Hong Kong opposition quits legislature after Beijing intervention

Hong Kong pan-democratic lawmakers collectively resigned on Wednesday, a stunning move that came after four other opposition legislators were ousted following an intervention by China's top decision-making body.

The mass resignation of 15 other lawmakers means that Hong Kong's legislature will operate without opposition for the remainder of its extended term, not unlike the rubber-stamp parliament in mainland China. "Today's decision shows that Beijing has completely given up on 'one country, two systems'," Wu Chi-wai, chairman of the Democratic Party, the largest opposition party in Hong Kong, said at a late afternoon news conference, referring to the framework governing the city after the 1997 handover to China from the U.K.

"We have tried our best in the past 23 years to hold China to its promise of universal suffrage," Wu said. "We will find a new path to continue to fight for democracy. We will not be defeated."

The four lawmakers from the pro-democracy camp were stripped of their seats immediately after the new resolution was passed by the National People's Congress Standing Committee, or NPCSC, and reported by the state-run Xinhua News Agency. The disqualified lawmakers Alvin Yeung, Kwok Ka-ki, Dennis Kwok and Kenneth Leung had been banned from running in Legislative Council elections that were scheduled for September due to a finding that they had failed to uphold the Basic Law, the city's constitution. Wednesday's announcement referred to this finding, which appeared to be based on the lawmakers' support for the U.S. government's Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019 and sanctions imposed on local officials in relation to last year's anti-government protests.

The legislative elections have been postponed until next year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"There will be no future for this legislature," Leung said after the government's announcement. "The disqualifications will make Hong Kong's legislative body ineffective." In a news conference before the mass resignations, Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam defended Beijing's decision, saying that the central government had the authority to interpret the Basic Law and handle problems arising from its implementation.

"The resolution did not empower me to disqualify lawmakers," Lam said. She said that the decision was made based on the Basic Law and other ordinances, including the recently enacted national security law.

Lam said she was "excited" that government bills might be passed more quickly in the Legislative Council without opposition lawmakers but insisted it would not be a "rubber-stamp" body.

Bahrain’s long-serving prime minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa dead at 84

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Bahrain’s Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, one of the world’s longest-serving prime ministers who led his island nation’s government for decades and survived the 2011 Arab Spring protests that demanded his ouster over corruption allegations, died on Wednesday. He was 84.

Bahrain’s state-run news agency announced his death, saying he had been receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic in the United States, without elaborating. The Mayo Clinic did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Prince Khalifa’s power and wealth could be seen everywhere in this small nation off the coast of Saudi Arabia home to the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet. His official portrait hung for decades on walls alongside the country’s ruler. He had his own private island where he met foreign dignitaries, complete with a marina and a park that had peacocks and gazelle roam its grounds.

The prince represented an older style of Gulf leadership, one that granted patronage and favors for support of the Sunni Al Khalifa family. That style would be challenged in the 2011 protests by the island’s Shiite majority and others, who demonstrated against him over long-running corruption allegations surrounding his rule.

While some called for a constitutional monarchy, many others pressed for the removal of the long-ruling prime minister and other members of the Sunni royal family altogether, including King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

At one point during the height of the unrest in March 2011, thousands of protesters besieged the prime minister’s office while officials met inside, demanding that Prince Khalifa step down over corruption allegations and an earlier, deadly crackdown on the demonstrations. Protesters also took to waving one Bahraini dinar notes over allegations Prince Khalifa bought the land on which Bahrain’s Financial Harbour development sits for just a single dinar.

Robert Gates, a former U.S. secretary of defense under President Barack Obama, wrote in his memoirs that he urged the king at the time to force Prince Khalifa from the premiership, describing him as “disliked by nearly everyone but especially the Shia.”

Bahraini officials soon crushed the protests with the backing of troops from neighboring Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. A government-sponsored report into the protests and crackdown later described security forces beating detainees and forcing them to kiss pictures of King Hamad and Prince Khalifa.

Low-level unrest continued in the years that followed, with Shiite protesters frequently clashing with riot police. Shiite militant groups, whom Bahrain’s government allege receive support from Iran, planted bombs that killed and wounded several members of the country’s security forces.

But while other hard-line members of the Al Khalifa family actively pushed for a confrontation with Shiites, Prince Khalifa maintained contacts with those the government opposed. Even with his influence waning, he called Qatar’s ruling emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in 2019 during the holy month of Ramadan despite Bahrain being one of four Arab nations boycotting Doha in a political dispute.

In September, a U.S. Air Force C-17 flying hospital flew from Germany to Rochester, Minnesota, following by a royal Bahraini aircraft. While U.S. and Bahraini officials declined to comment on the flights, it came just after America offered the same care to Kuwait’s ruling emir just before his death.

There is a setting to throw out votes for specific individual contests if you vote for a whole party.

"With the Party Preference contest, the voter selects their preferred party, and any contests which do not belong to the same Elector Group are ignored when the ballot is cast."

A bad operator could theoretically setup the ballot to put a specific candidate into a party that is not his official party. If you select his party and vote for the party, the individual candidate wont get a vote.

Scenario:

In the second scenario, if you voted for the Republican party, Trump would NOT receive a vote because he was registered to the "repubiican" party.

This might explain why Trump performed poorly in strong-republican districts. In the second scenario, if the voter just voted straight-ticket, then a Trump vote would be ignored.

Bill Ackman Shorts Over $20BN In Credit To Hedge Next Crash

Having made many headlines earlier in the year with his rightly apocalyptic perspective on the pandemic, billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman pocketed a tidy $2.6 billion in profits on a massive (credit) hedge he placed amid stock market complacency ahead of its March collapse.

On March 23rd, we completed the exit of our hedges generating proceeds of $2.6 billion for the Pershing Square funds ($2.1 billion for PSH), compared with premiums paid and commissions totaling $27 million, which offset the mark-to-market losses in our equity portfolio. Our hedges were in the form of purchases of credit protection on various global investment grade and high yield credit indices. Because we were able to purchase these instruments at near-all-time tight levels of credit spreads, the risk of loss from this investment was minimal at the time of purchase.

Well, the founder of hedge fund Pershing Square Holdings is at it again, telling The FT that he has put on another massive credit hedge against his long stock book where he sees complacency. Pershing is up 44% year-to-date, so who can blame him for protecting some of that gain, but what appears to have catalyzed the action is a combination of the vaccine news (which he sees as bearish), the complacency of stocks (seemingly ignoring all possible risks), and the cheapness of the hedge.

The vaccine news "is actually bearish for the market because it will make the whole thing seem less of a threat, people will taker mask-wearing less seriously, and more people will die in the next few months than in the previous period." "We're in a pretty treacherous time generally," the hedge fund manager warned, "and what's fascinating is that the same hedge we put on 8 months ago [which was extremely profitable] is available on the same, if not better, terms now… as if there had never been a 'fire' and that everything's going to be fine…"

Ackman said the new hedge is close to 30% the size of the bet he placed in late February, when he bought a set of huge insurance policies linked to $71bn of corporate debt.

Despite commenting that "it's going to be a depressing, challenging time," Ackman does offer some silver lining in that he notes "this is different from the hedge we put on in February when we thought it was a near certainty that things would get really, really ugly." This time, he is apparently more optimistic and still long stocks, adding that "I hope we lose money on this latest hedge."

We suspect that last sentence is not entirely true, especially given his comments on the asymmetric nature of the hedge payoff if the future doesn't turn out in the panglossian manner it is priced for.

While the rotation into cheaper value stocks slowed down on Wednesday, JPMorgan Chase & Co. strategists said the shift into those companies can endure much longer after years of lagging growth shares. What really happened in Georgia when the water main reportedly broke causing a delay the election counting in the state?

On election night in Georgia President Trump was running away with the Presidential election, then suddenly it was reported that vote counting had stopped in Fulton County due to a water main break in Atlanta.

According to CBS WVLT8 ballots in Georgia would not be counted due to a water main break:

Nearly 40,000 absentee ballots will not be counted for the state of Georgia until at least Wednesday after a water main break, Fulton County officials said.

According to officials, a water main break at State Farm Arena caused a pipe to burst. The burst pipe was discovered around 6 a.m. Counting of the ballots began at 11 a.m.

WVLT8 also released a statement from the Secretary of State related to the incident:

Tonight Fulton County will report results for approximately 86,000 absentee ballots, as well as Election Day and Early Voting results. These represent the vast majority of ballots cast within Fulton County.

As planned, Fulton County will continue to tabulate the remainder of absentee ballots over the next two days. Absentee ballot processing requires that each ballots is opened, signatures verified, and ballots scanned. This is a labor intensive process that takes longer to tabulate than other forms of voting. Fulton County did not anticipate having all absentee ballots processed on Election Day.

(States like Florida count these ballots before the election and provide up to date results which enables them to provide final results on election night. Any state that doesn’t count ballots before the election when received so winners can be announced on election night appears to place ulterior motives ahead of transparency and timeliness.)

One Georgia resident, attorney Paul J. Dzikowski, attempted to obtain more information on the reported water main break in Atlanta. He sent a letter to and requested any information related to the water main break under the Georgia Open Records Act. This is what he wrote in his request:

Please accept this correspondence (and the attached letter) as a request for production and inspection of records under the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70, et seq. (the “Act”). Please produce, for inspection and copying, the following records:

• ALL “Public records” related to the burst pipe at State Farm Arena that occurred on or about November 3, 2020, which impacted the counting of ballots by Fulton County authorities, including and not limited to internal and external communications with any person(s), communications with Fulton Co. Board of Registrations and Elections, memoranda, notes, work orders, requisitions, invoices, repair records, and all other public records.

This request is intended to be as comprehensive as possible and should be interpreted as broadly as the law allows, in accordance with the Act, and shall encompass records in paper form and any electronic and digital format. I look forward to your prompt response as soon as the records are available for inspection and copying but in no event more than three (3) business days following your receipt of this request, as required by the Act.

In response the only public records generated as a result of the alleged “burst pipe” that halted the counting of ballots in Atlanta (Fulton Co.) were a few text messages. These messages were with the Sr. Vice President of the Atlanta Hawks, Geoffrey Stiles, who called it a “slow leak” that was “contained quickly,” and he said the entire thing was “highly exaggerated.”

No repair orders or work orders or invoices from a plumber associated with this “burst pipe” were provided. Nothing.

Dzikowski also filed a similar request with the Fulton County Board of Registrations and Elections which resulted in no records being located per their response.

What really happened on election night in Atlanta and what was the real reason they stopped counting tens of thousands of absentee votes until the next day?

Deutsche Bank Proposes A 5% "Work From Home" Tax

At a time when the Fed is already monetizing the entire US budget deficit thanks to helicopter money, sparking conversations about the utility of taxation, and when a Biden administration is set to at least try and roll back most of the Trump tax cuts, the last thing the population wants to hear about is even more taxes.

Yet in a "modest proposal" from Deutsche Bank, the bank argues that in a time of pervasive covid shutdowns, "those who can work from home (WFH) receive direct and indirect financial benefits and they should be taxed in order to smooth the transition process for those who have been suddenly displaced."

In other words, the argument goes that working from an office is somehow punitive, and since WFH during the pandemic leads to "many benefits" as a resulting "disconnecting themselves from face-to-face society" a 5% tax for each WFH day "would leave the average person no worse off than if they worked in the office." The bank calculates that such a tax could raise $49bn per year in the US, €20bn in Germany, and £7bn in the UK. "That can fund subsidies for the lowest-paid workers who usually cannot work from home."

In the report written by DB strategist Like Tumpleman, he argues that the popularity of WFH was growing even before the pandemic: "between 2005 and 2018, internet technology fuelled a 173 per cent increase in the number of Americans who regularly worked from home. It is true that the overall proportion of people working from home before the pandemic was still small, at 5.4 per cent based on census data, but the growth was still way ahead of the growth in the overall workforce."

Naturally, the covid shutdowns have turbocharged that growth, and as a result the proportion of Americans who worked from home increased ten-fold to 56% during the pandemic. Many of these people will continue to work remotely for some time. Indeed, two-thirds of organizations say that at least three-quarters of their staff can work from home effectively, according to S&P Global Markets. Meanwhile, a DB survey shows that, after the pandemic has passed, more than half of people who tried out WFH want to continue it permanently for between two and three days a week.

This sudden shift to WFH means that, for the first time in history, "a big chunk of people have disconnected themselves from the face-to-face world yet are still leading a full economic life" as if that is somehow a bad thing.

It gets crazier: the bank claims that working in the comfort of one’s own home leads to a slew of financial benefits including:

-financial savings on expenses such as travel, lunch, clothes, and cleaning.

-indirect savings via forgone socializing and other expenses that would have been incurred had a worker been in the office.

-intangible benefits of working from home, such as greater job security, convenience, and flexibility.

There is also the benefit of additional safety.

As if it is difficult to find someone who also sits in front of a computer all day long in Bangladesh and has the exact same skill-set but would work for a fraction of the pay.

Yet those people who are working remotely are, according to DB, the equivalent of social parasites as they "contribute less to the infrastructure of the economy whilst still receiving its benefits" potentially extending the slump in national growth. In other words, the mere act of working from home makes you guilty of not propping up the economy!

That, according to Templeman "is a big problem for the economy as it has taken decades and centuries to build up the wider business and economic infrastructure that supports face-to-face working. If a great swathe of assets lie redundant, the economic malaise will be extended."

In short, those who failed to develop the appropriate skill-set and are "forced" to work in society - mostly employees of service companies - and who were unable to refused to educate and train themselves to be able to "enjoy" the benefits of work from home jobs which incidentally include sitting in front of a computer for hours on end and in some notable cases masturbating in front of a zoom conference call, have to be rewarded monetarily by all those who are lucky enough to not have to work in public.

While it would be easy to laugh and merely brush this idea off as another ridiculous policy proposal from a bank whose very existence would be very much in question had it not been for several rounds of generous taxpayer funded bailouts, since this is yet another grossly socialist proposal we are concerned it has a very high probability of passage not only in Europe but also in the US, especially if Democrats manage to pull of a "Blue wave" sweep in Georgia in January.

Sullivan Wins Alaska Reelection, Bringing Republicans To 50 Senators

Republican Dan Sullivan was projected to win the Senate race in Alaska, bringing the GOP to 50 votes in the upper chamber after CNN and NBC both called the race shortly before 10 a.m. EST. Trump also easily picked up Alaska’s three electors with 57% of the vote.

According to Bloomberg, Alaska was called late because state law required local officials carefully examine each mail-in ballot before counting could officially begin on Tuesday.

Sullivan defeated Al Gross, an independent who was backed by national Democrats in their effort to flip the seat. Gross is a former orthopedic surgeon and commercial fisherman and is the son of former Alaska Attorney General Avrum Gross (D). According to The Hill, the loss marked another state where Democrats failed to unseat Republicans in seats seen as closely contested. Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) all won reelection in states highly targeted by Democrats.

“I want to congratulate my fellow Marine, Senator Dan Sullivan on his victory. Alaskans know Dan as a man who always puts service before self and who has championed the unique needs of his state in Washington,” National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Sen. Todd Young (R-Ind.) said in a statement. “The state will be well served with another six years of his representation.”

Sullivan's win means that, as widely expected, majority control will depend on the winners of two January runoffs in Georgia.

If Democrats win both, the chamber will be tied 50-50, with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote. But if they lose either one, Republicans will control the majority as President-elect Joe Biden takes office.

According to polls, Democrats face an uphill battle if they hope to reverse the results of initial vote in Georgia where the two Democratic candidates lagged their GOP challengers.

JPMorgan Chase Is Under a New Federal Investigation, One Month After Getting Slapped with Its 4th and 5th Criminal Felony Count

Each quarter publicly traded companies file a form known as the 10-Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The 10-Q filed by the largest bank in the United States, JPMorgan Chase, on November 2 carried a very disturbing paragraph that had not appeared in the 10-Q the bank filed on August 3. The paragraph reads as follows:

“JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. has been advised by one of its U.S. regulators of a potential civil money penalty action against the Bank related to historical deficiencies in internal controls and internal audit over certain advisory and other activities. The Bank already has controls in place to address the deficiencies related to the proposed penalty. The Firm is currently engaged in resolution discussions with the U.S. regulator. There is no assurance that such discussions will result in resolution.”

Why is this paragraph so disturbing? First of all, the words “deficiencies” and “audit” are not two words that one wants to read in the same sentence pertaining to any Wall Street bank. But they are particularly frightening when it comes to the largest bank in the United States that has racked up an unprecedented five criminal felony counts – to which it admitted guilt – in the past six years. That’s five more felony counts than the bank racked up in the prior 100 years of its existence.Equally unprecedented, the Board of Directors of JPMorgan Chase has kept Jamie Dimon as its Chairman and CEO, despite the fact that he has sat at the helm of the bank during this unprecedented and relentless crime wave.

There is also the disturbing fact that JPMorgan Chase’s three-year probation for its role in rigging the foreign exchange market just ended in January of this year. Nine months later, on September 29, it gets slapped with two new felony counts by the U.S. Department of Justice for rigging the precious metals and U.S. Treasury market and is put on another three-year probation. And now, just a little more than a month later, we are learning that there is yet another federal probe of this bank in the works. This is known as a recidivist lawbreaker. A real Justice Department doesn’t keep doling out probation periods to recidivist lawbreakers. It throws them in the pokey and demands changes in the management and Board of JPMorgan Chase.

But William Barr’s Justice Department did the exact opposite of what a rational person would have expected on September 29 when it announced JPMorgan Chase’s fourth and fifth felony count in a six-year span. Instead of holding its typical press conference to announce such weighty charges, the Justice Department stunned Wall Street watchers by making the announcement on the same day that all eyes were on the presidential debate that night and doing it with just a press release – no press conference. That decision might have come from the fact that prosecutors were charging the bank with “tens of thousands of instances of unlawful trading in gold, silver, platinum, and palladium…as well as thousands of instances of unlawful trading in U.S. Treasury futures contracts and in U.S. Treasury notes and bonds…” but the Justice Department had decided to condense what could have been tens of thousands of counts into just two felony counts. If you don’t hold a press conference, reporters can’t ask those picky questions as to why the Justice Department was letting this serial lawbreaker off so easily.

By comparison, in 1985 the U.S. Department of Justice forced the big Wall Street bank, E.F. Hutton, to plead guilty to all 2,000 counts of wire and mail fraud it had engaged in.

Here's what I know. I'm a DOD contractor and just got off a conf call and the subject of FirstNet came up.

FirstNet is the militarys private internet. First responders can also access the system. It's like a backup to the internet for the military and for communications should they go down.

A scenario for 10 days with no internet or cell service was mentioned then they went to a completely different topic.

All I know, I have no other details as to why, what they think may happen, it being intentional to stop news, your guess is as good as mine. But my immediate thoughts were Big Tech taking it down or mass arrest happing. Something like that I dunno.

In a Washington Post article on 18th October 1988, former director of the CIA accused De Beers and the Oppenheimer family of refusing to sell the US a large quantity of industrial diamonds necessary for war production.

Completed in 1944, the report concluded that the Nazi’s were getting their diamonds from the same syndicate that supplied the Allies.

Major A. W. Schmidt, the senior US investigating officer, stated in the report that this trade was protected by senior officials in the British Governments Ministry of Economic Warfare and accused these officials of being treasonous and of prolonging the war. Schmidt additionally reported that measures taken to curtail the flow of diamonds to Germany were “…sabotaged, not by the British Government, but by the representatives of the Diamond Trading Corporation in London through their domination of the Diamond Committee of the MEW [Ministry of Economic Warfare].”

the Minister of Economic Warfare during this period [1942-5] was Lord Selborne. Amongst his other associations, Selborne was a member of the top level “circle of initiates” of the secret society formed by South African gold and diamond magnate, Cecil Rhodes – who founded De Beers. Following Rhodes death this powerful and secretive group was run by Lord Alfred Milner with Lord Selborne in the deputy leader slot. Following Milner’s death in 1925, he assumed the leadership of the “group.” Among his other wartime duties he headed Churchill’s Special Operations Executive (SOE).

A so-called “false order,” the Shickshinny knights were composed of individuals who leaned to the extreme political right. The Order’s “Armed Services Committee,” included such military notables as British Admiral, Sir Barry Domville – a former head of Naval intelligence who was imprisoned in WWII for his pro-Nazi activities. Domville headed a pro-Hitler group called “The Link” which was intimately associated with the powerful and traitorous pro-Nazi “Right Club.”

Membership of this “club” was composed of over 250 leading lights of Britain’s Establishment. Included was John Milner Bailey, the son of Sir Abe Bailey - another South African gold mining millionaire who was a contemporary of Rhodes. Sir Abe was also the main financial supporter of the Rhodes-Milner group after Rhodes death and was an “initiate” of Rhodes secret society. A close friend of both Rhodes and Milner, he named his son after the latter. Significantly, John Milner Bailey was the largest financial contributor to the “Right Club,” and had married Winston Churchill’s daughter Diana, some years earlier.

One knowledgeable source told this writer that one family, the Oppenheimer’s, effectively control the world’s gold, diamond and platinum market. The Oppenheimer business empire of today was, of course, drawn largely from the old business empire of Cecil Rhodes. During the course of his life, Sir Harry Oppenheimer held Rhodes in the highest regard, referring to him as “the Colossus.” Sir Harry, who later converted from Judaism to Christianity, was made a Knight of St. John – the British equivalent to the Catholic SMOM.

He shares this distinction with other notable Establishment figures such as Sir Otto Beit, the son of the German born Alfred Beit - a contemporary of Cecil Rhodes in South Africa’s Kimberley diamond fields and also a shareholder in De Beers. Alfred Beit also generously helped to finance Rhodes secret society.

Lord Carrington is also a Knight of St. John and a former director of Rio Tinto Zinc, Hambros Bank and was also Co-President of Chatham House (all are, or were at one time, associated with the Rhodes-Milner group). Lord Carrington is also a leading light of the secretive Bilderberg Group. Since its inception in 1954 (the same year that the London gold market reopened following its closure in 1939) Bilderberg has had a large German representation over the years.

Adobe Acquiring Management Platform Specialist Workfront For $1.5 Billion

Adobe (NASDAQ:ADBE) is reaching deep into its coffers for a new asset buy. The company announced Tuesday that it signed a deal to acquire privately held office software specialist Workfront for $1.5 billion.

The two companies are longstanding business partners. According to Adobe, it and Workfront which it describes as "the leading work management platform for marketers" currently share more than 1,000 clients. Workfront's total customer count is over 3,000, while Adobe's user base tops 1 million.

Adobe''s client list is varied and includes such familiar companies as Under Armour, Home Depot, and Deloitte.

Workfront's platform will be added to Adobe's Experience Cloud, an omnibus software platform that includes numerous marketing and analytical functionalities.

In Adobe's press release touting the acquisition, Executive Vice President and General Manager Anil Chakravarthy said that the "combination of Adobe and Workfront will further accelerate Adobe's leadership in customer experience management, providing a pioneering solution that spans the entire lifecycle of digital experiences, from ideation to activation."

Adobe has not specified how it will fund the acquisition. As of Aug. 28, the company had nearly $3.8 billion in cash and equivalents on its books.

The company expects the deal to close in Q1 of its fiscal 2021. The acquisition is subject to approval from the relevant regulatory bodies. Until the transaction is complete, Adobe and Workfront will continue to operate as independent companies. Following that, current Workfront CEO Alex Shootman will continue to lead that business while reporting to Chakravarthy.

Project Veritas Tuesday night released a video with USPS whistleblower Richard Hopkins asserting that he did not recant his allegations of election fraud, a lie that was published by the Washington Post.

Additionally, James O’Keefe posted recordings of federal agents attempting to coerce and intimidate Hopkins into recanting.

The tactics used to coerce and intimidate the USPS whistleblower is something you would see in a Communist country.

It was chilling.

Hopkins made major waves when he went on record about Postmaster Rob Weisenbach’s orders to backdate ballots to November 3rd in Erie, Pennsylvania, so that late ballots would be accepted.

Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day to be considered valid and counted, per US law.

In the newly released recording, Agent Russell Strasser says that “I am trying to twist you a little bit.”

“We have senators involved. We have the Department of Justice involved. We have-” Strasser says.

“Hopkins interjects that Trump’s lawyers have also been in contact with him.

“I am not — I am actually. I am trying to twist you a little bit because in that, believe it or not, your mind will kick in,” Strasser says. “We like to control our mind. And when we do that, we can convince ourselves of a memory. But when you’re under a little bit of stress, which is what I’m doing to you purposely, your mind can be a little bit clearer. And we’re going to do a different exercise too, to make your mind a little bit clearer. So, this is all on purpose,” Strasser said.

Roger that , cars got way too complex and not thought out as well as the older cars design wise . The Germans need to come to Cleveland or Detroit and drive around the streets for awhile to see what their customers roads really look like . 4 control arms and 2 ball joints a wheel gets expensive to replace completely every few years as the potholes destroy them rapidly. The timing belts you have to put the cars into service mode that costs 300 to 500 itself. They putting theirselves out of business and the people let the cars rot in the driveways when the timing belts breaks etc. You know the deal.
