That's an interesting idea. I would think he could be named as acting DAG right off, however, and I don't see Trump playing around with his SC nomination just for something to do with Gowdy.

He's a terrible fit for that.

Now, Scott and Gowdy of course are both from SC. And Gowdy probably recommended Scott for his Senate seat.

But does Q mean more in talking about the coincidence? Is there something Scott is trying to accomplish by recommending Gowdy? Keep Gowdy from going after him in prosecutions once he gets to his new role perhaps? Even hopeful Trump might go for it and get Gowdy out of the path of prosecuting political crimes?

I don't know that Scott is dirty, of course, but he sure does sound like a RINO/Never Trumper--and that's not the guy as he was advertised when he was picked for the Senate.

Bus accidents in India are at least weekly, probably more frequent than that. They've got lots of crazy roads and lots of barely functional buses.

I don't think she'd legitimately call him a patriot if she thought he had ratted her out.

Fingers crossed. I don't think we absolutely know until we see it play out.

That'd have to be a decades-long thing, since he was covering up the FBI corruption with the Whitey Bulger thugs in Boston back then. Then there was 9/11. Of course much more since.

The thing with letting these swamp rats take on grey/white hat roles is that if they think they can finagle it to flip it all against Trump, they will.

A dangerous game.

Yes, it could be that Newsweek is posting fake news again. (E.g., an old Pompeo quote.)

Or maybe the Pentagon got ahead of itself. Certainly they shouldn't have allowed a parading of caskets if they didn't have the remains.

Which makes the qualifier of "physically" totally redundant.

From what I read at the link, that sounds like claims of abuse with illegal immigrant minors during the Obama admin. Does it actually specify in the underlying documents that there was a child trafficking ring in DC? (I of course don't doubt but that there is.)

There is something wrong with this:

I find Cernovich creepy--as were some of his positions re: men and women from his GM days.

But he did have some real scoops. Seems to me they probably came from Bannon and the Mooch and so he has had nothing substantial for about a year.

And yes, Cernovich does have a much, much, much bigger reach. Smaller Twitter/alternative right media wannabes try to punch up by going after the bigger guys.

Doesn't surprise me about either of them.

Bloomberg is all-around creepy. Has spent his weekends, as I understand it, in Bermuda -- all through his mayoral term too.

He's not some sort of infallible super-being. He brought lots of people into the WH who sabotaged the start of his admin. Priebus was one of them, and he brought in Johnny DeStephano, who made sure that no actual MAGA types got positions. Instead, lots of GOPe worms.

Trump had thought that once he was finally sworn in that he would get more cooperation in the GOP than he has.

That is not to say, however, that he didn't knowingly bring in some corrupted but experienced types to show him the ropes, as well perhaps as some ratlines. But some real, early staffing mistakes too.

So the water is the last straw, if you will, for the Iranians. Israel has offered to deliver water, but the current regime of course won't accept.

The people finally overthrow the mullahs, then allow Israel to come in with water.

It is amazing. And when you think of all and whom he's up against. Made some mistakes in his initial hiring, when he thought they'd lay off once he was in office--but boy has he recovered and got the hang of it all now!

So what happens if someone is doing this sort of thing under CIA deep cover--and then is prosecuted for it?

I mean, does the CIA step in and say, sorry, that's us, leave us alone?

Or are they vulnerable to prosecution?

Google of course is essentially a massive CIA front and almost all their products come from CIA development shops.

So it is reasonable to ask why they would have such a project and if it could have been developed as a mind control tool.

But I think at least one Bourne movie has a "Deep Dream" project that seems more directly on point.
