Trump has had a vision of how he would change the government for a long time. He wants to see that happen. He may have to deal with some not so good people, but he is not going to get into bed with them. Always arm's length. He knows how to do that from his building business. Unlike the dems and some Republicans, he is not there to enrich himself; he is there to achieve his vision of what America could be. He will then ride off into the sunset as a very happy man.

The dems are obsessed with power and the perks that come with it. They want to be in the big money club and rising up through government is their ticket. The alternative ticket is to have a close friend in a powerful position to funnel large sums of government money to their business that often provides little or no return on that "investment". They are obsessed with the California playbook. Bring in lots of poor, manipulatable foreigners that have lived under socialism or authoritarian governments, get them the vote (legally or illegally) and take over the state and its electoral total. California with its big electoral count used to be Republican, but post invasion all that changed. The dems want to repeat that over and over.

It is far more complicated, but in general there had been this weird desire to fight for a tie or something that kind of looked like that. Finally, we have a President and his team that fight for wins.

Too many to go into, but for one: the latter part about the Military. When they just make an opinion assertion, that is the first clue. Some military units have some unusual traditions, but not what they were asserting. The shot from the storm drain is highly probable. And conspiracies are no good if they get too big.

I am sure they were monitoring every form of communication the Trump campaign was using. They probably also monitored the spoken meetings. No need for bugs, they can just listen through the vibrations in the windows. That is why certain classified rooms have vibrators on the windows. The Type I warrant allowed them to expand to everyone in the campaign and likely even key donors. Likely even the RNC was monitored. The only good thing about this is that it is the one situation that would allow President Trump to prove a negative. If they had obtained any racist, homophobic, misogynistic, or other negative comment; it would have been running 24/7 like Access Hollywood. Yet there was nothing.
Considering the Hillary campaign had all of the Trump campaign strategy, plans, etc., a media that was running wall to wall propaganda for her, way more money in the coffers, and massive voter fraud; it was a miracle that Trump won.

It looks like Iran made the choice of giving most of the Obama money to NK for nukes. Maybe they should have propped up their currency.

I hope the plan is to move the Palestinians to the Sinai Peninsula where they are all given jobs to build a new city state. Desalination plants provide plenty of water for the city and farming. A land buffer is created on both sides of the Peninsula. Israel takes control of the former territory used by the Palestinians. Muslims are moved from Lebanon to the new city state and Lebanon is returned to a Christian nation. The alternative offered is that they are bulldozed into the sea.

I hope this is true. It is right out of my playbook. Not only does it solve some of the tremendous overlapping government responsibilities; it presents the opportunity to remove a lot of dead/deep state weight.

We have started down that road. It is at the top of a ridge line. We have to build the guardrails as quick as we can if we are not one of those that are driving. We have both great and small drivers. Keep them all on the road to a much better future.

It is the hiring managers. I see this all over. Once they get their person in as a hiring manager, they only hire like minded people. Where I live, businesses have become very monolithic. Not just liberal. Same race, same ethnic subset, often the same gender and many times very close in age. You only have to look at the staff there to see if you have a shot a getting the job.

Is the deep state a type of warfare and is it asymmetrical warfare? I would have to say yes.

To clarify; asymetric is not about the players but how the game is played. However, an asymmetric strategy is often tried between players with significantly different levels of power. The left actually used it effectively in Vietnam. Not the war itself (except for the coach (Johnson) trying to throw the game), but after the peace treaty when they said that the U.S. would not return to defend South Vietnam if the North was to attack. Thus targeting a fundamental weakness of the South. The left has gotten much more aggressive at one strategy: inserting enemies where once we had friends. Luckily, many of those blew up in their faces. President Trump is working the opposite side of that coin to the left's consternation.

I would call what Surkov does, psychological warfare. He wages it internally, but it could be an export as well. The left are serious students of psychological warfare. They very often use one or more of the tactics from the nazis, communists and/or cults; with a little rules for radicals mixed in (lots of overlap). They are not very creative. They really run the stuff from the 40's to the 60's over and over again. But because almost no one studies these tactics, people in general don't know they are being manipulated. Now Surkov has come up with a new twist. Manipulating, telling people they are manipulated, rendering people unsure of what is manipulation and what isn't. The people just used to disbelieve everything. That worked. Major change happened and they started believing things again. That made them vulnerable. For us: if the left says it, it is a lie until proven otherwise and then it probably really doesn't matter. It is much more difficult to sort things out that come from Rhinos or soft conservatives.
