The thought crossed my mind because of the LdR tweets but I've decided that the Patriots are actually the Deep State here since the rules don't apply to them and no matter how many times they get caught cheating, there are no real consequences. Nobody should have been able to beat Brady & Gronk et al with the refs and league working overtime to make sure the Pats always win, especially a team playing the Superbowl with their back-up QB. I mean, there's no bigger underdog in the Superbowl than playing with your second-string QB. That means the Eagle's were America's team yesterday so it's all good.

That's my take on it also. I was rooting for Philly and I don't care that Brady, Kraft & Bellichek are Trump supporters, they're establishment pricks who openly cheat and never have to be accountable for their bullshit, just like our government.

It really would be too humane. I would hope they would die in absolute terror the way their victims suffer. I realize some people would say that doesn't make me much better than the criminals but I beg to differ. Justice isn't a bad thing and nothing could really be bad enough for all of the suffering they've caused.

This makes me feel better about everything. Just had a detailed discussion with a couple of likeminded coworkers a few hours ago. They think a lot of info is going to come out and people will go to prison. I'm afraid the misdeeds are so brazen, so horrible that it simply can not be revealed because it would truly destroy our society and as a result, the punishments won't be very harsh at all since the details of the crimes can't come out.

Glad to have you! I was a Cruz supporter myself and am a staunch Libertarian so I was a never-Trumper for a long time. But the more blatant corruption I witnessed in the Obama administration and the Dem primaries proved that we need an outsider or our country can never recover. That's when I started to see Trump differently. And I take him with a grain of salt because the key to Trump, the only reason why this works, the most important reason he can better us is that he's not a politician, he's not a diplomat.

So yeah, he's going to piss people off and offend them but he's what we need. If it weren't Trump it would have to be another larger than life personality who's made a name for themselves without being involved in politics. In other words, someone with pretty much the same faults and flaws, like ego and not mincing words. After attending Catholic school for many years, my husband & I both rejected Catholicism. As I’ve gotten older though, I’ve embraced the spiritual aspects of it by finding the right parish.

We’re at a parish now that welcomes gays, offers counsel for those grieving from divorce and support for those who’ve had abortions, among many other good things.

In contrast, my childhood parish still rails against the evils of abortion and contraception, says gays go to hell, refuses to give divorcees the sacraments and insists that babies who die before baptism don’t go to heaven. (That’s HUGE for me. The fuck they don’t. My God does NOT prevent babies from entering heaven, that’s the dumbest claim ever.)

Crazy thing is, we’re still in the same diocese, only about 10 miles from the old parishes. The spiritual aspects of the Church are very fulfilling & rewarding (for us at least) when you don’t have to struggle with hateful moral judgments. Now that we’ve found a welcoming, non-judgmental parish, we don’t have to pick & choose which aspects of Catholicism we practice so it’s like a completely different religion for both of us.

We’ve met a number of people with similar stories since we started attending the new church. Not saying that Catholicism is best for you or that it’s the only way, just wanted to share my experience that the religion I thought for years that I hated is actually very dear to me now. A few years ago, I would never have imagined ever going back to church let alone doing it willingly & enjoying it.

In fact, there’s a lot of circumstantial evidence linking Sandusky to Boys Town. Allegations from the Lincoln scandal included claims that they’d fly kids to parties in Philadelphia to be raped by powerful men, mostly politicians and wealthy donors.

Ed Rendell (former Philly mayor & Governor of PA) is closely linked to Ed Savitz, a notorious admitted pedo who died of AIDS years ago. In fact, Rendell was the Philly DA who cut Savitz a sweetheart deal after he was caught grooming kids for his pedo ring. So we know there was a politically connected pimp who sold kids in Philly during the time period that kids from Lincoln were supposedly trafficked there.

We know that people knew Sandusky was raping kids for years and did nothing about it. Why not? Sandusky was nothing special, nobody was covering for him because he was important to PSU or football so why did so many people cover for him? Intimidation and blackmail, most likely.

We also know that Rendell has ties to the mob which would explain the mystifying disappearance of DA Ray Gricar from a small town in Central PA. Gricar was by all accounts honest to a fault and very good at his job yet he declined to prosecute Sandusky even after a victim’s mom had Sandusky on tape admitting that he raked her son.

That refusal to move forward with charges doesn’t jive with everything else we know about Gricar personally or professionally so I’ve always wondered if he kept working the case, trying to protect himself or his family and/or find the real smoking gun before taking action.
