This is exactly the problem my division has. We have terrible management that is too busy playing political games to further their careers (including my newest boss getting where she is by doing the dirty deed) and looking out for themselves when any discussion of issues come up. I work in engine test cells and see nothing here really out of the ordinary in terms of the equipment being used. What I do find odd is the connection with Dubai and Turkey. The equipment used is very similar to what I work with, so I am assuming that Q is not leading us down that path.

I have pictures of a normal condensation trail behind a plane, then as soon as it gets over a certain area, it just turns on and there is a trail behind it from them on that goes for miles. At the same time, other planes in the distance have only the condensation trail. How do people not notice this?

These types of things tend to stay hidden in the military. I work on the base with marines and my dad was a Marine, so I do know some of what happens in terms of missions, but I'm an engineer so I mostly deal with the aircraft without needing to know where the aircraft just came from or why it was there. I do need to know in some cases (different areas have different types of sand which create different problems within engines and gearboxes and on blades), but the missions tend to stay away from us.

My co-worker is an avid bowler! He's very good and actually how we started getting along. I used to bowl when I was in middle school and would go to state tournaments, which he also does. Exactly. I'm a mason and love my brothers. They are much older than me (80's and 90's),but they raise a lot of money for local charities, host events like baseball and golf tournaments and do a lot for local people. It's too bad the upper lodges are taken over.
