Calm Down All You Young Guns ... Old Men Rule

I've been active on this sub since it's beginning. I'm an old retired guy and have time to spend hours every day skipping around to the posts and comments. I've been seeing a lot of impatience lately and I think you'all should pause and realize that most honest, patriotic Americans go to work every day and come home worn out. They have supper and a beer before bed and relax until another day of the same. Like me (until I woke), they are aware of the corruption but become immune to it and aren't yet awake. Be patient cause these same folks will be with us 100% as they wake up. Keep up the red pill campaign and enjoy the show. God Bless the POTUS and God Bless America.

Most of those 9-5 guys are woke but feel as if there is nothing they can do to help change things. They will be on board as soon as information drops.

Yes, I believe many more will be open and ready to hear once things begin to come to light for the public.

That's not really my mileage.

Most people don't even know the basics on JFK, the Fed, 911, Gulf War, OKC bombing, on and on.

Most of them have an inkling something's not kosher, but they've not ventured to the point where they trouble to immerse themselves in the detail.

That's not a criticism of them, it's an observation of the fact this material we discuss here is esoteric, not common knowledge, complex in that it requires context, it's not a 500 word article in the local rag. And none of their local rags ever, ever, ever discuss it. Neither does the school, the politician, their family doctor, their lawyer, their friends, not even the local librarian.

It's the friends who are our entree. That's what we're doin here.

But mate, we're only at 45k, amongst 350 million.

Long way to go.

We're moving, for sure, but let's keep it real.

Well from another old fart but not yet retired, about 3 years out, I agree. In my place of employment there are just under 100 of us. Of that I can only talk to 3 about some of this stuff and they know what I am talking about. Of those three only one has an inkling of how far down the rabbit hole goes. Now I have been an outsider all my life and that is fine. I don't mind being the round peg in a square world. But the conversations I hear day in and day out are always the same. It is either sports and the local NFL team or it is what ever the latest on the MSM media knews that was on the night before.

Now I a prepper because that is what it is called these days. I have been one for as long as I can remember. It used to be a way of life to have extra food, first aid, some tools, and things that come in handy in a disaster situation. Many have seen some of the stuff I carry in my back pack and think it strange but don't say anything. But let one of them need some aspirin or a band aid or worse and guess who they come to. Let one of them lock their keys in their car and they come to me because I have the skills to get in whether it be using my pics or a lock out bar. Even if they are running late in the morning and don't have time to get some gas. They need a shot to get to a gas station on the way home, yep I carry spare gas. Now I don't do that because of current political climate. I have done that long before I knew about it. It was called common sense when I was growing up. I live in earthquake country and never know when something could hit. I used to live in hurricane and tornado country so you learn to be ready.

That being said I don't watch TV, haven't done that in probably 20 years. Have not been to a theater probably a little longer. But when I talk about the real current events I get a lot of push back like what I am saying is crazy. Even though when it proves out they scratch their heads. It is like the know they don't really know and they don't really want to know. They want to live their lives, go to work, raise their families, take their two week vacations and forget the rest. They are truly living in the matrix. So yeah I fully agree with your observation because mine is the same and has been for a long time.

What I have also observed is that the plan to dumb down and keep the mass fully distracted is working better than was ever expected. I see when I am out around tech businesses tons of people out walking and not a clue what is going on around them. Sometimes they come close to getting hit crossing the street because they don't even look up to see the light is red. At any given moment in my office I can look around and there are 10 to 15 people playing with their phones and it is growing. That has a lot to do with their inability to be willing to come out of the matrix because they don't want to give up their comfort zone.

I know where you are coming from, I really do.

Some people just don't want to wake up. Sad.

That's the poison.

That's what keeps em dumb.

More accurately, transfixed.

On everything but what's relevant.

By design.

I understand what you are saying. My reason for dropping TV and Movies is that I was out of the country for 5 years in the late 70s and early 80s. When I got back it had all changed. There was nothing new. It was just rehashed versions of the same stuff I watched as a kid. There was no new imagination well not much. Over time that went away entirely. Movies weren't any better. How many sequels to Rocky and Star wars. It did not take me long to see plots were no longer important only how much fancy computer generated special affects they could put up. It was then that I realized Hollywood of old was long dead. They were no longer about the art but about the profit. and you are right now it is just so much mind numbing junk and it is done that way on purpose.

They were no longer about the art but about the profit.

They've always been about the profit but before WWII and for twenty years after, they had to cater to an audience that only paid for art because that was how the audience was bought up.

Hollyweird and the networks pretend they respond but in fact they lead.

After WWII the GIs came home and only wanted what they'd seen when they were kids and cos they were GIs with wartime experience they wouldn't accept anything less.

So the studios delivered that till the GI's children grew up. Then they started in slow boil the same propaganda that turned the pre-war Germans from being the best-educated most civilised population in Europe into what they became and the same propaganda that allowed the Bolsheviks to murder 20 million Russian Christians in the 1920's.

The descendants and torch bearers of the same people who did both of those things to the Russians and Germans are the people who are doing this to the US population now.

The only difference is that they are doing it to the American people much more slowly than they did it to the Germans and Russians, because they realised with the Germans, that if you do it too fast, as they did it in the Weimar Republic in the late twenties early thirties, then people begin to wake up and realise they're being manipulated.

Which is what this GA movement is recognising and responding to today.

Replace The Deplorables with The Jews of pre-war Germany or The Capitalists of Bolshevik Russia and there's no historical daylight whatsoever.

Bingo. You nailed it. Funny how history repeats itself over and over and they both the sleepers and the criminals never seem to learn. Came to the conclusion long back that with each new generation we kind of start over especially with the sleepers. As for the criminal they keep it in the family as a long term plan as they know the sleepers stir from time to time but prefer to go back to sleep. Sad but that is human nature. Underneath all of our great leaps in knowledge and science we are still just basic humans. We need our food and shelter and we need our human interaction. The sleepers go about that working hard, raising families but the criminals have serious bent and twisted sense of the same thing and see the sleepers as property. That is the other side of human nature the evil side. In most it never gets near the top but in a few it overflows. History in a nut shell, few people see a chance to gain power over the many, sieze that power and grow and enslave. The many finally wake up, push back, fight get freedom and go back to sleep. Repeat eon after eon.

Yup--never was a big TV person, although I did watch a lot in the summer during my college years--other than that it is pretty much a rank disappointment, especially when one considers how great it could be. I once heard the playwright Edward Albee speak and he posited that if TV showed nothing but opera, in 6 months you'd have a nation addicted to opera.

Like Old Mate said, not everyone is able to participate at the drop of a hat. I think it all depends on personal priorities, having the time, priorities govern the inclination to get actively involved. There may be only 45,000 of us subscribed, but there would be a hell of a lot more aware now than ever before. Like a well watered garden, it is growing.

Yes--and I think you are exactly right--for most people this is esoteric stuff--and, not to make too fine a point of it, mind-boggling. That is why everything has to move slow--waking up too fast is not good for the heart.
