this is not my post. was posted here last night too when i was here alone. doesn't look like newsbaker's style but idk. i also contacted. we're still getting picked up, just not with notables listed on watn site- he'll need to do that. meanwhile, there's still a pointer to current notables on qrb.

Can confirm that, afaik, for wearethene.ws, notables are scraped from the bread not the dough.

So when i make a mistake, i edit the bread right away - as mod. One good reason to sign in when baking - can act fast.

Things to Check Right After Baking

Bread title:

• ck bread number in the title (if wrong, edit on screen first, dough later)

• ck wording of the title (must be "QRB General #4444: [Insert title here] Edition")

Notable buns, page 2:

mainly check the newest bun - the one not yet collected.

• bread number and format - (if not ok, make changes on-screen first)

• ensure there's a bread number is at the top and bottom - and that there's a link at the bottom (make needed changes on screen)

• ensure there's a blank line above and below each bun (same - edit on-screen)

Think the best way is in an 'eternal' thread that's pinned that have stuff we want to keep either forever or at least a long time. posts detailing how board originated, content policy, how to format for scrapers, how to bake materials, ongoing resources.

Sort of like Meta or the Office, but more of a database. but if there's a discussion we have here on the main board that anyone wants to document coz it's useful for the future, u can stick it in there. Some of it will probably be in the dough too but this way, key stuff won't fall off the catalog in a month.
