Halliburton eliminates Venezuela staff after U.S. sanctions halt operations

 

Oilfield services provider Halliburton Co has eliminated all staff positions in Venezuela as a result of U.S. sanctions limiting its operations in the crisis-stricken OPEC nation, a spokeswoman for the company said on Thursday.

 

Washington in April limited the activities Halliburton - as well as rivals Schlumberger NV, Baker Hughes Co and Weatherford International Plc - could perform in Venezuela. The United States in 2019 sanctioned state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela as part of its push to oust President Nicolas Maduro.

 

Halliburton said at the time that it had halted its operations in Venezuela.

 

“We have zero headcount in Venezuela,” the spokeswoman said in an emailed message on Thursday, adding that the company will maintain a presence in Venezuela through equipment and facilities.

 

Halliburton, as well as most other major international oil services companies operating in Venezuela, had even before the sanctions significantly scaled back operations and written off hundreds of millions of dollars in assets and receivables due to operational issues at PDVSA, and late payments by the company.

The New Film “Seven”. Scientific Study of WTC Building 7

The new film Seven (trailer above), directed by Dylan Avery, examines the story of the scientific study of World Trade Center building 7 (WTC 7) recently published by the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The study was led by structural engineering professor J. Leroy Hulsey and took nearly five years to complete. It evaluated the possibilities for destruction of WTC 7 using two versions of high-tech computer software that simulated the structural components of the building and the forces that acted upon it on September 11th.

 

After inputting worst case conditions, and painstakingly eliminating what didn’t happen, Hulsey and his team of engineers came to the following conclusions:

 

The principal conclusion of our study is that fire did not cause the collapse of WTC 7 on 9/11, contrary to the conclusions of NIST and private engineering firms that studied the collapse. The secondary conclusion of our study is that the collapse of WTC 7 was a global failure involving the near-simultaneous failure of every column in the building.

 

These peer-reviewed conclusions directly contradict the findings of the U.S. government’s final investigation into WTC 7 as reported by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

 

Seven documents the journey of Professor Hulsey and his team from their introduction to the subject and the related evidence to the final publication of their report in March of this year. It is an interesting story and important for several reasons. First, it shows what an objective group of engineering science professionals will find if they look closely at the destruction of WTC 7. Additionally, it provides a great example of what one concerned citizen can do to make a great difference in shedding light on the truth of the events of September 11, 2001.

 

The concerned citizen, who was barely mentioned in the film, is John Thiel, a nurse anesthetist from Alaska. In 2010, Thiel began a 3-year process of looking for an engineer to conduct an honest scientific investigation into the destruction of WTC 7. Thiel was not a structural engineer, but he knew that the official reports on the destruction of that building were false and he wanted to do something about it. Ten years later, after contacting 150 engineers, finally finding and gaining Hulsey’s commitment to do it, and persuading Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth to get involved, Thiel’s persistence paid off.

Seattle man arrested after severed human limbs, heads found in Ariz. desert

PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Severed human limbs and heads found scattered in remote areas of Arizona were likely connected to a Seattle-based business that has recently closed, officials said.

 

The business, Future GenX, managed human cadavers for medical research before its closure. It was owned by Walter H. Mitchell, 59, of Seattle, who now is accused of discarding the human remains.

 

Mitchell was arrested Tuesday in Phoenix and then booked into the Yavapai County jail in Arizona, where he is being held on $250,000 bail.

 

The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office has accused Mitchell of dumping nearly 30 body parts believed to have been used for medical research on the outskirts of Prescott, Ariz. So far he has not been formally charged.

 

According to the sheriff's office, an investigation began after two human limbs were found last weekend off a rural road near the Prescott National Forest. A search of the area resulted in the discovery of 24 limbs, including detached arms and legs.

 

The next day, a hunter in the area reported finding two severed human heads. Deputies responded and a follow-up search revealed three more human heads.

 

Evidence collected at the scene ruled out the possibility of a serial killer and suggested that the remains were likely connected to a medical institution and intended for use in the educational and research field, the sheriff’s office said.

 

Investigators said the evidence was used to trace the remains to Mitchell’s Seattle business. Working with local law enforcement in Seattle, the sheriff’s office learned that Mitchell had left the city earlier this year with human remains belonging to five individuals, according to the sheriff's office.

 

“This situation is unimaginable, and I am so sorry for the families whose loved ones were donated to research and treated in such a horrific fashion,” outgoing Sheriff Scott Mascher said in a prepared statement. “I want to thank the community for their patience as we investigated this case and am very proud of our detectives, staff, and volunteers, for the work they did to identify and arrest the suspect so quickly.

 

Sheriff-elect David Rhodes also issued a statement: "The disrespect shown to the deceased in this case by those who were charged with caring for their remains is abhorrent and intolerable. Today's arrest is a big step in getting accountability and honor for those whose remains were so cavalierly treated."

BEIJING — China accused the U.S. of staging a show of force by sailing two Navy warships through the Taiwan Strait Wednesday.

 

The Navy said the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers John S. McCain and Curtis Wilbur “conducted a routine Taiwan Strait transit” in accordance with international law.

 

Their freedom of navigation operations “demonstrates the U.S. commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific,” the Navy said in a statement on its website.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) broke with his party's Senate leader Thursday, calling for a stand-alone vote on $2,000 stimulus checks.

 

"If you had a stand-alone vote on the $2,000 check, it might pass," Graham said while appearing on "Fox & Friends."

 

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has knocked the prospect of raising the stimulus checks that are going out to many Americans from $600 to $2,000, vowing the Senate would not pass a stand-alone bill increasing the amount. President Trump has pushed for the increase and the House passed one earlier this week, but most Senate Republicans are wary.

 

"The Senate is not going to be bullied into rushing out more borrowed money into the hands of Democrats' rich friends who don't need the help," McConnell said.

 

McConnell has offered a competing measure that would tie an increase in the checks to removing a legal shield for tech companies and creating a commission to examine the 2020 elections. But that proposal is viewed as a non-starter for Democrats.

 

Graham says McConnell is correct in saying that a stand-alone vote couldn't happen by Jan. 3. However, the new Congress begins that day at noon, and the vote stands a chance there.

 

That would mean, however, that the House would also need to pass its own bill again, as the existing approved measure would die when the current Congress ends.

 

"The new Congress, you could get a vote," Graham said. "I'd like a stand-alone vote in the new Congress on the $2,000 check."

 

Seven Republicans already said they would vote in favor of the increased checks, and five more would need to sign on to get it passed, Graham told "Fox & Friends."

How California Politicians Created a Homelessness Crisis

 

California has more homeless people than any other state, with large homeless tent camps occupying the sidewalks of many of its streets. California also has the second most expensive housing of all states, lagging only behind Hawaii.

 

Writing at the Washington Examiner, Timothy P. Carney wonders to what extent the state government’s regulatory environment is contributing to both problems.

 

Land-use regulations make housing more expensive. The Los Angeles metro area ranks as the 15th most restrictive in land-use regulation.

 

People who own houses in housing-restricted places often don’t want to deregulate. They like the space. They fear the traffic. And they know that adding more housing could harm their home values. Of course, preserving scarcity in housing to keep your housing investments valuable is not really something most people want to admit to, so they make other arguments.

 

They suggest that the regulations drive up home values not by curbing supply but by giving people what they want: green buildings, safe buildings, adequate parking, and uncrowded neighborhoods.

 

But the one study that has looked into this finds that more than 90% of the price effect of regulation comes not from making the homes more desirable but from limiting supply. So regulation is affecting the market mostly by preventing homes from being built.

 

That finding raises a question. How many regulations has California put in the way of building homes?

 

According to QuantGov, last year the state government of California imposed on businesses and residents a total of 395,503 restrictions, as defined by the number of times that words like “must”, “shall”, “required”, “prohibited”, and “may not” appear within the online version of the California Code of Regulations (CCR).

 

Not only is that number more than any other state, it is nearly 88,000 more than the number of similar government-mandated restrictions imposed by New York’s government agencies, the state that ranks second in this measure.

 

Within the CCR, California’s Building Standards Code (Title 24) contains more restrictions than any other section, totaling no fewer than 75,712 restrictions. At the same time, the section for Housing and Community Development (Title 25) contains 12,204 restrictions, the tenth largest of all sections (or titles) contained in the CCR.

 

Combined to total 88,186 regulatory restrictions, these two sections that effectively dictate what housing may be built in California account for over 22 percent of the total regulatory burden set by all the state’s government agencies.

Researchers at the renowned Cleveland Clinic say melatonin, a dietary supplement that is used as a sleep aid for people suffering from insomnia, could be employed to help prevent or treat COVID-19.

Military health system scientists may have found a promising lead on COVID-19 antibody treatment — lurking within the blood of a llama named Cormac.

 

Cormac, along with others of his kind, produces what researchers describe as "nanobodies," otherwise known as miniature antibodies that can reach where larger antibodies cannot. The tiny proteins appear to protect against COVID-19, and can be used in liquid or aerosol form to protect human lungs, scientists say.

 

"We hope that these anti-COVID-19 nanobodies may be highly effective and versatile in combating the coronavirus pandemic," said Dr. David Brody, who helped lead the study for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The organization he works for is a federal health sciences university and research facility within the Military Health System.

 

Animals in the camelid family — camels, alpacas, and llamas — produce nanobody proteins within their immune systems, the researchers said. The proteins weigh about one-tenth what most human antibodies weigh. Portions of the nanobodies work to repel microscopic invaders such as viruses and bacteria.

Investigation launched after California officer filmed punching police dog

 

Police in Vacaville, California have opened an internal investigation after a video of one of their officers seemingly pinning his K-9 partner to the ground and punching it in the face went viral online.

 

The video, which was filmed by a bystander, was posted online on Monday and appears to show the officer pinning the dog to the ground and hitting it in the face.

 

Robert Palomino, who recorded the footage, told The Vacaville Reporter that he was loading tools into his truck at a warehouse in Vaca Valley Parkway when he heard the dog yelping.

 

“It was crying like it was in pain, crying like someone ran over it or something,” he told the website.

 

Reluctant to confront the officer, Mr Palomino said he took out his phone and began recording the incident and later posted it online, hoping to bring attention to the incident.

 

He claimed that while the short clip only showed the officer hitting the dog once, he saw the dog get punched repeatedly before he began filming the clip.

 

“I was shocked. It got me completely confused. Never seen anything like that before,” he said. “He was beating his partner, his coworker, his best friend.”

 

The video quickly gained attention and sparked outrage on social media. In response, Vacaville police said they had opened an investigation into the incident.

 

Captain Matt Lydon told The Reporter that the department was alerted to the video on Monday and police said the investigation “is being evaluated in its entirety and will be investigated appropriately.”

 

“We understand how disturbing the video appears to many who view it and the range of emotions it creates,” they said in a statement.

 

However, the department also spoke in defence of the officer's actions, saying that the video didn’t “show the moments prior when the canine became aggressive towards his handler.”

 

Captain Lydon told The Reporter that the dog had refused to give up its toy and after the officer retrieved it the K-9 lunged and attempted to bite him.

 

“Although our canines appear to be pets, just like the ones we all have at home; they are quite different in many ways,” police said in the post on Facebook.

 

The captain said that the officer, who has not been identified by police, had no prior experience as a K-9 handler reportedly said the pairing had only been together three or four months.

 

In a later update on their Facebook page on Monday, authorities said that the canine involved in this incident has been removed from the care of his handler pending a thorough and complete investigation into the incident.

 

They also stipulated that the “canine has been examined at a Veterinarian office and shows no sign of distress or injury.”

 

Mr Palomino told The Reporter that he just hoped the dog was OK and “gets a better partner at least.”

 

“I just keep thinking, what did the dog do to deserve that?” he asked. “Does anyone deserve that?"

Chinese President Xi Jinping's regime has renewed efforts to instill patriotism in China's newest generation

A media blitz through social media and cartoons has proven more effective than older methods

Efforts have extended to higher education, where the CCP has strengthened its grip on university curriculums

 

China has a long history of focusing on the political education of new generations. Under the guidance of President Xi Jinping, however, the Chinese Communist Party has turned to social media and cartoons to instill sympathetic attitudes in the nation’s children.

 

Pro-China propaganda has become the norm in recent years. A multi-pronged effort to spread nationalistic sentiment across the internet has found great success through appealing imagery and sheer scale.

 

The Chinese Communist Youth League updated its practices in 2016, expanding onto more social media sites to focus on youth outreach. Its video account on Chinese social media platform Bilibili rivals that of CNN on YouTube, despite Bilibili’s comparatively small reach.

 

An example of the new style of propaganda is a children’s cartoon called Year Hare Affair, which depicts international events with a heavy pro-China bias using animals to represent countries. Cute Chinese rabbits are placed in opposition to the villainous American bald eagle, surprising him with the development of an atom bomb or foiling his plot to destabilize Hong Kong with the help of scheming cockroaches.

 

When Year Hare Affair was just an independent webcomic, its creator Lin Chao wasn’t sure the government would approve of media likely to inflame foreigners. That quickly changed after the first season garnered over 100 million views and the military and police stepped in to co-produce recent episodes.

 

The message is mostly simple to understand. Data indicates that basic narratives paired with good production value have worked for the CCP. A national study by researchers at Shanzi University indicated that those born after 1998 are more patriotic than previous generations.

 

An online survey of around 600 teens found words like “lucky” and “satisfied” to describe their Chinese upbringing in more than 90% of responses. It’s a marked departure from their parents and grandparents, many of whom viewed China as underdeveloped.

 

Higher learning institutions have also been co-opted to ensure that the pipeline of political education continues into adulthood. Universities have changed their charters to place loyalty to the party over all other priorities, and the government struck “independent thought” from the list of values schools are meant to instill under the Law for the Protection of Minors.

FBI Investigating The Destruction of 500 Doses Of The Moderna Vaccine

 

We have been discussing curious Covid-related offenses this year, but a Wisconsin controversy raises a particularly challenging such question. Advocate Aurora Health has admitted that an employee intentionally removed 57 vials of the Moderna vaccine from refrigeration. The intentional act, originally claimed to be accidental, resulted in the destruction of 500 doses of the potentially life-saying vaccine. Advocate Aurora Health said the employee was fired. However, an intentional destruction of the doses would seem the ultimate product tampering case: either compromised vaccines would be given patients or 500 people will have to wait longer for the protection from Covid-19. The FBI is reportedly investigating the incident. This would seem a serious offense in the midst of a pandemic.

 

The Justice Department has been investigating fraudulent Covid-19 vaccines or treatments. This is effective destruction of real vaccine. It is unclear whether it would be investigated as tampering. Section 1365 states: ''(a) Whoever, with reckless disregard for the risk that another person will be placed in danger of death or bodily injury and under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to such risk, tampers with any consumer product that affects interstate or foreign commerce, or the labeling of, or container for, any such product, or attempts to do so, shall—(1) in the case of an attempt, be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; (2) if death of an individual results, be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both; (3) if serious bodily injury to any individual results, be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both; and (4) in any other case, be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both. ''(b) Whoever, with intent to cause serious injury to the business of any person, taints any consumer product or renders materially false or misleading the labeling of, or container for, a consumer product, if such consumer product affects interstate or foreign commerce, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

 

Both section might apply to this circumstance.

This is a case where criminal prosecution would be the only effective deterrent. It is difficult for individuals to sue such defendants (or the hospital) due to the risk of contracting Covid-19 or even those who did contract the virus while waiting. We have recent negligence cases, including mistakingly giving a Covid treatment rather than the vaccine. Such errors are easier to address in civil litigation. One of the issues for the FBI will be whether the individual disclosed the tampering or was willing to have the compromised vaccine administered to patients. Even with such disclosure, however, there are 500 people who will have to wait longer for a vaccine in the midst of a national pandemic.

Europe and China yesterday signed a Comprehensive Agreement on Investment after seven years of negotiation. Why now? Representatives of the incoming Biden Administration tried and failed to stop the European Union from signing an investment treaty with China this week.

 

After seven years of often-stalled negotiations, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron pushed for a final agreement on the Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI) before the new US Administration takes office January 20.

 

A German government official, speaking on background, said that Europe wanted to present Washington with a fait accompli before the new administration could have a chance to exert pressure on the Europeans to keep a distance from China. China of course was on board for that.

 

“Members of the Biden team in Brussels campaigned against the deal with China in order to be able to exercise more pressure on China in future negotiations,” reported the center-right German daily Die Welt.

 

 

Deputy National Security Adviser Matthew Pottinger said, “Leaders in both U.S. political parties and across the U.S. government are perplexed and stunned that the EU is moving towards a new investment treaty right on the eve of a new U.S. administration.”

 

Perplexed? Germany now sells more to China than it does to the U.S., thanks to China’s economic snapback and America’s continued economic weakness. East Asia (not just China, but South Korea and Taiwan) crushed the pandemic in weeks, while we still can’t distribute the vaccine we have. Last month China signed the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership with fifteen other Asian countries, eliminating most tariffs on imports from Japan among others. U.S. economic importance is shrinking.

 

China has a $1.4 trillion, five-year budget to support high tech R&D and investment. China outspends us 10:1 on quantum computing research. China is determined to lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution–mobile broadband, quantum communications, quantum computing, Artificial Intelligence, self-programming industrial robots, self-regulating farms, autonomous vehicles, and so forth. It’s no wonder that Europe and Japan are cutting deals with China. China is where the market is, and, increasingly, where the technology is.

 

Beijing is using trade and investment deals with Europe and Japan to batter its own industry into shape, as I reported at Asia Times.

 

There’s a lot of talk from the Biden camp about multilateral diplomacy to shape up an alliance of democracies to contain China. It looks like the Biden administration has been made irrelevant before it takes office.

Fleming, as United States Attorney, is the top-ranking federal law enforcement official in the Eastern District of Missouri. The district serves 49 counties within three divisions – Northern, Eastern and Southern. The office is responsible for prosecuting federal crimes in the district, including crimes related to terrorism, public corruption, child exploitation, firearms and narcotics. The office also defends the United States in civil cases and collects debts owed to the United States.

 

In her time with the office, Fleming gained extensive legal experience prosecuting and supervising violent crime cases. Fleming most recently served as the office’s Appellate Chief.

 

Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Fleming was an associate at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. Fleming, who grew up in Charleston, Missouri, also clerked for the Honorable Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr. Fleming received her Bachelor’s of Accountancy from Mississippi State University and her law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

Federal Judge Leslie Abrams Gardner, Stacey Abrams' sister, Georgia has ruled that a Georgia county can require some voters to cast provisional ballots with just five days left until election day.

 

Roughly 4,000 voters in Muscogee County are facing eligibility challenges. Judge Gardner originally issued a restraining order against the county against forcing the voters to use provisional ballots.

 

Now the judge has overruled her previous restraining order, allowing the county to force the potential voters to submit provisional ballots, Politico reports.

 

Gardner also ruled, however, that the eligibility of these voters cannot be challenged solely using the National Change of Address Registry.

 

"The challenge to their eligibility will not be sustained absent specific evidence of ineligibility," she wrote.

 

She also required that any voters considered ineligible have the right to challenge such eligibility requirements until Jan. 8, three days after the Jan. 5 Senate elections.

 

Republicans have expressed frustration that Gardner, an Obama appointee, did not recuse herself from the case given her close relationship with Stacey Abrams, a prominent Democratic politician in the state. Abrams ran unsuccessfully for governor in 2018, losing by a narrow margin. She blamed her loss on voter suppression.

 

The ruling is a partial victory for Republicans when compared to the previous restraining order. The county board of elections praised the decision.

 

"The Muscogee County Board of Elections is pleased that Judge Abrams Gardner's Order dissolves the previous temporary restraining order and allows the Muscogee County Board of Elections and Registration to resume the use of provisional ballots and its adjudication of the election challenge," the county board of elections said.

 

Majority Forward, a Democratic-aligned organization, praised the ruling as a "victory over voter suppression."

The four caravan routes start in Boston; Lansing, Michigan; Nashville, Tennessee; and Gadsden, Alabama. The Michigan and Massachusetts caravans plan to converge in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, before heading to Washington via Maryland. OPINION | MIKE MASTERSON: My actual words

Sadly enough, I've come to expect some folks in this deeply divided nation to attack, even condemn, others they believe oppose their beliefs. That's been the case over the past week as several continuing letters to the editor misrepresented the thrust of my recent column about former Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne's interview with One American News Network over his cybersecurity team's findings on results of the 2020 presidential election.

• One accused me of "drowning" in Trump Kool-Aid. Others said I should retire. These letters were needlessly ugly and didn't fit with what I actually wrote about Byrne's interview, which circulated widely on social media. Gosh knows, I'm well accustomed to public chastising after 50 years practicing this craft. It goes with the territory for we who regularly express opinions in the public arena.

But allow me to set the record straight in this instance

• Nowhere did I say I agreed with Byrne's contentions about what he and his team of cybersecurity experts supposedly discovered.

• Instead, I found Byrne's interview intriguing, especially in light of the much-debated results of this election and felt rational readers could watch the report and determine for themselves whether they believed him.

• Today I return to that column to review pertinent sentences I actually did write about Byrne's interview. Relevant phrases are in italics: "In light of the tabulation mess our country continues to endure in this November's presidential election, the need for a trustworthy system of honestly and accurately counting our legitimate votes is crucial if we hope to maintain faith in the process. …

• "If I remained involved in investigative reporting for a living, I'd be digging deeply into the publicized election findings by an eccentric libertarian millionaire. "Employing a team of computer hackers and specialists, Patrick M. Byrne, former CEO of Overstock.com with advanced degrees from Cambridge and Stanford, is investigating the results of the 2020 election and programming of the controversial Dominion voting machines.

• "Byrne also explores tactics he contends were used to illicitly count specific battleground states. Meanwhile, Dominion denies any allegations of wrongdoing. "It's beyond disappointing to me that major news organizations haven't reported on Byrne's information and either debunked the findings or proven them true, which would potentially expose the greatest scandal in the history of American politics. Ignoring Byrne won't make the issue go away.

• "I strongly recommend every citizen should watch OAN's interview with Byrne, then draw your own conclusions. "All I ask is someone with the capacity and/or authority inform me whether Byrne and his team have created a massive lie or discovered the truth. "Honest vote tabulations matter to all, considering the foundation of our republic rests on the bedrock of honest elections. My biggest question now is which federal agency or special legal appointee is responsible for objectively investigating Byrne's findings, along with Trump's allegations."These critical allegations can't remain unresolved to fester and metastasize."

• "What does this mess all amount to going forward? Well, our state and national politicians who created and condoned a plan where votes still are being counted weeks afterwards must provide accountability and answers while implementing a trustworthy election system to restore integrity. "Either this happens, or millions of Americans frustrated and angered by this year's methods may never regain faith in our election results, regardless of their outcome."

• Does it sound like I'm ballyhooing here for the president or for establishing election integrity? Well, clearly my thoughts weren't expressed clearly enough for some readers who chose to accuse me of journalistic crime for daring to even point out Byrne's interview and his contentions. I apologize if lack of clarity for some was the case. Some letter-writers also attacked Byrne's character as supposedly a noncredible partisan while others questioned his motives (he says he's a devoted libertarian whose never voted for Trump or Biden).

• My focus was solely on what he claimed he and his team discovered and whether his contentions were legitimate. I didn't question the messenger (OAN) any more than I would have if it was CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC or Fox. That news organization felt he was legitimate enough to air his reported findings. If this man with exceptional resources and educational credentials was willing to go on record in such And I do own several pair of tattered big-boy pants. Now go out into the world and treat everyone you meet exactly like you want them to treat you.

Hospital is KILLING MY COVID POSITIVE mother right now as we speak!

 

Assisted Living Facility (ALF) food tray deliverer tested positive. All residents tested last week. My mom only one positive. ALF ships her by ambulance to over-run hospital with no available beds and ABANDONS HER

 

She isn't allowed to go back to ALF until she tests negative yet they have allowed 2 or 3 positive residents stay and convalesce at 'home' at the ALF. My mom is on daily nebulizer so they say she can't be at ALF because it carries the virus in the droplets and needs negative pressure room to administer etc.

 

Total bullshit….CDC has in FAQ on their site nebulizer isn't Aerosol Generating Procedure.

 

Mom is asymptomatic so she doesn't need hospital and hospital won't admin. MOM IS IN LIMBO Hospital won't give her any of her daily drugs either. Mom has now been sitting in this limbo state at over-run ER over 24 hrs now without receiving her life-saving heart meds. THEY ARE JUST LETTING HER DIE AND NO SHE ISN'T GETTING ANY OF THE GREAT THERAPEUTICS FOR COVID THAT POTUS AND GIULIANI RECEIVED!
