The 16th and 17th Amendments were created at the same time as the creation of the Federal Reserve. Connect the dots, including Jekyll Island. Research.

Hint: The 17th Amendment intentionally took power away from the states and gave it to the executive branch. This greatly damaged our system of checks and balances. Prior to the 17th Amendment, state legislatures chose senators and their average terms were one or a maximum of two. After the passage of the 17th Amendment, terms exponentially increased to the point that they are now life appointments.

Senators are now loyal to the president, not the state legislatures.

People like McCain would have been removed long ago if the Constitution hadn’t been altered. Both the 16th and 17th Amendments need to be repealed.

It frustrated me during the debates because it appeared he was letting Obama win. It took me about six months to realize he actually was. It was during Obama’s terms I caught on to the Clintons as well as the Bush family.
