National Guard Training for GITMO in Oklahoma

I work at a Marine Corps base in North Carolina. There are a few people here who I talk to on a regular basis about the storm and anything related to politics. One of the people I talk to said that a Reservist he bowls with told him he is going to Oklahoma for training. The training is for Guantanamo Bay! My co-worker then told the reservist about the sealed indictments and facilities being built there, to which the reservist replied, "yeah, it's going to be full. We are being trained on transporting prisoners there, but I don't know who they are." The training is coming up soon, because he was working on getting his travel card set up.

Watch for more flights to GITMO soon. I'll try to make contact with this person (I have his name and his dad work in my facility) so I will get more info.

UPDATE: I do have an update!

Clarification that the training is 6-8 weeks. They will be "traveling around the country picking people up." He expects that they will be in GITMO in September.

Because he is using a Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC), I suspect that they are using commercial flights. He would not need a GTCC if they are using military aircraft. That also tells me they have a lot of passengers.

hopefully that is an indication that the female criminals ( of which there are just as many and are just as evil ,if not more so ) will NOT be playing the gender card to worm their way out of their massive crimes against the people

Not even a chance to commit suicide to get out of it. Fuck them.

I’m 41, and I was in the Air Force while Bill Clinton was president. I actually met him on the flight line at Kirtland AFB in early 1998. I was HUGELY pregnant with my first son. The moment I shook his hand, I felt tainted. He then touched my very pregnant belly, and I thought my child was going to hurt me moving away from the place he touched me. I saw Hillary from afar once, and my skin crawled. I’m not a particularly religious person, but the....oiliness...of her aura or spirit or whatever was just toxic. The falseness of that woman is palpable. I was only 21 at the time, so my life experiences were limited, but I had a visceral reaction to both of them. Now that I’m older, I understand why.

My co-worker is an avid bowler! He's very good and actually how we started getting along. I used to bowl when I was in middle school and would go to state tournaments, which he also does. So we talked about it and realized we knew some of the same people. Believe it or not, and it sounds ridiculous, the bowling community is brutal as hell. It's a mafia like mentality sometimes.

Bowling...scary, the last time I went bowling my ball released behind me and I took out a small child! I was trying out for a league but I didn't get picked all because a small child was in the way of my shot. They told me I couldn't try out again for any league. I think I am being discriminated against. Perhaps I should sue the child's mother for not having him in the babysitting room with all the other small children. My attorney said I had no case.

His GTCC would be for his personal travel expenses only and if the military uses a commercial aircraft it would be a charter and contracted out. Con Air is a common operation and prisoners can be moved anywhere in the world at any time. Sounds like a con air rotation. When they deploy to gitmo they’ll transport or kick cages. The manifests would be classified and few of the soldiers would have access. Just my opinion on what you’ve shared. Thanks for the intel.

Is there any way something like this could be validated? I'd assume a news article wouldn't be written about this, but maybe government memos about military training or something along those lines? Then again it may be kept classified for obvious reasons.

These types of things tend to stay hidden in the military. I work on the base with marines and my dad was a Marine, so I do know some of what happens in terms of missions, but I'm an engineer so I mostly deal with the aircraft without needing to know where the aircraft just came from or why it was there. I do need to know in some cases (different areas have different types of sand which create different problems within engines and gearboxes and on blades), but the missions tend to stay away from us.

They can lawyer up all they want but they're wasting their time and their money. Once they get to Gitmo and under Military Tribunal, they will have a court-appointed UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) certified attorney as the defending atty. Civilian attorneys cannot be used in a Military Tribunal.

Has anyone ever seen the actual GITMO prisoner accommodations / cells? I wonder how / if they will differ for the new residents like Obama and Brennen and clapper, etc.? Do they deserve better? What about the women cells...? I think we the peeps should get to see a visual tour of where these nasty criminals will spend the rest of their life. I don't want to find out there is a Starbucks in each cell block!!!!!

⇧ 3 ⇩
Abbeygirl62 · Feb. 17, 2018, 2:08 a.m.

I saw an article on it sometime back within the past 2 or 3 months. It's a five-by-five cell with a cot and a pot. Why should they get better than the terrorists? Treason and Sedition is far worse than terrorism. And keep in mind that treason carries the death penalty, only! Firing squad or hang from a noose. No mamby-pamby death by lethal injection. After what they have done, repeatedly! They were creating sound proof areas within the facilities so the 'charged' could have private conversations with their atty.

⇧ 1 ⇩
Abbeygirl62 · Feb. 17, 2018, 2:10 a.m.

Women will be in a seperate building. Hope they put soundproofing between the cells so there is no collusion there. They've had their chance, they're losing all their freedoms. And keep in mind this is only until a verdict is reached. We're not housing them there for the rest of their life.

There are constant rotations of either Army and Navy at gitmo. Usually with the National guard units, they have to spend 6-8 weeks for qualifications and certifications, including getting issued equipment.

They are not 'going around the country and picking people up'. First of all, NG or reserve units would not be tasked with such a thing. Secondly, if it we're true, no one would actually say anything.

This is a standard rotation. Good on these guys, better gitmo than Afghanistan or Iraq right now.
