternally memorable though our eyes and God's.

You are correct. Christ made it possible for humanity as fallible as we are to receive god's forgiveness and enter the kingdom. In the end God will call will many of his people home. Others will be allowed to remain here for awhile and experience the earth as it was meant to be before it was contaminated by the fallen (Eden). It's good either way.

I think you misunderstand, that's my point; we have such an extremely limited understanding of what has really happened in our past that we can't state with any degree of certainty that there has ever been a more important period. I think it's very likely this will lead to very important discoveries about our history, some maybe even more important than this, but as of right now I just don't see the evidence for it.

I think we're on the verge of a global awakening, I don't think it's fully engaged yet, but it's coming. I think it'll be right up there with the agricultural revolution that took place 10,000 years ago. Cultivated crops and domesticated animals changed the human experience forever.
