If we look at the Twin Cities vs Outstate (blue cells) in terms of remaining votes each candidate can get out… We find that Biden has had to burn 18K votes in the Twin Cities and only 11K burned by Trump, but outstate, Biden burned 30K vs Trump's 28K. This means Biden is eating into his vote pool faster than Trump and this means Trump's advantage in votes he can turn out on ED is growing larger. If Biden runs out of easily convertible votes in CD 3, 4, 5, Trump has the upside on ED.

 

Still overall, Trump heading for a narrow win. What we watch for is if the vote margins begin to slow down in their velocity over the next week or so before ED.

Reading through the latest available disclosures, we discover that Beau's widow, Hallie Biden, and Hunter Biden served as co-chairs. Hunter's half-sister, Ashley Biden, also is on the Board of this public charity, as is former FBI director Louis Freeh.

 

Newspaper accounts of Hunter's troubled life, of his relationship with Hallie, and of Ashley's own travails may explain why Bidens on the Board have been too busy to supervise the nonprofit, discharging their solemn duties of care, obedience, and loyalty.

 

How, then, might we explain why Freeh missed reckless behavior of near-blood relatives who held themselves out as co-chairs of a public charity "protecting children"?

 

It takes a special kind of villain to exploit children. These are precious lives, naïve and trusting and the true future of humanity.

Cancelled Silent Hill Game Footage Surfaces Online

A prototype demo for a cancelled Silent Hill game has surfaced online, showing what could have been a unique new entry for the series.

 

The footage – graciously tracked down by YouTube channel PtoPOnline – shows that an unnamed Silent Hill game was being planned for release on the PS3 before it got the chop. Presumably because Konami hates fun and its own IPs. Check out the clip for a thorough explanation of what the hell happened below.

 

The game would have focused around a priest named Father Hector Santos in search of his niece, Ana, who in true Silent Hill style had managed to get herself mixed up in some foggy nonsense. Series antagonist Alyssa was also set to make a return, as she infected the real world with her gruesome mumbo-jumbo, forcing buildings to spring up out of the ground, in midair and under the toilet seat.

 

The project never got a name but it was supposed to be open world, and would naturally feature some of the game’s classic enemies like creepy nurses and Pyramid Head. It would have also used a blend of classic fixed cameras and Resident Evil 4 style over the shoulder stuff.

 

Watching the footage, it kind of looks like The Suffering in the way that it was going to blend action sequences and balls-to-the-wall horror.

 

Although this was eventually shelved as a Silent Hill game, it’s good to know Konami are still pushing ahead with the hotly anticipated Silent Hills. Oh wait.

Silent Hill: Downpour focuses on Murphy Pendleton (David Boyd Konrad), who has been incarcerated for several years for stealing a police cruiser and crossing state borders. The game opens with his murder of the sequestered child molester and murderer, Patrick Napier (John Grace), in prison. After a riot, Murphy is placed under the supervision of officer Anne Cunningham (Kristin Price), who has significant animosity toward him, and is in the process of being transported to another penitentiary when the transport vehicle crashes near Silent Hill. Indirectly responsible for the deaths of eight children, Sater is eventually consumed by guilt and commits suicide.[16] As the game progresses, it is revealed that Murphy made a deal with the corrupt corrections officer George Sewell (Joel Bernard), to gain access to Napier, who had abused and drowned Murphy's son, Charlie.[17] Murphy eventually locates DJ Bobby Ricks (Antoine L. Smith), who has been dedicating songs to him to attract his attention. Although he has been trapped by the town, Ricks proposes a plan to escape by boat; his keys, however, have been lost. Before they can leave, Anne confronts them, and all three are attacked by monsters. Murphy regains consciousness to find himself alone again.[18] Led to a monastery on the premise of collecting a deceased relative, Murphy encounters the Bogeyman, a sledge-hammer-wielding monster who murders a child in front of him. Murphy finds it again, seemingly lifeless, and learns that it is the relative he is intended to collect. Murphy confesses Napier's murder did not bring him any solace. Spotting the keys to Ricks's boat around its neck, Murphy seizes them and is drawn into a confrontation with the monster.[19]

 

After defeating it, Murphy tries to leave the town by boat, only to be stopped by Anne. She shoots him when he refuses to return to the town. He wakes in a prison in the Otherworld and eventually kills the Wheelman, a massive, mute creature in a wheelchair by disabling its life support. Afterwards, Murphy relives the favor he had to repay Sewell, which required him to kill Frank Coleridge (Leer Leary), another corrections officer who was planning to testify against Sewell's corruption and who believed in Murphy. Anne reveals that Coleridge was her father, and after the attack, he lived in a vegetative state until his death years later. Motivated by revenge, Anne had arranged for Murphy's transfer to her prison. In the final sequence of the game, Murphy transforms into the Bogeyman and follows her as she attempts to kill him.[20]

 

There are six endings available, based on choices made throughout the game. If Murphy does not kill Anne, the "Forgiveness" and "Truth and Justice" endings show that Sewell framed Murphy for his attack on Coleridge. In "Forgiveness", Anne forgives Murphy, and the pair are transported outside of Silent Hill where Anne reports Murphy's death, allowing him to escape. In "Truth and Justice", Anne is also seen seeking revenge against Sewell by confronting him in his office. If Murphy kills Anne, the "Full Circle" and "Execution" endings reveal that Murphy did kill Coleridge. In "Full Circle", Murphy commits suicide out of guilt, only to awake in an Otherworld prison to relive the events again, observed by the Wheelman. In "Execution", Murphy is executed for the murder of Charlie by Sewell. If Anne kills Murphy, the "Reversal" ending has her awaken as a prison inmate in events mirroring scenes of Murphy in prison, with Murphy taking Sewell's role. A joke ending can be obtained that shows Murphy tunneling out of his cell, to be greeted on the other side by a party in his honor, with various characters from the game and series present.

A major study out of Denmark that sought to examine the efficacy of face masks at limiting the spread of COVID-19 has reportedly been rejected by multiple academic journals amid hints that the study found face coverings are not effective in protecting individuals from the coronavirus.

 

Masks have been among the most persistent and controversial flashpoints of the COVID-19 epidemic for months. Health officials around the world initially argued strongly against their use, claiming that studies over the years had demonstrated that masks were ineffective at stopping respiratory viruses and unnecessary for the current pandemic.

 

Dr. Anthony Fauci, for example, told CBS' "60 Minutes" in March: "Right now, in the United States, people should not be walking around with masks."

 

Growing concerns over a purportedly high rate of asymptomatic spread of COVID-19 led many of those same officials, including Fauci, to reverse their recommendations, urging people to wear masks whenever they go out in public.

 

Reflecting the new public sentiment on masks, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urges Americans to "wear masks in public settings, like on public and mass transportation, at events and gatherings, and anywhere they will be around other people."

 

Mandates by governors and national leaders over the past several months have further enforced those conclusions, with many public leaders issuing orders for citizens to don face coverings while in grocery stores, on public transport, and even in open outdoor areas such as public parks.

 

Danish study has reportedly been ready for months

 

In spite of their now-ubiquitous presence in most of the Western world today, relatively little evidence exists to support widespread use of face-masking to prevent the spread of respiratory disease. A 2019 World Health Organization review of pandemic mitigation measures, for instance, found "no evidence" that face coverings helped to stop the spread of influenza.

 

Whether or not studies on influenza transmission can apply to COVID-19 is unknown; the disease's relatively recent emergence means that scientific studies on it are in short supply. Studies can take many month to secure funding, develop methodologies, carry out experiments, interpret the findings, write a research paper and get it peer-reviewed and published.

 

To bridge that gap, a team of Danish scientists earlier this year sought to carry out a major randomized controlled trial study to determine how effective masks might be at stopping COVID transmission. The study, begun in April, involved around 6,000 Danish citizens, half of whom wore face coverings during "normal behavior" and the other half of whom went without them.

 

The study concluded in June. Yet the Copenhagen newspaper Berlingske reported this week that it has been rejected by at least three elite medical journals so far — the Lancet, the New England Journal of Medicine, and JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association.

 

"They all said no," Christian Torp-Pederson, one of the study's researchers, told the Danish newspaper this week. He added that the study's scientists "cannot start discussing what [the journals] are dissatisfied with, because in that case we must also explain what the study showed, and we do not want to discuss that until it is published."

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday spoke in defense of Hunter Biden after U.S. President Donald Trump accused him of engaging in business with Ukraine.

 

In a broadcast on Russian state TV, Putin responded to Trump's comments during the second presidential debate and said he "does not see anything criminal" about Hunter's dealings with Ukrainian companies, Reuters reported.

 

"Yes, in Ukraine he (Hunter Biden) had or maybe still has a business, I don't know. It doesn't concern us. It concerns the Americans and the Ukrainians," Putin said.

 

"But well yes he had at least one company, which he practically headed up, and judging from everything he made good money. I don't see anything criminal about this, at least we don't know anything about this being criminal," he added.

 

Putin also appeared visibly annoyed after being asked to comment about Trump's claims that Hunter received payment from the widow of Moscow's former mayor. Putin denied any knowledge of the incident, The Independent reported.

 

Trump's allegations came after a partisan investigation led by Senate GOPs alleged that a Russian businesswoman named Yelena Baturina sent $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton in 2014 as a payment to a "consultancy agreement." She later was identified as the former mayor's widow.

 

According to The Washington Post, Hunter Biden was the co-founder and CEO of an investment firm called Rosemont Seneca Advisors. It is unclear whether this firm is tied to Rosemont Seneca Thornton.

 

Hunter Biden's lawyer George Mesires said the Senate's allegations were false. He also dismissed claims that the Biden son co-founded the company in question.

 

"The Senate report falsely alleges that Hunter Biden had a financial relationship with Russian business executive Yelena Baturina and that he received $3.5 million from Baturina," Mesires said in an email.

The S-400 purchase has been a major issue in US-Turkey relations for months. The controversial procurement has resulted in Turkey’s exclusion from America’s F-35 fighter jet program, and the country has been threatened with additional restrictions. Ankara bought the S-400s from Russia as part of a $2.5 billion contract last year, and the systems are expected to become fully operational by the end of 2020.

In an acute exposure, methyl iodide is a pulmonary and dermal irritant, causing pulmonary edema and alkali burn. Characteristics of the poisoning are: delay in the onset of symptoms after an exposure to the chemical; renal failure, cerebellar and Parkinsonian symptoms, seizures and coma occurring in severe cases; and psychiatric disturbances like personality changes (sleeping problems, excitation, depression, delusions and hallucinations) and cognitive problems (memory, learning, language and cognitive reaction problems) that can last for months or even years [7].

 

A review of the documented cases shows that many patients had experienced chronic neurological syndromes characterized primarily by delayed psychiatric, behavioral and cognitive sequelae [8]. Some patients had purely psychiatric symptoms, while others had neurological deficits as well. Some patients had recovered fully in a course of months, while others had persistent symptoms. Our patient had a fairly rapid onset of neuropsychiatric symptoms presenting like a posterior circulation stroke. The acute onset could have been related to a large accidental exposure via inhalation of the chemical, although the quantity of such exposure is usually difficult to determine. An interesting laboratory marker, although non-specific, is a rise in lipid level as was observed in our patient [9].

 

Other poisons that may behave like methyl iodide in its neurotoxicity include monohalomethanes like methyl chloride and bromide, solvents like toluene (glue sniffing) and insecticides like organophosphates. The mechanism of toxicity is different for toluene and organophosphates. Cases of poisoning usually involve those who are part of the production and handling of these chemicals.

 

The accurate diagnosis of stroke depends on how accurate is our patient history obtained using clinical signs suggestive of an anatomical lesion in the part of the brain supplied by a blood vessel. Recent advances in imaging techniques, such as diffusion-weighted MRI, is accurate in supporting the diagnosis [10] in most of the cases reported. However, there is still no substitute for proper history taking and clinical examination.

Social media websites, including Reddit, have taken to censoring the sharing of an alleged Hunter Biden sex tape published on the platform of a Chinese media company connected to Steve Bannon.

 

Joe Biden’s son Hunter has become even more of a focus for critics after an alleged sex tape involving "crack" usage was published on Saturday night.

 

The video, along with several images, were put out through GTV, a subsidiary of GTV Media Group, which was founded in April of this year by Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui, a fugitive in China for fraud, and Steve Bannon, a former advisor to President Donald Trump.

 

Bannon's apparent link is notable as he's one of the people who reportedly has had access to the infamous hard drive allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden. The drive allegedly includes not only more sexually explicit and drug-use images, but also emails that suggest the former vice president was involved in foreign business dealings with his son while in office, something he has long claimed is not true.

 

Reportedly edited in the video is the text saying Joe Biden is “100% controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.”

 

Stories about Hunter’s alleged hard drive were already heavily censored on social media platforms, especially the original report from The New York Post, put together in cooperation with Bannon and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

 

This new ‘sex tape’ is now also being heavily censored, with some claiming even posts on Reddit simply discussing its content have been taken down. Multiple moderators of channels have reported to their users that they have been contacted by Reddit administrators about policing any content that shares any part of the video as it equates to “involuntary pornography,” which violates their content policies.

 

Moderators for the r/conspiracy channel warned their users about posting about the video and said even future posts related to the video will depend on “further instructions” from Reddit.

"When I left the United States Senate, I became a professor at the University of Pennsylvania," Biden said while taking questions from young Americans. "And I've spent a lot of time—and the University of Delaware has the Biden School as well, so I've spent a lot of time on campus with college students."

 

When Biden left the Senate in 2009…it was to become former President Obama’s vice president.

 

In 2017 he received a title from the University of Pennsylvania as “Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor," but according to local media and a former spokesperson, he never taught a class.

 

“We are thrilled to have Vice President Biden here at Annenberg,” Annenberg Dean Delli Carpini said in a statement. “Although he is not scheduled to teach a formal course at this time, we are certain that there will be opportunities for our students to benefit from his presence at Penn.”

 

In fact, a spokesperson for the former vice president said Biden won’t be teaching at all.

 

“He will not be teaching classes,” Biden spokesperson Kate Bedingfield told The Daily Pennsylvanian on Tuesday morning. Biden’s work with Penn will be based out of Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, Bedingfield added. (The Daily Pennsylvanian)

Military pact on intelligence sharing likely during Pompeo-Esper New Delhi visit

 

India and the U.S. are working to finalize a key military pact on geospatial cooperation during high-level talks set for Tuesday, as they intensify engagement with two other members of the so-called Quad grouping Australia and Japan to challenge what they see an increasingly assertive China in the Indo-Pacific region.

 

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Secretary of Defense Mark Esper will visit New Delhi to participate in the third edition of the 'India-U.S. 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue' with their counterparts S. Jaishankar and Rajnath Singh, respectively. Signifying the importance of the meeting is that the Americans are traveling to New Delhi just ahead of the Nov. 3 U.S. Presidential election and amid the coronavirus pandemic.

 

Both countries are the world's worst hit by COVID-19 with the U.S. having so far reported over 8.4 million infections and India more than 7.7 million. The dialogue "will entail a comprehensive discussion on crosscutting bilateral issues of mutual interest," India's external affairs ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said during a virtual media briefing on Thursday, adding that Pompeo and Esper will also jointly call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their two-day visit starting Monday.

 

While Srivastava did not mention specific issues that would come up during the talks, U.S. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Dean Thompson did. Speaking at a media briefing in Washington, Thompson said the dialogue "will focus on global cooperation, on pandemic response, and challenges in the Indo-Pacific: economic space and energy collaboration, people-to-people ties, and defense and security cooperation." The situation on the India-China border, where the neighbors have been engaged in a tense standoff for months, is also expected to be discussed, he added. BECA is the last of four agreements on military communication between the two countries and will help enhance interoperability and information sharing in relation to imagery and topographical and hydrological data, among others. The previous three covering areas including security and military information, logistics exchange and communications, compatibility and security were signed in 2002, 2016 and 2018, respectively.

 

"It seems the BECA is being signed so that might be just the highlight [of the 2+2 dialogue]," Harsh V. Pant, head of the strategic studies program at New Delhi-based think tank Observer Research Foundation, told Nikkei Asia, pointing out that the pact, which is specifically about geospatial intelligence, is coming at "a very critical time for India" when it has border problems with China. "The larger message that seems to be going out [is] you have elections in a week [in the U.S.] and yet here is America and India signing a very important pact," he said.

 

It is believed that BECA will allow India to use U.S. geospatial maps to improve the accuracy of its automated systems, as well as its cruise and ballistic missiles, thus aiding it in precisely targeting potential adversaries.
