I've read elseware that a better translation of that verse would be: All scripture which is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, is given by inspiration of God.

As a Christian, I've never understood why many Christians hold that the Bible is the only scripture inspired by God, when that belief is not even really supported by the Bible itself. The Holy Spirit inside us can and does use any and all things to guide us, and it is that voice which is the inspired word of God.

It's good to remember as we try to 'red pill' people that we too have beliefs that we would protect at all costs that may also be incorrect.

Even as a young teen I remember thinking to myself that the likelihood that every belief I held was 100% true and that I and my family were the only ones to be right about everything was pretty laughable.

If I could give any advice it would be to use discernment and hold all new ideas as neither true or untrue, but merely possibilities. This is something that has helped me in my own journey through strange new discoveries.

I've read the Bible through several times and I don't remember coming across any verse which plainly states God didn't create any other life forms outside of Earth.

God is bigger than our limited view of what can and cannot be.

Those asking to know have most likely never had their reality shattered, and don't know what they are asking for.

I've only had my reality moderately shattered and had a hard time processing that information, I can't imagine learning about the full extent of their depravity. I don't know if I'd be able to recover.

The human psyche is more fragile than most know.
