UK to buy Switchblade loitering munition

The UK plans to buy the AeroVironment Switchblade loitering munition, in what appears to be the first purchase of the US-made weapon by a foreign country.

The sale was disclosed by the US Department of Defense (DoD) in an online notice on 16 March. The value of the deal, number of munitions sold or type of Switchblade were not disclosed, though the DoD said it was part of “Foreign Military Sales (United Kingdom) funds”. It is not clear what military service within the UK purchased the Switchblade.

March 20th, 2021 has been a Worldwide Freedom March which of course the US Media IS CALLING as “far-right”or “MAGA” or “QAnon” related. The US press is so anti-Constitution or human rights they call anyone who disagrees with lockdowns as an “extremist” who they imply really should be imprisoned for daring to disagree with them. In London, where they cannot blame Trump, somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 people came out without masks to peacefully protest. Others who have been charged criminally for just protesting and £10,000 fines imposed, have had even their PayPal accounts closed to prevent others from trying to even donate money to help them. This is just ruthless behavior and any journalist who puts out this propaganda is no different than those who worked for Lenin during the Russian Revolution.

Meanwhile, YouTube is hard at work at removing all videos that show peaceful protests around the world. Those in mainstream media have really become the enemy of freedom and the people. There were no links to QAnon worldwide. They just make this stuff up. The anti-Trump propaganda continues. Even in a local election for a Mayor, the Tampa Times called the Republican “a Trump Supporter” illustrating that there is no possible way Biden stands for unity. The only choice will end up with outright violence which is what our computer has been projecting for years.

The term “Black Friday” was not a reference to shopping. It was the Panic of 1869 when gold rallied to $162.50 an ounce and if you had deposited in the bank a $20 gold piece into your account and you when to withdraw it, the bankers refused to give you gold coins and handed you a $20 bill instead. The third — somewhat ad hoc, but nonetheless frequent — justification for the “transgressions” of the Vajrayana consists in the Bodhisattva vow of Mahayana Buddhism, which requires that one aid and assist every creature until it attains enlightenment. Amazingly, this pious purpose can render holy the most evil means. “If”, we can read in one of the tantras, “for the good of all living beings or on account of the Buddha’s teaching one should slay living beings, one is untouched by sin. … If for the good of living beings or from attachment for the Buddha’s interest, one seizes the wealth of others , one is not touched by sin”, and so forth (Snellgrove, 1987, vol. 1, p. 176). In the course of Tibetan history the Bodhisattva vow has, as we shall show in the second part of our study, legitimated numerous political and family-based murders, whereby the additional “clever” argument was also employed, that one had “freed” the murder victim from the world of appearances (samsara) and that he or she thus owed a debt of thanks to the murderer.

The fourth argument, which was also widespread in other magical cultures, is familiar to us from homeopathy, and states: similia similibus curantur (‘like cures like’). In this healing practice one usually works with tiny quantities, major sins can thus be expiated by more minor transgressions.

The fifth and final argument attempts to persuade us that enlightenment per se arises through the radical inversion of its opposite and that there is absolutely no other possible way to break free of the chains of samsara. Here, the tantric logic of inversion has become a dogma which no longer tolerates other paths to enlightenment. In this light, we can read in the Guhyasamaja Tantra that “the most lowly-born, flute-makers and so forth, such [people] who constantly have murder alone in mind, attain perfection via this highest way” (quoted by Gäng, 1988, p. 128). Yes, in some texts an outright proportionality exists between the magnitude of the “crime” and the speed with which the spiritual “liberation” occurs.

So when they died minutes apart of COVID-19 this month at a Palm Beach County hospice, it may have been a hidden blessing, their only child, Sarah Milewski, said — even if it was a devastating double loss for her. Her father was 88, her mom 92. Their 67th wedding anniversary would have been this weekend.

“It is so precious, so wonderful, such a heartwarming feeling to know they went together,” Milewski said, then adding, “I miss them.”

Bill Ilnisky grew up in Detroit, deciding at 16 to devote his life to God, Milewski said. He headed to Central Bible College, an Assemblies of God school in Springfield, Missouri. He preached at nearby churches and needed a piano player. Friends suggested Esther Shabaz, a fellow student from Gary, Indiana. They fell in love.

“When my dad proposed, he told her, ‘Esther, I can’t promise you wealth, but I can promise you lots of adventure,'” Milewski said. “She had a lot, a lot of adventure.”

After graduation and their wedding, Bill Ilnisky opened churches in the Midwest. In the late-1950s, the Ilniskys took congregants to Jamaica for a mission, fell in love with the island, and stayed on to run a church in Montego Bay for a decade.

It was during that time they adopted Milewski, then 2, from a Miami foster home. In 1969, the family moved from Jamaica to Lebanon, where Bill Ilnisky ministered to college students and taught. His wife started an outreach center and had a Christian rock band.

“At that time, Lebanon was an amazing country — gorgeous,” Milewski said.

But in 1975, civil war broke out between Christian and Muslim factions, and Beirut, the nation's capital, became a battleground. Twice, bombs exploded outside their apartment — the first knocking Milewski out of bed, the second slamming her father to the ground.

“My mom thought he was dead,” Milewski said. “My mom and I went and hid in the bathroom all night, crying and praying." The next morning, bullet holes pocked the walls of apartments on every floor except theirs.

“We attributed that to prayer,” she said.

They fled in 1976 when U.S. Marines evacuated Americans, catching the last plane out.

Shortly after their return to the States, Bill Ilnisky became pastor at Calvary Temple in West Palm Beach, later renamed Lighthouse Christian Center International. His wife started Esther Network International, aimed at teaching children to pray.

Tom Belt, a retired missionary in Oklahoma City, was a teenager at Calvary Temple when the couple arrived. He said Bill Ilnisky's tales of missionary work whetted his desire to travel.

Belt said the Ilniskys “were very accommodating, believed in others and very forgiving.”

Bill Ilnisky retired three years ago and while physically healthy for a late octogenarian, had some dementia. His wife still ran her prayer network and did Zoom calls.

When the pandemic hit last year, the couple took precautions, Milewski said. Her mother stayed home and had groceries delivered, but Bill Ilnisky occasionally went out.

“He couldn't take it,” his daughter said. “He needed to be around people.”

Sarah Milewski and her husband visited her parents on Valentine's Day, her mother's birthday. A few days later, her mom became ill, and not long after the couple were diagnosed with the virus and hospitalized.

While the prognosis was initially good, the disease overtook them. The decision was made Feb. 27 to put them in hospice. Jacqueline Lopez-Devine, chief clinical officer at Trustbridge hospice, said in her 15 years working with the dying, no couple had arrived together. She said there was no hesitation about putting them in the same room for their final days.

The State Executive Committee of the Georgia Republican Party adopted a resolution today calling on Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, the Office of the Inspector General of the State of Georgia, and relevant committees in the General Assembly to take action to address the mischaracterizations made by Deputy Secretary of State Jordan Fuchs about the call between President Trump and the chief investigator for the Secretary of State, Frances Watson. The resolution, which is below, also mentions the alleged attempt to “destroy the secret recording” that contradicted Fuchs characterization of the call.

As a friend mentioned to me, the Georgia Republican Party’s continued focus on Raffensperger does look bad considering that little is going to change the fact that Trump lost Georgia and Republicans lost both Senate seats. Focusing on Raffensperger does little to win back voters who the Georgia Republican Party lost in 2016, 2018, and 2020. Oh, and by the way, there’s an election next year, and it’s going to be competitive. That said, Raffensperger and Fuchs haven’t done much to help themselves. The lack of accountability is truly stunning.

Railroads Strike a $25 Billion Merger

Canadian Pacific agrees to buy Kansas City Southern in deal that would link the U.S., Canada and Mexico

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. agreed to acquire Kansas City Southern in a merger valued at about $25 billion that would create the first freight-rail network linking Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.

The companies said Sunday their boards agreed to a deal that values Kansas City at $275 a share in a combination of cash and stock. Kansas City investors will receive 0.489 of a Canadian Pacific share and $90 in cash for each Kansas City common share held.

If approved by regulators, the deal would unite two of the major North American freight carriers, linking factories and ports in Mexico, farms and plants in the midwestern U.S. and Canada’s ocean ports and energy resources.

The combined company would have about $8.7 billion in annual revenue and employ nearly 20,000 people. It would be run by Canadian Pacific CEO Keith Creel.

Kansas City Southern is the smallest of the five major freight railroads in the U.S. but plays a key role in U.S.-Mexico trade. Its network mainly runs up the length of Mexico through Texas to its namesake city. The company last year rejected takeover bids worth roughly $20 billion from a group of institutional investors seeking to take it private, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Canadian Pacific has long sought a union with Kansas City to extend its reach into its busy freight routes that stretch from Mexico through southern and midwestern U.S. states. CP’s major rail lines run across Canada, some northern U.S. states and south to Chicago.

The Canadian railway’s leader, Mr. Creel, worked closely with former chief Hunter Harrison, who made a number of unsuccessful overtures to buy Kansas City. Mr. Harrison died in 2017 after taking over and revamping another U.S. operator, CSX Corp.

“This will create the first U.S.-Mexico-Canada railroad,” Mr. Creel said in a statement.

Railway mergers face significant regulatory hurdles in the U.S. Under Mr. Harrison, Canadian Pacific abandoned a $30 billion pursuit of Norfolk Southern Corp. in 2016 after regulators expressed concern about reduced competition and potential safety issues.

Kansas City and Canadian Pacific currently have a single point where their two networks connect, in a Kansas City, Mo., facility they jointly operate. The merger could allow trains traveling north and south to avoid having to interchange cars and potentially bypass Chicago, a busy and often congested hub in the U.S. freight system.

The merger partners said the proposed combination wouldn’t reduce choice for customers since there is no overlap between their systems. They said the possibility for single-line routes would shift trucks off U.S. highways, reducing congestion and emissions in the Dallas-to-Chicago corridor.

The freight-rail industry suffered a sharp drop in volume last year as the pandemic slowed trade and temporarily shut many U.S. stores, but volume has bounced back as factories continued to operate and economies recovered. Trade volume has overwhelmed some U.S. ports, causing congestion and delays.

If massive fraud were revealed by these audits and hand recounts and it was revealed that Trump was the true winner, I don’t think the people would accept that as long as the other party can run out the clock by obstructing the election oversight process, they could get away with stealing elections.
