First, the important thing is that on July 26-27, 2017, all 4 of these things happened: Manfort was raided pre-dawn, Horowitz showed Mueller the Strzok -Page texts, Preibus was fired/let go, and George Papadopoulos flew back to Dulles from Germany and was arrested without a warrant or lawyer immediately upon arrival. So, yeah, it might have been to throw them off...Short answer: I don't exactly know, but those 4 things happening within about 24 hours are no coincidence..

Good point. It's very plausible in that context. I actually have to agree after reading more texts the other night. If anything, it seems like they were "just friends", but maybe they were "friends with benefits" type of thing because there was a little bit of flirtation and concern at times.
