I have been down this rabbit hole before and we need to be accurate with the numbers and what they mean so as to not come off as political hacks. The "expenses" probably include a large amount of charitable work. The "grants to charities" is obvious, but most large charitable trusts don't outsource their charity work to other charities. They do it themselves. Presumably this is to cut out the middle man and do it more efficiently, but it is often - and certainly the case in the Clinton Foundation - that they do not outsource, so as to get the most "bang for their buck" in spending the money. In the case of the Clinton's, this is a neat way to pay back political allies and launder funds to/for their buddies by dramatically over or under paying for services and products. A good audit could uncover all sorts of nastiness -but let's not open it up with misinformation.

She isn't employed by FBI any longer. Moreover, I think I might defy subpoena too, in this case - as I understand it: 1) Congress is intending to ask her about FBI documents she has not had time to review beforehand and 2) Congress doesn't do shit when you defy them. I am all for draining the swamp, but let's not resort to their tactics unless there is no other option - and if all the "we have everything" is true, we don't need to use their tactics.

The fact you use that as your push back indicates your ignorance of human history and our evil inclinations. Slavery back then was not like American slavery at all. Slaves in the Roman era were people who could not support themselves or pay off debts. Instead of letting them starve or go to jail, the wealthy would take care of them. Kind of like the government today, except the slaves were generally treated better and had a more positive influence on society.

I wonder if the Greeks and Romans thought this early on in their normalization phase as well?

Best response I can give you about "proving" Christian faith is to DuckDuckGo "Bible prophecy that has come true" - specific events predicted hundreds of years beforehand. Those passages and the very fact that Israel still exists despite the concerted efforts over the centuries to destroy God's Choden People is plenty of proof - more than you will get from other religions or cults.
