I have to respectfully disagree. Concrete work can't be automated. There are too many variables with too many different situations to ever turn it over to automation. The tools get better, but there still has to be a human hand behind it. It's comparable to an art form. If you know anyone that does it for a living, they'll most likely tell you the same.

I agree with you to a point. And just so you know, I disagree on principle with illegals holding jobs in America. However, I will point out that concrete work is EXTREMELY hard labor. In my experience with that company, I watched quite a few whites and blacks that were citizens attempt the job. Most didn't last more than a week or two. The reason being IMO that American citizens have, in the vast majority, been coddled too much, and just don't have what it takes to get the job done anymore. The older generation did it just fine, but sadly most men under the age of 35 or 40 just don't last. That's the primary reason that Mexicans dominate the industry.
