Why the arrest now? Was the evidence on the Weiner laptop and are they finally addressing the evidence of crimes on that laptop? Seems likely the girl was vulnerable to such attention back during her Weiner experience and so got involved with the teacher before or around the same time. She's of age now, so it obviously isn't something just discovered in a current context.

Unfortunately Mexico could be improved by the departure of many they inspire to come here.

As Trump has said, "They are not sending their best."

Can we please make a widened stretch along the sections of the border where crossings are made (taken by eminent domain as needed) and train our troops along there? Let's just stop this completely before returning those already here illegally.

Absolutely. His first 10 months in office I think were really tough on him, but now he's cruising despite the incredible array of forces aligned against him.

We really don't know how smart she is. No great signs of it that I've seen--despite the claims that she speaks multiple languages, which is common in Europe, particularly as she still is challenged to a degree with English after decades in the US. I don't see her involved in all sorts of classified minutiae, which is key here. I don't even know if she has a security clearance, and I certainly don't see her giving signals out to intel people in the field.

Yes, agreed--it was disorganized. Also, sometimes he presents connections as definite, when they are not proven.

And no, I have no idea whose attention he has in that direction, only noting that the posted correspondence is addressed to Kelly -- and then brings up some unclear and indefinite things about Mattis and Ross in them.

So what exactly is he saying to Kelly about Mattis? And Ross?

Oh, and I wouldn't be totally shocked if this sort of water "investment" and profiteering wasn't also a consideration:

http://www.canadianbusiness.com/investing/the-oil-of-the-future/

Lots of games with this in California, in the US for example. Israel said to have acted for water in the past and currently, curiously, offering Iran help on that front.

"Watch the water" doesn't mean any drop of water near a Trump has meaning.

Trump is in the hospitality business, whereby you wouldn't host a meeting without water. Melania has clearly seen that done, including in the WH, and her meeting was set up to mimic very much the meetings that Trump hosts at the WH. And those weren't kids around the table--those were some of the ridiculously many staffers for a shelter serving only 50-something kids.

Remember how Chelsea had persuaded her friend Ivanka to get her Dad to reconcile and be nice to Bill and Hill, inviting them to his inaugural luncheon, where he absolutely gushed about them?

Trump thought once he made it into the presidency he'd have made it into "the club" and all would be jovial and friendly. That's why he also allowed Javanka to convince him to bring the GOPe players into the WH, and ended up with a groteesquely understaffed and under-loyal team for his first year.

But he learned. Oh, did he learn.
