The Second Amendment of the US Constitution applies to β€œhearth and home” and not the public square, the Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled, upholding a Hawaii practice of limiting open-carry licenses to security guards.

 

In a 7-4 ruling after the full bench review of the Young v Hawaii case, the majority argued that β€œthere is no right to carry arms openly in public; nor is any such right within the scope of the Second Amendment.”

 

The famous gun rights provision of the US Constitution applies to β€œdefense of hearth and home,” the majority argued, while the government has the power to β€œregulate carrying arms in the public square.”

 

Neal Katyal, who served in the Obama administration as the acting solicitor general and was one of the attorneys for Hawaii in the case, celebrated the ruling.

 

The National Rifle Association (NRA), which was not involved in the litigation, said the ruling amounted to banning both open and concealed carry of weapons in Alaska, Hawaii, California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington and Montana – states under the jurisdiction of the 9th Circuit – adding that it is β€œexploring all options to rectify this.”

 

Plaintiff George Young sued Hawaii in 2011, after he was denied a permit to carry a gun under state law and Hawaii County regulations. He argued that, as applied, the law effectively permitted only security guards to openly carry guns, which was violating the Second Amendment's prohibition on infringing β€œthe right of the people to keep and bear arms.”

 

Four of the 11 judges sided with Young, saying that the Hawaii law and regulations β€œdestroy the core right to carry a gun for self-defense outside the home and are unconstitutional under any level of scrutiny.”

 

Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain called the ruling β€œunprecedented as it is extreme” and said that the majority β€œundermines not only the Constitution’s text, but also half a millennium of Anglo-American legal history,” two major US Supreme Court decisions, and β€œthe foundational principles of American popular sovereignty itself.”

 

The majority argued that early American colonists brought with them β€œEnglish sensibilities over the carrying of arms in public” and that technology has not changed that. Then as now, the β€œmere presence” of guns β€œpresents a terror to the public” and the β€œwidespread carrying of handguns would strongly suggest that state and local governments have lost control of our public areas,” they wrote.

 

The ruling comes amid a renewed push by the Democrat-majority Congress and the White House administration to enact stricter gun control measures, whether by law or executive fiat. On Tuesday, President Joe Biden pointed to the shooting attack at a Boulder, Colorado grocery store that left 10 people dead to argue for bringing back the 1994 federal β€œassault weapons” ban.

 

The week before, Democrats and the media called for stricter gun laws after a 21-year-old in Atlanta, Georgia targeted massage parlors in a shooting spree. The media and Democrats portrayed the attack as driven by hate against Asian Americans, but the suspect said his motivation was sexual in nature.

 

Even before the two incidents, Biden had called for more gun control in a speech on the anniversary of the February 14, 2018 shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school.

Yeah I won't be doing anything for money. What I'd like to do is get a nice van and travel and teach who's left how to use their own body's energy and how to tap into those things within. So what happened?

 

Like most such efforts, Medium’s renewed push into original journalism in 2018 was greeted with optimism by the reporters and editors who were hired to build the project out. One editor recounted to me the joy at being told they could pay freelancers $1 a word β€” more than they had been able to pay at previous jobs.

 

The company launched publications including OneZero, for tech; Elemental, for health; and Zora, for Black and brown women. Over the next two years, much of its fresh, insightful journalism would be acclaimed by an industry beleaguered by layoffs. At OneZero, Matt Stroud revealed that the CEO of a tech company backed by SoftBank had once been a neo-Nazi, leading to the CEO’s departure from the company; β€œThe Zora Canon,” a list of the best books written by African American women, earned coverage everywhere from NPR to the New York Public Library.

 

PUBLICATION BUDGETS WERE CUT β€” AND THEN CUT AGAIN, AND AGAIN

The push into original reporting was rewarded with strong growth in paid subscriptions, current and former staffers said. But journalism was rarely at the center of the company’s marketing efforts. Employees expressed frustration that the company did so little to promote their work, hampering efforts to grow their publications’ brands β€” particularly during the crucial early months in which readers were forming impressions of them. Publications often had only skeletal branding or visual design; some β€œlaunched” before their editors-in-chief had even been hired. (On the other hand, I’m told, Medium’s public relations team exclusively promoted owned and operated publications, as did its social media accounts.)

 

With millions of dollars sunk into the effort, Medium’s push into journalism represented a significant investment. But individual publications often got little attention β€” and what resources they did get began shrinking within months. It was too much, and too little, all at once. β€œWe were set up to fail,” a former employee told me.

 

This was particularly true for publications that, like Zora and its sister publication Level, sought to break Medium out of its Silicon Valley bubble and reach more diverse audiences. Most of the company’s readers look like Williams: 71 percent are white, 55 percent are male, and 53 percent make more than $100,000 a year, according to internal numbers shared with me. Employees had pushed for improved diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace at least since 2018, when a white former executive repeatedly rapped the N-word during a performance of the Notorious B.I.G.’s β€œBig Poppa” during a company karaoke outing. The matter was investigated, and the executive eventually apologized and stayed on.

 

Staffers believed it would take both significant promotion and time to reach audiences outside Medium’s mostly white Silicon Valley core. But in the end they would receive neither.

 

Last year β€” barely 12 months into the experiment β€” Williams had already grown uncomfortable with the cost of the team he had just built. Paid subscriptions, which had been on the rise, flatlined in 2020. Publication budgets were cut β€” and then cut again, and again. Editors who were lured to Medium on the promise of being able to build out full-fledged publications were suddenly begging for enough money to pay for a handful of freelance stories a week.

 

β€œWE’RE BETTER THAN SUBSTACK, WE HAVE MORE INTEGRITY, WE’RE MORE UP FRONT ABOUT OUR BUSINESS MODEL”

The rest of their β€œpublications” would comprise posts written on spec by an army of self-serve freelancers who uploaded their work to the platform in hopes it would be selected by an editor for promotion. This program, called β€œAmplify,” has become a core pillar of Williams’ vision for the future. Instead of paying full-time salaries and benefits to staff, Williams can use Amplify to get the content he wants at a fraction of the cost.

 

Amplify’s writers are paid a small and essentially random fraction of subscription revenue, based on how many people read their story. In theory their financial upside is unlimited, but in practice the program pays almost no one a living wage. A venture capitalist bragged to me that he had made $25,000 on Amplify over the past 11 months β€” a great sum for a side hustle, but barely enough to make the rent for most writers. Certainly it could not compete with the advances offered by the upstart newsletter platform Substack, which captivated the media’s attention last year as a series of staff writers for large publications, myself included, left their jobs to write newsletters on the platform. Opinions vary on how threatened Williams feels by Substack, but managers often bragged about Medium’s superiority as a place to work, employees said. β€œInternally it has always been messaged as, β€˜we’re better than Substack, we have more integrity, we’re more up front about our business model,’” one current staffer told me.

 

Still, Medium had an answer to Substack in a program codenamed Hopscotch. Medium would pay advances to high-profile writers including the New Yorker’s Susan Orlean and antitrust crusader Tim Wu to encourage them to post regularly on the platform. As with its journalism, Medium did not market the program’s existence or the writing of the participants, and it’s unclear whether Williams considers it a success. Advances paid Medium appeared to be significantly smaller than Substack offered; one source told me Orlean was paid $25,000 to write occasionally on the platform, compared to the $250,000 that Substack gave Matt Yglesias and a small number of other high-profile writers.

 

TRAFFIC SUCCESSES CAME FROM SEARCH ENGINES AND SOCIAL NETWORKS

Williams’ investment in Amplify and Hopscotch reflected a growing interest in what he calls β€œrelational media” β€” one-on-one relationships between readers and writers, mediated by the platform. In his view, relational media poses a challenge to traditional, publication-based journalism β€” a reason he would ultimately give for offering buyouts to his reporters. β€œThe role of publications β€” in the world, not just on Medium β€” has decreased in the modern era,” Williams wrote.

 

But Williams had other reasons for his declining interest in staff-led publications. Last year, aware of their sites’ budget cuts and fearful for a repeat of Medium’s 2015 layoffs, members began organizing. Williams took the initiative personally, colleagues said, and believed that a union would make the company less nimble and effective as it worked to become sustainable.

 

Worse, the data suggested that Medium’s original journalism was not converting free readers to paid subscribers. Surprisingly, what seemed to convert readers most reliably were random stories on the digital content farm that had sprung up around its high-gloss publications.

 

People were largely not finding these stories from journalists or even from Medium’s own recommendation algorithms, which staffers said were ineffective in predictably driving traffic. Instead, like most publications in the platform era, Medium’s traffic successes came from search engines and social networks.

 

β€œHits would be made either because we managed to get a prime spot on Google or because something made it big on Facebook,” a former employee who worked on the tech platform told me.

The original idea behind Medium going all the way back to 2012 was that professionally written stories would create a β€œhalo” around the much larger body of user-generated content, enough to give the entire site a premium feel β€” and eventually, one that Williams could charge a subscription fee for. But by the end of 2020, the journalism didn’t feel like a halo β€” it felt like an albatross. And so the journalists were offered buyouts. (And generous ones, by the standards of American journalism: five months of severance pay, and six months of healthcare.)

But to many of the journalists, the news came as a surprise. Employees had gotten mixed messages about which metrics they should use to evaluate their own performance. Traffic? Paid conversions? Something else? Often they were told not to think about any of it. Just do your jobs, they were told, and everything will be fine.

 

β€œThey believed if you write it, they will come,” one employee told me. β€œAnd it never worked that way.”

 

Medium is far from the only company to tell its journalists to ignore the traffic generated by their stories while managers monitor it obsessively in the background. But it created an environment in which reporters were confused about how they, or their publications, would ultimately be judged β€” leaving them vulnerable to being blindsided when the end finally came.

Ultimately,Ultimately, employees said, responsibility for the events of the past year belonged to Williams, the company’s 48-year-old CEO and one of the few constants at the company since its founding.

 

Few startups have an easy path to success, and media in particular is a notoriously difficult business. Just today, digital culture publication MEL laid off its entire staff. Some staffers told me they appreciated the opportunity Williams had given them during a turbulent time, and said he had granted them impressive creative freedom and significant financial resources with which to do their journalism.

 

WHAT ONCE HAD BEEN PUBLICATIONS ARE NOW LIKELY BETTER THOUGHT OF AS TOPIC PAGES

Staffers who worked on Medium’s core technology platform generally had less positive things to say. Williams was prone to change his mind often, seemingly on a whim, they said, making software development difficult. The product roadmap over the years looks like a series of blind alleys: in 2019, a take on Snapchat stories; last June, a refreshed newsletter platform; in January, an acquisition of an e-book publisher.

 

In his blog post, Williams said he β€œcan see more focused, high-affinity publications working well as part of the Medium bundle.” But staffers I spoke with at Medium’s existing publications largely do not expect them to survive, at least in their current form. A skeleton crew of editors will likely be kept on to promote user-generated posts to the relevant sites; what once had been publications are now likely better thought of as topic pages.

 

Meanwhile, the company will continue to rely on Google and Facebook traffic to generate hits it can convert into paid subscribers. The acquisition of the e-book publisher, Glose, is intended to create a bigger library of β€œevergreen” content on Medium that will drive more traffic to the site via search engines. Media Twitter does not hate Substack because it’s pretending to be a platform when it’s a publisher; they don’t hate it because it’s filled with anti-woke white guys; they don’t hate it because of harassment or any such thing. I don’t think they really hate it at all. Substack is a small and ultimately not-very-relevant outpost in a vastly larger industry; they may not like it but it’s not important enough for them to hate it. What do they hate? They hate where their industry is and they hate where they are within their industry. But that’s a big problem that they don’t feel like they can solve. If you feel you can’t get mad at the industry that’s impoverishing you, it’s much easier to get mad at the people who you feel are unjustly succeeding in that industry. Trying to cancel Glenn Greenwald (again) because he criticizes the media harshly? Trying to tarnish Substack’s reputation so that cool, paid-up writer types leave it and the bad types like me get kicked off? That they can maybe do. Confronting their industry’s future with open eyes? Too scary, especially for people who were raised to see success as their birthright and have suddenly found that their degrees and their witheringly dry one-liners do not help them when the rent comes due.

Life in the β€œcontent” industry already sucks. A small handful of people make bank while the vast majority hustle relentlessly just to hold on to the meager pay they already receive. There are staff writers at big-name publications who produce thousands of words every week and who make less than $40,000 a year for their trouble. There are permanent employees of highly prestigious newspapers and magazines who don’t receive health insurance. Venues close all the time. Mourning another huge round of layoffs is a regular bonding experience for people in the industry. Writers have to constantly job hop just to try and grind out an extra $1,500 a year, making their whole lives permanent job interviews where they can’t risk offending their potential bosses and peers. Many of them dream of selling that book to save themselves financially, not seeming to understand that book advances have fallen 40% in 10 years - median figure now $6,080 - and that the odds of actually making back even that meager advance are slim, meaning most authors are making less than minimum wage from their books when you do the math. They have to tweet constantly for the good of their careers, or so they believe, which amounts to hundreds of hours of unpaid work a year. Their publications increasingly strong arm them into churning out pathetic pop-culture ephemera like listicles about the outfits on Wandavision. They live in fear of being the one to lose out when the next layoffs come and the game of media musical chairs spins up once again. They have to pretend to like ghouls like Ezra Klein and Jonah Peretti and make believe that there’s such a thing as β€œthe Daily Beast reputation for excellence.”

 

I have always felt bad for them, despite our differences, because of these conditions. And they have a right to be angry. But they don’t have much in the way of self-awareness about where their anger really lies. A newsletter company hosting Bari Weiss is why you can’t pay your student loans? You sure?

 

They’ll tell you about the terrible conditions in their industry themselves, when they’re feeling honest. So what are they really mad about? That I’m making a really-just-decent guaranteed wage for just one year? Or that this decent wage is the kind of money many of them dream of making despite the fact that, in their minds, they’ve done everything right and played by all the rules? Is their anger really about a half-dozen guys whose writing you have to actively seek out to see? (If you click the button and put in your email address, you’ll get these newsletters. If you don’t, you won’t. So if you’re a media type who hates my writing, consider just… not clicking that button.) Or do they need someplace to put the rage and resentment that grows inside them as they realize, no, it’s not getting better, this is all I get?

 

It’s true that I have, in a very limited way, achieved the new American dream: getting a little bit of VC cash. I’m sorry. But it’s much much less than one half of what Felix Salmon was making in 2017 and again, it’s only for one year.

 

You think the writers complaining in that piece I linked to at the top wanted to be here, at this place in their career, after all those years of hustling? You think decades into their media career, the writers who decamped to Substack said to themselves β€œyou know, I’d really like to be in my 40s and having to hope that enough people will pitch in $5 a month so I can pay my mortgage”? No. But the industry didn’t give them what they felt they deserved either. So they displace and project. They can hate Jesse Singal, but Jesse Singal isn’t where this burning anger is coming from. Neither am I. They’re so angry because they bought into a notoriously savage industry at the nadir of its labor conditions and were surprised to find that they’re drifting into middle age without anything resembling financial security. I feel for them as I feel for all people living economically precarious lives, but getting rid of Substack or any of its writers will not do anything to fix their industry or their jobs. They wanted more and they got less and it hurts. This isn’t what they dreamed. That’s what this is really about.

What makes this niche platform worthy of a week-long media meltdown? They’ll suggest that this is about the political impact of Substack. What political impact? The combined influence of the writers they’re attacking is small. The combined audience of the writers they’re attacking is small. The combined wages of the writers they’re attacking is small. Substack is a tiny company that 99% of Americans have never heard of. The conservative media is immense and well-funded and more equipped to survive economic downturns than the progressive media. And that world is filled with people who actually, openly believe the terrible things we’re falsely accused of believing. They’re the ones endangering vulnerable groups. They come into the homes of a huge swath of the country and spread hateful propaganda. Why on earth would you invest 5 minutes of your anger on me, when Breitbart exists? What rational sense does that make?

 

My own deal here is not mysterious. It’s just based on a fact that the blue checks on Twitter have never wanted to accept. I got offered money to write here for the same reason I got offered to write for The New York Times and Harper’s and The Washington Post and The LA Times, the same reason I’ve gotten a half-dozen invitations to pitch since I started here a few weeks ago, the same reason a literary agent sought me out and asked me to write a book, the same reason I sold that book for a decent advance: because I pull traffic. Though I am a social outcast from professional opinion writing, I have a better freelance publishing history than many, many of my critics who are paid-up, obedient members of the media social scene. Why? Because the editors who hired me thought I was a great guy? No. Because I pull traffic. I always have. That’s why you’re reading this on Substack right now.

 

I’ve been given opportunities because I’ve proved profitable to media businesses and like all businesses media businesses only care about profit. The important question for my critics should thus be why I’ve been successful in the ideas market when I represent the rejection of many of their values. Since the line between professional and personal relationships has completely collapsed in the industry, media people think that any professional success must represent an endorsement of the writer as a person. (The question they ask about me is often β€œhow did a guy nobody likes get published everywhere,” betraying the assumption that being well-liked should be the only criterion for getting published.) But popularity has nothing to do with me consistently getting work in the industry. I turn writing into clicks and clicks into cash. That’s not complicated.

Nor is it complicated how I’ve generated a public reputation. It never seems to occur to them that constantly having Twitter meltdowns about me raised my profile in ways I never could have accomplished without their help. You think Substack would have even heard of me if I only did what I spend most of my writing time doing, producing long ruminative essays about education policy or obscure books or the psychic wounds of 21st century culture? If you’re mad that I’m getting economic opportunity now, why did you play my game over and over again for the past 12 years1?

 

I have no idea if I’ll stay at Substack after this year. If the money is still good, I probably will. If it’s not, I probably won’t. If the Twitter hive succeeds in getting a purge going that gets me kicked off the platform, that’s cool too. I’ll just do other things. Whether I am allowed to serve out the length of my contract with Substack will have absolutely no impact on the integrity of the news industry or its finances. So, again: who are you really mad at? Me? What do I have to do with your broken industry? Why are you constantly tweeting about Substack and not the private equity creeps who are destroying your livelihood?

 

A really important lesson to learn, in life, is this: your enemies are more honest about you than your friends ever will be. I’ve been telling the blue checks for over a decade that their industry was existentially fucked, that the all-advertising model was broken, that Google and Facebook would inevitably hoover up all the profit, that there are too many affluent kids fresh out of college just looking for a foothold in New York who’ll work for next to nothing and in doing so driving down the wages of everyone else, that their mockery of early subscription programs like Times Select was creating a disastrous industry expectation that asking your readers directly for money was embarrassing. Trump is gone and the news business is cratering. Michael Tracey didn’t make that happen. None of this anger will heal what’s wrong. If you get all of the people you don’t like fired from Substack tomorrow, what will change? How will your life improve? Greenwald will spend more time with his hottie husband and his beloved kids and his 6,000 dogs in his beautiful home in Rio. Glenn will be fine. How do we do the real work of getting you job security and a decent wage?

 

Who’s your real enemy? Me? Matt Taibbi? Or your boss, your employer, your industry, your economy, your country? Think it over, really. I have much, much more sympathy for the average writer or journalist than people would think. It’s an important profession and many of them individually, when you peel them off from the pack, are lovely people. I hope all of them get financial stability, including the ones who constantly scream about me online. (Even Noah Blatarsky.) I want media to be healthier than it is, financially and otherwise. I want media workers to have higher pay and better benefits and more job security and powerful unions. In part because if they did they’d be more independent and media desperately needs more independence.

 

But how do things get better in that way? Only through real self-criticism (which Twitter makes impossible) and by asking hard questions. Questions like one that has not been credibly confronted a single time in this entire media meltdown: why are so many people subscribing to Substacks? What is the traditional media not providing that they’re seeking elsewhere? Why have half a million people signed up as paying subscribers of various Substack newsletters, if the establishment media is providing the diversity of viewpoints that is an absolute market requirement in a country with a vast diversity of opinions? You can try to make an adult determination about that question, to better understand what media is missing, or you can read this and write some shitty joke tweet while your industry burns to the ground around you. It’s your call.

Substack might fold tomorrow, but someone would else sell independent media; there’s a market. Substack might kick me and the rest of the unclean off of their platforms tomorrow, but other critics of social justice politics would pop up here; there’s a market. Establishment media’s takeover by this strange brand of academic identity politics might grow even more powerful, if that’s even possible, but dissenters will find a place to sell alternative opinion; there’s a market. What there might not be much of a market for anymore is, well, you - college educated, urban, upwardly striving if not economically improving, woke, ironic, and selling that wokeness and that irony as your only product. Because you flooded the market. Everyone in your entire industry is selling the exact same thing, tired sarcastic jokes and bleating righteousness about injustices they don’t suffer under themselves, and it’s not good in basic economic terms if you’re selling the same thing as everyone else. You add that on to structural problems within your business model and your utter subservience to a Silicon Valley that increasingly hates you, well…. I get why you’re mad. And I get that you don’t like me. But I’m not what you’re mad about. Not really.

 

In the span of a decade or so, essentially all professional media not explicitly branded as conservative has been taken over by a school of politics that emerged from humanities departments at elite universities and began colonizing the college educated through social media. Those politics are obscure, they are confusing, they are socially and culturally extreme, they are expressed in a bizarre vocabulary, they are deeply alienating to many, and they are very unpopular by any definition. The vast majority of the country is not woke, including the vast majority of women and people of color. How could it possibly be healthy for the entire media industry to be captured by any single niche political movement, let alone one that nobody likes? Why does no one in media seem willing to have an honest, uncomfortable conversation about the near-total takeover of their industry by a fringe ideology?

 

And the bizarre assumption of almost everyone in media seems to have been that they could adopt this brand of extreme niche politics, in mass, as an industry, and treat those politics as a crusade that trumps every other journalistic value, with no professional or economic consequences. They seem to have thought that Americans were just going to swallow it; they seem to have thought they could paint most of the country as vicious bigots and that their audiences would just come along for the ride. They haven’t. In fact Republicans are making great hay of the collapse of the media into pure unapologetic advocacy journalism. Some people are turning to alternative media to find options that are neither reactionary ideologues or self-righteous woke yelling. Can you blame them? Substack didn’t create this dynamic, and neither did I. The exact same media people who are so angry about Substack did, when they abandoned any pretense to serving the entire country and decided that their only job was to advance a political cause that most ordinary people, of any gender or race, find alienating and wrong. So maybe try and look at where your problems actually come from. They’re not going away.

 

Now steel yourselves, media people, take a shot of something strong, look yourself in the eye in the mirror, summon you most honest self, and tell me: am I wrong?

Actor Houston Tumlin, who played young Walker Bobby opposite Will Ferrell’s Ricky Bobby in β€œTalladega Nights,” has died at 28 by suicide, TMZ has reported.

 

Tumlin, who lived in Pelham, Alabama, took his own life with a gunshot to the head at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans.

 

His girlfriend, whose identity was not disclosed, was reportedly inside the home at the time of death.

 

No letter or indication of intended suicide has been found.

 

Tumlin’s role as the foul-mouthed 10-year-old son of a race car driver in 2006’s β€œTalladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” is his only acting credit.

 

Just a month ago, he shared a fond memory of the film with his co-star and fellow child actor Grayson Russell. β€œ@graysoncrussell tell me a set of β€˜brothers’ more handsome. I’ll wait,” he wrote on his Instagram page.

As an adult, he served in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky., according to TMZ, as well as other professions.

 

Major Geoffrey Carmichael, 37, was his Company Commander in Echo Company, 5th Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division from 2015 to 2016 and told The Post his last interaction with him was 2019 when he wrote him a job recommendation.

β€œDuring my time as Houston’s commander, I knew him to be caring, funny, and always wanting to try his best because he never wanted to disappoint,” Carmichael said. β€œHis celebrity status was never the source of what drew people to him. People didn’t want to be his friend because he was in a movie. People loved him because he was a good person. He was genuine. He was a professional and came to work ready to try hard and give us his best.”

President Emmanuel Macron announced last summer that the 96-meter (315 ft) spire would be reconstructed as originally designed by Eugene Viollet-le-Duc in the 19th century, launching the hunt for the 1,000 oaks required to build the spire and the frame of the cathedral's transept. "It's exceptional," Aymeric Albert, the forestry commission's commercial director, said of the sawn trunk of one-rod-straight 200-year-old oak. "It's perfectly straight and without any internal defects."

The trunk was large enough for an 18-metre long beam that will help support the weight of the spire, he said.

 

The trees that will be taken from the Domaine de Berce, near Le Mans, were identified at the beginning of the year and must all be chopped down before the end of March before the sap rises and the wood contains too much moisture.

The trunks, each of which are worth about 15,000 euros ($17,800), will be laid to dry for 12 to 18 months before being cut into shape.

 

The cathedral's original roof contained so many oak beams it was called "la foret" (the forest).

Albert said the selected trunks were the "perfect result" from two centuries of skilled work in a forest that previously supplied timber to the French navy."Now we'll leave room for a new generation of oaks which in 200 years will create the same forest we see today," he said.

The documents in these images were found in trash receptacles outside of Dekalb County election facilities after the inauguration of Joe Biden on Jan 20th of this year.

 

Dekalb County, GA is breaking the law as the possibility of audits and inspection of ballots from the Nov 3rd U.S. general election and the Jan 5th Senate runoff in Georgia become more likely. Multiple legal challenges are working their way through the courts to the massive election fraud executed in the Peach State last election cycle.

 

Today a Gwinnett County court looks to be forcing ballot images to be presented in a non-partisan election suit. A court in Henry County is accepting a plan tomorrow by VoterGA.org for an audit of the ballots in Fulton County from the general election.

 

Federal election law states: Every officer of election shall retain and preserve, for a period of twenty-two months from the date of any general, special, or primary election of which candidates for the office of President, Vice President, presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, or Resident Commissioner from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico are voted for, all records and papers which come into his possession relating to any application, registration, payment of poll tax, or other act requisite to voting in such election, except that, when required by law, such records and papers may be delivered to another officer of election and except that, if a State or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico designates a custodian to retain and preserve these records and papers at a specified place, then such records and papers may be deposited with such custodian, and the duty to retain and preserve any record or paper so deposited shall devolve upon such custodian. Any officer of election or custodian who willfully fails to comply with this section shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

 

Ballot envelopes can be inspected to determine if they were sealed in bulk or sealed individually by different people. This is why they must be maintained.

 

In addition, it looks as if Dekalb County may have counted ballots not placed in official ballot envelopes, but in crude counterfeit envelopes.

 

GA Secretary of State Raffensperger is not interested in stopping this destruction of evidence. He is not interested in investigating election fraud.

 

There must be a Federal grand jury convened to hear all of the evidence of election fraud in Atlanta, GA. The November 3rd, 2020 election, and the Senate runoff on Jan 5th are a travesty of justice foisted on the American people. It cannot be allowed to stand. Further investigation is required.

Introduction

Discussion

For this to happen the medical community must comprehend and relay to the general public that the geopolitical goal of stabilizing the global population is a Planetary Security Prerogative that trumps all other prerogatives, be they national, medical, political, social, cultural and even religious. For unless the general public comprehends the dire necessity of bringing the global population down to a sustainable level there can be no transition from covert, coercive and criminal to overt, voluntary and ethical methods of population control.

 

Since this is a subject that is alien to the medical community the reader is undoubtedly asking why population control is a Planetary Security Prerogative and what is a Planetary Security Prerogative?

 

Due to advances in medicine, sanitation and nutrition the global population has exploded in the 20th century and since nearly every child now survives into adulthood and nearly every adult lives a long life the population of any given country would double every 20 to 30 years if people were allowed to procreate at will.

 

Since the global population is already at 7.2 billion, in the absence of population control, these 7.2 billion would become 14 billion by 2040, 28 billion by 2070 and 56 billion by the end of the 21th century. This is clearly an unsustainable growth given that we live on a finite planet, we already use nearly 40% of the earth’s ice-free landmass to feed ourselves, there are no new continents to discover and exploit, we have damaged the planet’s life support systems and have polluted the soil and the sea, and 2 billion of us live in abject poverty despite our best efforts to share resources across frontiers.

 

Given this undeniable and bitter reality of material limitations, mankind has come to a point in history that gives us no choice and forces us to act now or perish. We have reached a point in our evolution that renders our civilization a force equal to any in nature but entirely at odds with everything in nature; an unbridled force that disrupts the hard-earned state of equilibrium our planet has held for the past twelve thousand years, time during which our species has thrived beyond imagining at unimaginable cost to all other life forms and to the very elements that make life possible.

 

To survive into the future we are now forced to erect a global governing structure authorized to wield global governing instruments capable of maintaining peace among men, of establishing harmony between man and nature, and of forging continuity between this and future generations. We must in other words consider not only what is good for us here and now but what is good for future generations and for all life on earth and we must act accordingly. Population control is the most important action required of us here and now if we are to save our civilization, our children and our planet. Therefore, population control must and will be declared a Planetary Security Prerogative.

A federal appeals court has sanctioned Perkins Coie attorneys who represent Democratic groups for a β€œredundant and misleading” motion in election litigation.

 

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals at New Orleans imposed the sanctions on lawyer Marc Elias and his legal team in a March 11 order, report Law360, Bloomberg Law and Law.com. A March 12 press release is here.

 

The court imposed the sanctions in a case in which Perkins Coie lawyers argued that the elimination of straight-ticket voting in Texas disproportionately affected minorities.

 

The appeals court said the lawyers filed a Feb. 10 motion to supplement the record that was nearly identical to a Sept. 29, 2020, motion that they previously filed. The earlier motion was denied.

 

β€œThis inexplicable failure to disclose the earlier denial of their motion violated their duty of candor to the court,” the court said.

 

The lawyers had argued that they thought the denied motion applied only to emergency stay proceedings. But there was no such limit, the appeals court said. And if the lawyers β€œhad any confusion about the application of the order, they could have and should have disclosed the previously denied motion in their new motion,” the appeals court said.

 

The appeals court ordered the lawyers to pay attorney fees incurred by their opponents in connection with the duplicative motion and to also pay β€œdouble costs.” The lawyers β€œare also encouraged albeit not required” to review the ABA model ethics rule on candor toward courts and to complete one hour of continuing legal education on the topic.

 

Perkins Coie’s first supplemental motion had sought to establish that the lawyers’ clients had standing to seek an injunction blocking enforcement of the ban on straight-ticket voting, Law360 explains. The Texas secretary of state had raised the standing argument for the first time during the injunction appeal. After the injunction expired, the Perkins Coie lawyers again sought to file declarations showing standing when the secretary of state claimed protection by sovereign immunity.

 

The plaintiffs challenging the ban on straight-ticket voting are the Texas Alliance for Retired Americans, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

 

Perkins Coie released this statement to publications covering the sanctions: β€œWe do not normally respond to requests for comment on pending litigation, but the firm and the attorneys involved in this matter strongly disagree with the appellate court’s ruling and its order of sanctions in this case. In 1983, the UN spun a satellite organization, called the World Commission on Environment and Development (WCED) or more commonly known as the Brundtland Commission, to focus on environmental problems and solutions.

 

The Brundtland Report [4], published in 1987, came up with a course of action to avoid the dire predictions of environmental catastrophe. Its prescriptions are encapsulated by the term β€œsustainable development”, which has become the catchword for the environmental movement and the euphemism behind which depopulation measures, along with decarbonization efforts, have been hidden ever since.

 

The Report’s analysis and prescriptions are extraordinarily valuable and it is not my intention to throw it into a negative light. My only criticism is that it does not bring the Global Depopulation Policy into the open but rather hides it behind a new curtain, that of β€œsustainable development”.

 

The Brundtland Report was followed by Agenda 21 [5], a non-binding, voluntarily implemented action plan with respect to sustainable development/depopulation that was developed by the United Nations, multilateral organizations and national governments at the β€œEarth Summit” in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 to combat poverty and pollution, conserve natural resources and develop in a sustainable manner.

 

In effect, Agenda 21 represents a global expansion of the western socio-economic formula for prosperity, which hinges on covertly controlling population growth. To make it palatable to the masses of the developing world, however, the promise of prosperity was made without disclosing that prosperity depends on first achieving low fertility. That is to say, the people of the developing world were not told that their reproductive rights will be taken away from them so that they too can attain prosperity.

 

That inconvenient truth was reserved only for the statesmen of the developing world, whose collaboration the UN and its western sponsors need in order to covertly poison the people of the developing world the same way the people of the developed world have been poisoned since the end of the Second World War.

 

The voluntary objectives of Agenda 21 were made enforceable in 2000 by the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) [6] when 189 UN members states and 23 international organizations pledged to (1) eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, (2) achieve universal primary education, (3) promote gender equality and empower women, (4) reduce child mortality rates, (5) improve maternal health, (6) combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, (7) ensure environmental sustainability, and (8) develop a global partnership for development; all of which hinge on one and one thing only, halting population growth and reducing the global population.

 

The Millennium Development Goals are a concrete road map that sets specific targets and shows how to achieve them. It is an ambitious and worthy plan, but just like Agenda 21 it is dishonest because it refuses to state the obvious, namely that at its core is the Global Depopulation Policy.

 

In September of this year, the world has adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) [7] and we cannot allow covert methods of depopulation to continue. The depopulation effort must be brought out into the open, all covert methods of population control must be shut down, and replacement level fertility must be legislated across the world as a Planetary Security Prerogative.

This kind of hypocrisy characterizes the war on fertility and therefore the system of international peace based on population control. The program of controlling the global population, which I have baptized the Global Depopulation Policy, is known by insiders under the euphemism β€˜demographic transition’. The demographic transition is a multigenerational plan with three distinct phases:

 

Phase 1: The population control phase, which started in 1945 and lasted until 2000, sought to reduce the total fertility rate of every nation on earth to two children only, the so-called replacement level fertility. It has succeeded in most countries save for sub-Saharan Africa and a few other countries around the world.

 

Phase 2: The population stabilization phase, which started in 2000 and will be completed by 2050, seeks to ensure that the global population peaks at 9 or 10 billion by 2040 or at the latest by 2050. This phase has already been completed in the developed world.

 

Phase 3: The controlled depopulation phase, which has already started in several European nations as well as Japan, but that will not start for the rest of the world until the population peaks, seeks to gradually decrease the global population to a sustainable level.

 

What is a sustainable population very much depends on our standard of living and on the technology we use to enable that standard of living. The higher our standard of living and the dirtier our technology the smaller the sustainable population will be. Conversely, the lower our standard of living and the cleaner the technology the higher the sustainable population will be.

 

Clearly we must strike the right balance between our standard of living and the technology we use so we fall victim neither to poverty and pollution nor to tyranny and genocide. Whatever choice we make in terms of standard of living and technology, however, will be ultimately determined by the number of people on the planet because we live on a finite planet that only has so much to give and that can give even less if its life support systems are to remain healthy.

The general public however is not being told that this engineered transition implies that births and deaths are to be controlled by policies and not by nature so that the birth and the death rates are brought into perfect equilibrium.

Because in a purely natural state, a state that we have always sought to escape but that we only fully succeeded with the onset of the Industrial Revolution, fertility and mortality are both very high. That is to say a lot of children are born but few survive to adulthood. In a purely natural state, human life is also a lot shorter, as few reach old age. In fact, prior to 1945 the average lifespan was just 45 years, but today it is almost double that, at c. 70 years.

 

Due to advances in medicine, nutrition and sanitation nearly every child born survives to adulthood and lives a long life. And because nearly every child survives and every human being lives a long life the population has exploded.

 

In the engineered society of today nature’s equilibrium between life and death is mirrored but at much lower levels, for while in a state of nature births and deaths are at levels higher than 50 per 1000, in the engineered society of today the goal is to bring both births and deaths down to about 10 per 1000. Fewer births and fewer deaths mean less hardship and suffering. And the enduring goal of civilization is to free man from nature, because a life at the mercy of nature is both harsh and painful.

The moment you start interfering with human fertility to bring it down to replacement level, thus to just two children per woman, you start ending mankind’s economic and social problems but you also begin causing unprecedented medical and political problems, problems that defy moral solutions.

 

For as you interfere with fertility over multiple generations and reduce the number of children born to any given age cohort you alter the structure of society from a stable pyramid to an unstable inverted pyramid.

 

And the same happens to human health, for as you subvert fertility with endocrine disruptors you subvert all human health and with each generation you have feebler and sicker people, people whose health is degraded and genetic makeup degenerated and who therefore require increasing medical care and impose increasing medical costs on society.

Having set in motion a train that cannot be stopped, governments are forced to do whatever it takes to get the population structure to a stable state and until such time manage human health as best they can. In other words all they can do is mitigate for the damage they cause in order to accomplish those vital demographic objectives.

 

A stable population state looks like a bullet in graphic terms. But to get to this population profile from an inverted population pyramid you have to shave off the wings of the inverted pyramid. In other words you have to get rid of the elderly because there are too many of them in the fourth and fifth stages of the demographic transition. And too many elderly pose an unbearable fiscal burden on state budgets at a time when the working population is shrinking.

As the war against fertility tapers off in the latter stages of the demographic transition, the war against longevity begins. Since the developed world started to wage war on their people’s fertility first, it is the first to have to start waging war on their people’s longevity. And regardless how the political leaders of developed countries feel about sending their elderly into an early grave, they have little choice under the current system since failing to do so would result in fiscal collapse.

The dependency burdens posed by the elderly in countries where they make up more than 20% of the total population is unsustainable, especially since these countries are hit with the other effects of the demographic transition all at the same time: smaller workforce, dwindling tax pool, lower productivity.

 

All countries with a median age of 35 years or more, which are represented in blue and purple on the map below, are currently waging war on their people’s longevity. Russia does it with alcohol, China with tobacco, and the West with vaccines and pharmaceuticals. In addition, most countries with an aged population augment the war against their people’s longevity with GMOs and chemtrails since the beginning of the 21st century.

 

Japan, Germany and Italy, who lost the second world war and were consequently subjected to the most brutal methods of population control, already have about a quarter of their people over 65 years of age. By 2035 one in three Japanese will be over 65 and Italy and Germany will be no different. The war against longevity will therefore intensify and the problems it will cause in the population at large can only be grave.

The results of the wars on fertility and longevity are dire. They are hidden behind the euphemism β€œepidemiologic transition”.

 

Plummeting birth rates (from 7 globally in 1950 to 2.6 today) and exploding non-communicable diseases are two sides of the same coin; the engineered depopulation coin, because it is impossible to subvert the reproductive system without damaging the entire human organism, which is why as fertility has gone down morbidity has gone up. Reproduction is simply too important to the survival of the species and when it goes everything else goes with it.

 

It is the attack on the human reproductive system that doctors must stop if the epidemic of non-communicable diseases is to stop.

 

The world has experienced an epidemiologic transition in the leading causes of death from infectious disease and acute illness to chronic disease and degenerative illness. Chronic diseases have replaced infection as the primary cause of death not due to expanded public health and sanitation, as conventional theory would have it [20], but because governments have waged war on reproduction and in the process have damaged the entire endocrine system and with it all human health. We are in the age of degenerative and man-made diseases due to the war on fertility.

Abdel Omran, who formulated the epidemiological transition theory, was correct in stating that such a transition occurs as a country undergoes the process of modernization from developing nation to developed nation status, but he was incorrect in ascribing this transition to modern healthcare and medicines and their ability to drastically reduce infant mortality rates and extend average life expectancy.

This transition is purely the result of chronic, multi-generational and deliberate poisoning with endocrine disruptors. In the absence of this steady assault most human beings would die of natural causes and would live in good health until the very end. Moreover, in the absence of these poisons average lifespan would be around 90 years.

 

Epidemiological studies at the level of populations are crucial to alert researchers about regional or secular trends in prevalence of disorders pointing to possible environmental factors. One need look no further to find the primary determinant of non-communicable diseases. It is the deliberate use of endocrine disruptors for population control purposes.

 

The way forward

 

Epidemiologists are on the right track and have begun formulating a theory of chronic disease that suggests knowledge of the multipronged assault that governments commit against the people for population control purposes via chemical, biological, psychosocial and economic methods.

 

It is encouraging to see that endocrine disruptors have been recently identified as pro-inflammatory biomarkers for measuring metaflammation, the type of β€œprolonged, dysregulated, and maladaptive inflammatory response associated with…reduced metabolic rate”. And research is now underway that seeks to identify the nutritional, behavioral and environmental inducers of these pro-inflammatory biomarkers, inducers that have been labeled β€œanthropogens”, because of their made-made origins. β€œThese inducers [it is now recognized] include not only behaviors linked to modern lifestyles facilitated by postindustrial environments β€” for example, poor nutrition, inactivity, inadequate sleep, and stress β€” but also components of these environments themselves, such as particulate matter and traffic-related air pollution; endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs); social and economic conditions that create inequality and economic insecurity” [21].

 

It is just as encouraging to see that toxicologists in the European Union are working hard to identify all endocrine disrupting chemicals presently in the environment and that the process of removing these toxic chemicals from our environment and especially from the food system has begun. Moreover, their efforts are no longer being stalled by the chemical industry and the European Commission due to the direct warnings I have issued to every head of state and government in Europe and beyond and the indisputable scientific evidence of genocide that I have presented in my seminal work β€œPeace Without Poison” [22], which removed all corporate and political obstacles to the cessation of covert, chemical methods of depopulation.

 

To date 163 endocrine disrupting chemicals have been added to the list of Substances of Very High Concern [23] that the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has assembled under the Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACh).

Toxicologists are also taking measures to preempt the depopulation lobby should it try to replace the existing sterilizing, carcinogenic, mutagenic, bioaccumulative and toxic chemicals already identified with substitutes that are not yet known. To this effect Europe’s toxicologists have submitted a list of 15 chemicals deemed toxic to reproduction, most of which are plasticizers, to be added to the existing list and have urged the European Commission to lift its moratorium so that these newly identified endocrine disruptors can be added to Annex XIV, which is the name given to the list of chemicals that are to be removed from the environment [24].

 

Even more encouraging is that several European nations have taken unilateral steps to accelerate the process of removing these endocrine disrupting chemicals from the food system. Sweden, France and Denmark now lead the way.

 

The French government has stated since June 2014 that there is sufficient evidence endocrine disruptors are harmful to the human body and the EU must take immediate action based on the precautionary principle [25]. The Swedish government has sued the European Commission for failing to act [26]. And the Danish Ministry of the Environment has published an important paper on Bisphenol A identifying it as an β€œundesirable substance” and thus prompting the Danish government to take steps to eliminate it [27].

 

European authorities are not alone in their fight against endocrine disruptors. The World Health Organization has identified endocrine disrupting chemicals as a threat to public health and especially harmful to children [28].

 

Most recently and most encouragingly, in a landmark ruling (Case C 106/14) made on 10 September 2015, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) has decided that the 0.1% threshold for notifying Substances of Very High Concern (SVGC) in articles applies to β€œeach of the articles incorporated as a component of a complex product” rather than to the entire article [29].

 

The court’s decision contradicts the view adopted by the European Commission and the European Chemical Agency’s (ECHA) guidance on requirements for substances in articles, and backs that taken by the following EU member states: France, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Austria, Sweden and Norway.

 

This ruling provides a much greater level of consumer protection against toxic substances in our food, beverages and environment; toxic substances used by the depopulation lobby to sterilize and sicken us.

 

But none of the above measures and victories will amount to anything unless all covert methods of depopulation are retired and replaced with overt legislation. We have been playing a losing hide and seek game with the military-industrial complex since 1945 and the only way to have certainty that covert methods will be retired is to implement global replacement level fertility as a Planetary Security Prerogative, thus to legislate population control. This will put the onus of responsibility on people not governments, who would then be free to choose the contraceptive method that is safest and that best meets their individual needs. The military-industrial complex will then become superfluous as governments will meet their international obligations with respect to population control through the cooperation of their citizens and not the imposition of covert chemical warfare.

 

Governments would then only have to make contraceptives cheap and universally available and ensure that their people comply with the law and that dissenters are statistically insignificant so the international framework for peace is not upset and mankind will be able to reach its demographic objectives and attain sustainability.

 

Continuing to play this hide and seek game with the military-industrial complex will only lead to more illness, genetic and intellectual degradation, and to the eventual extermination of the vast majority of our specie’s genetic lineages.

As it is, the worst of the damage caused so far has yet to be felt due to the lag between exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals and the manifestation of a clinical disorder, lag that could be years or decades. In the case of reproduction, for instance, research shows that β€œinfertility cannot be assessed until the exposed individual has attained a certain age, again resulting in a lag between early exposure and manifestation of a dysfunction”. Furthermore, the damage is cumulative due to transgenerational and epigenetic effects. Endocrinologists warn us that: β€œEDCs may affect not only the exposed individual but also the children and subsequent generations. Recent evidence suggests that the mechanism of transmission may in some cases involve the germline and may be nongenomic. That is, effects may be transmitted not due to mutation of the DNA sequence, but rather through modifications to factors that regulate gene expression such as DNA methylation and histone acetylation” [30]. In other words, damaged individuals will produce damaged offspring.

 

There is now also confirmation of the existence of non-monotonic dose response curves with endocrine disrupting compounds. That is to say, the body’s response to endocrine disruptors may be greater at lower doses, which has dire implications for risk assessments that have set safety standards too high, by as much as 1000 times or more [31].

 

This means that the brightest medical minds and the most advanced diagnostic and treatment methods will have no effect whatsoever on the battle against non-communicable diseases. So long as the covert poisoning program remains in place medicine is powerless.

 

To successfully combat the epidemic of non-communicable diseases we have to remove the cause of causes, we have to, in other words, shut down covert methods of depopulation and replace them with overt population control legislation. And to accomplish this we must remove the structural obstacles that stand in the way of overt population control legislation. What are these structural obstacles? They are three: (1) religion, (2) democracy, and (3) contraception. More specifically, the intractability of religious authorities with respect to contraceptives and abortion, the impossibility of being elected to high office in a democracy on a platform of population control, and the unavailability of safe contraceptives or the difficulty of getting people to use them unfailingly.

 

Good health can only be restored if we successfully overcome these three obstacles.

 

I have already removed the first obstacle, the intractability of religious authorities, through my 46-day hunger strike at the Vatican last year [32].

 

Pope Francis and his cardinals are now firmly aligned with the United Nations and are using sustainability as their unifying factor. The religious and secular authorities are no longer waging an ideological battle over our dying bodies. They no longer put their self-interest and their power base ahead of our children’s health and future by failing to agree that regardless of our sensibilities and moral norms we have no choice but to restrict our fertility.

 

I made them understand that if national authorities continue to covertly poison their people into sterility through the basic elements of life they endanger the very survival of the human species in their attempt to save the planet. I also made them realize that the only way to save both the planet and mankind is to bring the population control program out in the open and empower people to limit their own family size to two children only.

 

But disclosure depends on the second structural obstacle, democracy.

 

The second obstacle, the impossibility of being elected to high office in a democracy on a platform of population control, is the most difficult obstacle to overcome and the only remaining obstacle that stands in the way of legislating population control. Politicians and lawmakers are in an impossible situation. They are asked to represent the will of the people while safeguarding the rule of law and respecting democratic checks and balances, but are at the same time required by the dire circumstances of the world to pursue depopulation and globalization so we can survive into the future; depopulation being necessary to stay within the limits of our planet and reach sustainability while globalization is necessary so that every country can access vital raw materials regardless where they are found and to access them on equal terms through the free market economy.

Depopulation and globalization, however, are not popular and because they are not popular they cannot be accomplished democratically and thus within the law so they are being pursued undemocratically and outside the law, by violating the rule of law and circumventing democracy. To be able to do this, democracies have placed the responsibility for pursuing depopulation and globalization in the hands of the military-industrial complex and of the United Nations, thus outside the knowledge, will and reach of the people. And in so doing they have delivered us all into the hands of a global killing machine, a genocidal tyranny. A tyranny that depends on secrecy, deception, manipulation and lies in order to be able to continue to pursue the depopulation/globalization objectives extrajudicially, undemocratically, and without the people’s knowledge and consent.

 

A tyranny that rewards agro-giants for poisoning our food and beverages, and corporations for rendering our dental and cosmetic products toxic. A tyranny that rewards pharmaceutical companies for creating vaccines and medicines that sterilize and sicken us. A tyranny that rewards biotechnology companies for patenting genetically modified organisms that monopolize seeds and turn our staple crops into life-destroyers. A tyranny that rewards the World Health Organization, NGOS, and national health authorities for complicity in crimes against humanity.

 

This tyranny has become the very embodiment of diabolical cunning and cruelty, even though its objectives are benevolent. To bring down this system, this beast, that operates outside the law and poisons our children we need only expose its methods and means, its objectives and manipulations, its deceptions and lies. We need, in other words, just kill its cover of secrecy and drag it kicking and screaming into the glaring light of truth. It will vanish as easily as darkness vanishes with the rising sun. The truth will then set us free.

 

But no one is willing to be the torchbearer of truth in a world where only liars are rewarded. So I became the sanctuary of truth and gave notice to every head of state and government to change course or else they will face our wrath if they continue to poison our children. I made sure that regardless how powerful or rich they are not one of them can hide behind the system and that they live in fear of our retribution and of history’s harsh judgement until such time as they change course and restore sanity and decency to this world.

 

But I also armed them with the tools necessary to change course, because killing the existing system of population control and resource sharing without putting something else in its place is suicidal. For better or worse this system has saved us from nuclear annihilation, mass starvation and environmental devastation.

 

What I gave them is an alternative to global tyranny decoyed by national democracy; I gave them β€œThe Future of Global Governance”, the blueprint for a global governing structure that although outside democratic constraints with regards only to the depopulation and resource sharing objectives that we must accomplish or else perish it is fully within the scrutiny and judgment of the world [33]. I also gave them the global governing instrument of the Planetary Security Prerogative so that population control and resource sharing can henceforth be free of the self-interest of the living to the exclusion of the unborn and of other life forms that have no voice in our political process because they are only animals and plants.

 

More than anything I freed them from the self-imposed prison of mutual coercion mutually agreed upon. But for them to succeed in freeing us from covert methods of depopulation and coerced methods of globalization we will have to give them our informed consent to go ahead and initiate a global governing structure authorized to implement overt depopulation and globalization as Planetary Security Prerogatives. And for that to occur we need to educate our fellow men in record time and that requires that we all become torchbearers of truth, irrespective of our government’s objectives and fearless about repercussions to our lives and careers.

 

What history asks of all of us is that we put our children’s lives and wellbeing ahead of our own lives and wellbeing and that we sacrifice our careers for their future. Those who are unwilling to do this are a liability to their own children for condemning them to genocide.

The third obstacle to overt population control, contraceptives, which was insurmountable when the Global Depopulation Policy began in 1945 because there were no contraceptives available save for condoms and sponges, is no longer a problem. In 1945 the technology of birth prevention was as good as non-existent and talking about conception in public was considered obscene and subject to imprisonment. Today, thanks to advances in medicine, we possess a multitude of contraceptives, and thanks to activist efforts we can talk about sex and educate each other.

 

Access to contraceptives however is a serious problem in the developing world. But this is a problem of capacity that can be solved. The problem of use will be resolved once replacement level fertility is declared a Planetary Security Prerogative and enshrined in international law. I am pushing the world’s statesmen to take this step as part of their commitment to the sustainability agenda [34]. And I am pushing the people to assume responsibility for population control so that governments can stop covert methods of depopulation and legislate replacement level fertility worldwide [35].

 

Conclusion

If our leaders fail to find the courage necessary to confess that for the past seven decades they have misused the basic elements of life as delivery agents for sterilizing and immunodepressant toxins in order to subvert fertility and increase mortality across the globe so as to stabilize the population, and if they fail to engage the Planetary Security Prerogative instrument we have armed them with to facilitate a global change from covert to overt methods of depopulation, it will be because we as citizens have failed to do our duty to force them to show leadership. And it is our children who will pay the price for our failure, just as we pay the price for our fathers’ failures. Our children are counting on us and we are their last line of defense.

 

This is not a battle we can win as doctors but only as human beings, because the cause of illness is political. That is why we must speak out. We must speak firmly. And we must risk everything in the process. As I have done.

 

Continuing to blindly submit to an international order based on genocide can only have disastrous consequences. In this environment neither our individual nor our social health will improve, as we will always be two steps behind the machinery of death. For if we fail to legislate replacement level fertility as a Planetary Security Prerogative across the world and instead allow our governments and the UN to continue to poison us, we will condemn our children to lives of chronic and debilitating illness and our genetic lineages to certain death. And if we shut down covert depopulation measures but fail to implement overt depopulation we will condemn our children to poverty and war, and ultimately to certain nuclear annihilation and environmental collapse.

 

Human health and even life on earth depend not on our skills as doctors, but on our courage as fathers, on our love as mothers, and on our decency as human beings.
