Three cocaine β€˜mega-factories’ destroyed in Bolivia as authorities carry out fresh raids against major drug gangs

 

Bolivian police have announced they have uncovered and destroyed three huge cocaine production sites that were hidden in forestry reserves and national parks, during a successful anti-drug squad operation.

 

The three makeshift so-called β€˜mega-factories’, allegedly capable of making 910 kilograms of crack cocaine each day, were covered by tarpaulins in woodland areas of eastern Beni province, central Cochabamba and south-central Santa Cruz when police found them.

 

Jaime Mamani, Bolivia’s deputy minister for social defense and controlled substances, confirmed that the trio of sites have since been destroyed, while praising police for seizing 7.41 tonnes of cocaine in just four months from drug traffickers.

 

β€œWe are conducting operations throughout our territory, along borders and areas where the fight against drug trafficking had not previously reached,” Mamani said in a statement.

 

The police operation comes as Bolivian authorities began the destruction of agricultural coca crops in Los Yungas and El Chapare which were in violation of the quota for their legal cultivation, having suspended the work during the Covid-19 outbreak.

 

The United Nations representative on drugs and crime in Bolivia, Thierry Rostan, addressed the success of the police raids in a statement, warning that the illegal narcotics situation in the country is β€œa real problem”, as β€œdrug trafficking never stops.”

 

Earlier in May, as part of the government’s campaign to crack down on illegal drug activity, Bolivia extradited a prominent criminal to Brazil over charges of international drug trafficking along the Amazonian border with Brazil. Lima Lombo, who is believed to run the Lima Lobo drugs clan, has been in Bolivian police custody since 2019 and will now face trial in Brazil.

Acting ICE Director Admits Biden Admin Has 'Limited' Ability To Track Illegal Immigrants Released Into US

 

The Biden administration is unable to effectively track illegal immigrants released into the United States while they await asylum hearings, according to Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Tae Johnson.

 

In a Thursday appearance before the House Appropriations Committee, Johnson admitted to Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) that there are "some gaps" in the government's ability to track released illegals, adding "for individuals that are just released with a notification to report to ICE or to show up to court, our ability to track those folks closely is much more limited."

 

Johnson then acknowledged that ICE is unable to tell Iowa (or any state, we assume) how many illegal immigrants are residing in the state, or have been released into the country.

 

During the hearing, Johnson also defended the Biden administration's decision to maintain several Trump-era policies, including the CDC's so-called Title 42 rule, which requires the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to give immigrants medical examinations before they're released into the United States. Over 650,000 migrants have been expelled under Title 42 since its inception in March 2020. The Biden administration has used Title 42 to extensively deport single adults and even families, however unaccompanied children are exempt following a late 2020 ruling.

 

"ICE is concerned that the loss of Title 42 could create additional pressure on our immigration system," said Johnson, calling the rule "critical" to maintaining social distance in border facilities.

 

"I don’t think it’s a situation where it’s going to just be lifted electively. We would be mandated by some sort of court order to lift it," he added.

 

Johnson also answered questions over ICE agreements with local law enforcement agencies which allow officers to carry out immigration and enforcement duties - which Biden pledged to repeal while on the campaign trail. The agreements, expanded under Trump, have come under renewed scrutiny by Democratic lawmakers.

 

"It is unfortunate that the prior administration’s aggressive interior enforcement policies placed demands on many local law enforcement agencies that have compromised the trust they work so hard to nurture in their communities," said Subcommittee Chairwoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA).

 

Johnson replied that the policy was useful, but that it did not need to be imposed on cities and states which object to it.

 

"It doesn’t have to be signing up for [the] 287(g) program but we just want to keep those lines of communication open," he said, adding that there "is lots of middle ground out there."

 

"I certainly recognize the issues associated with some that think that it just results in certain folks being apprehended and potentially targeted, which is certainly something I don't think any of us want to see."

39 Million Households Including Most U.S. Children To Get Up To $3,600 Stimulus In Monthly Payments

 

In the latest evolution of creeping Universal Basic Income, Biden administration officials said on Monday that a poverty-fighting measure included in the COVID-19 relief bill passed this year will deliver monthly payments to households including 88% of children in the United States, starting in July. The Democratic-backed American Rescue Plan, signed into law by President Joe Biden in March as a response to the coronavirus pandemic, expanded a tax credit available to most parents.

 

Treasury and the IRS also announced the increased CTC payments, will be made on the 15th of each month allowing families who receive the credit by direct deposit to plan their budgets around receipt of the benefit. Eligible families will receive a payment of up to $300 per month for each child under age 6 and up to $250 per month for each child age 6 and above.

 

Eligible recipients will get up to $3,000 per child between 6 and 17, or $3,600 for each child under the age of 6, in 2021, subject to income restrictions. The benefit will reach 39 million households, many automatically and by direct deposit every month, starting on July 15. It is one of several measures the administration says could lift more than 5 million children out of poverty, half of the total number of U.S. youngsters in that situation, according to Reuters.

 

Officials are trying to help the economy recover from the pandemic. Yet recent signs of higher inflation have raised concern that those costs could eat away at incomes and exacerbate inequality, which has been supercharged ever since the global financial crisis by the Fed's actions, a point we have been making since 2009 and which was underscroed by Stanley Druckenmiller in a recent discussion in which he said that "There's Been No Greater Engine Of Inequality Than The Fed"

Another HAZMAT train crashes & catches fire in Iowa, just 24 hours after Minnesota derailment

 

A freight train carrying fertilizer has derailed in northwestern Iowa, triggering the partial evacuation of a nearby community and a hazardous materials team response. It is the second such incident in the US in around 24 hours.

 

The derailment happened around 2pm Sunday, on the outskirts of Sibley, a small town of roughly 2,700 residents in northwestern Iowa on the border with Minnesota. There were no injuries reported, but part of the town received evacuation orders over a β€œHAZMAT train derailment and fire,” as first responders sealed off the area within 5 miles of the crash.

 

The train was carrying fertilizer and various chemicals used in its production, such as highly volatile ammonium nitrate, according to local media reports. Dozens of cars were piled up on top of one another, some on fire, with a large cloud of black smoke above, as could be seen in photos and video shared online.

The full scale of the incident and the ensuing emergency response was not immediately clear, but according to a video shared by Nathan Minten, some of the cars were still on fire after sunset.

Alleged Fraudsters Charged with Bribing Patients and Fraudulently Billing Medicaid for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services

 

Miami, Fl. – A federal grand jury returned an indictment last week charging Miami residents Lorena Osella, 43, and Juan Luis Matos, 58, with running a mental health care fraud scheme that bilked Medicaid out of almost $1 million.

 

According to the indictment, Osella owned Lighthouse Community Center LLC, a clinic in Doral, Florida that claimed to offer psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) services, a type of mental health counseling designed to help people with depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders cope with their conditions and improve their ability to perform job tasks and daily life activities. Osella and Matos used bribes to generate business for the clinic, says the indictment: They offered and paid kickbacks to Medicaid beneficiaries. In exchange, the beneficiaries registered as patients with the clinic and agreed to receive PSR services via telemedicine that they either did not need or that were not billed as provided. During the time they fraudulently billed Medicaid, Osella and Matos are charged with illegally receiving Florida unemployment benefits as well.

 

The indictment charges Osella and Matos with conspiring to defraud the United States and to pay health care kickbacks, paying kickbacks in connection with a federal health care program, and theft of government property. In addition, the indictment charges Osella with conspiring to, and committing, health care fraud and wire fraud. The count charging conspiracy to commit health care fraud and wire fraud count is punishable by a maximum potential penalty of 20 years in prison. The counts charging health care fraud, anti-kickback violations, and theft of government funds are each punishable by a maximum potential penalty of 10 years in prison. Finally, the conspiracy to pay kickbacks is punishable by a maximum potential penalty of five years in prison. A federal district judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

 

Acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida Juan Antonio Gonzalez and Special Agent in Charge Omar PΓ©rez Aybar, Health and Human Services – Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) announced the charges.

 

HHS-OIG investigated the case. Assistant United States Attorney Timothy Abraham is prosecuting the case. AUSA Emily Stone is handling asset forfeiture.

 

An indictment is a charging instrument containing allegations. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

An armed criminal cell also known as a comando burns down a ranch on the Caborca to Pitiquito road section without any injuries being reported.

 

The property located at kilometer 100 of said street is currently ablaze, after it was reported that a group of armed individuals arrived at the ranch and set the place on fire. The assailants fled before they could be arrested.

 

Local mergency units from the region were on location trying to extinguish the fire that destroyed the property. The replica of the Pueblo Viejo temple that exists inside the property was left intact.

CNN Fires Contributor After Hitler-Praising Tweets Spark Outrage

 

A CNN contributor who had a history of praising Nazi leader Adolf Hitler saw the broadcaster cut ties with him after his latest missives.

 

He later deleted the post.

 

β€œAdeel Raja has never been a CNN employee. As a freelancer, his reporting contributed to some newsgathering efforts from Islamabad,” a CNN spokesperson told news outlets in a statement.

 

β€œHowever, in light of these abhorrent statements, he will not be working with CNN again in any capacity.”

 

The spokesperson initially said he had never heard of Raja, the Washington Examiner reported.

 

A review of Raja’s Twitter history showed he has posted positively about Hitler, who oversaw the Holocaust, multiple times.

 

In 2014, Raja wrote, β€œMy support for Germany is due to what Hitler did with Jews!”

 

Raja has written or contributed to 54 articles for CNN, with the latest running in the fall of 2020.

Piping an oxygen-rich liquid through the anus could be a life-saver. A new treatment for failing lungs that involves such a process has been successfully tested in pigs.

People with low blood oxygen levels may be treated in intensive care by being put on a ventilator, which blows air into their lungs. But this usually requires sedation and can injure delicate lung tissue. β€œIt can be really damaging,” says Takanori Takebe at the Tokyo Medical and Dental University.

Takebe wondered if people could absorb oxygen through their intestines, which happens in some freshwater fish. In mammals, the rectum is lined with a thin membrane that allows absorption of certain compounds into the bloodstream, and doctors already exploit this by giving some medicines as suppositories.

Takebe’s team tested the idea on pigs by giving them enemas of a type of fluid called a perfluorocarbon, which can hold high levels of oxygen. Such fluids have been investigated as a way of breathing liquid, and are already used to help protect the lungs of premature babies, so are likely to be non-toxic when used in this novel way, says Takebe.

The researchers anaesthetised four pigs and put them on a ventilator that gave them a lower breathing rate than normal, so their blood oxygen levels fell. When they gave two of the pigs enemas of the oxygenated fluid, replaced once an hour, their blood oxygen levels rose significantly after each infusion. The same effect happened when the fluid was delivered by a tube surgically inserted into the rectums of the other two pigs.

If there is a similar-sized effect in people, it would be enough to provide a medical benefit, says Takebe. He thinks the approach could be especially useful in low-income countries that have fewer intensive care facilities. β€œVentilators are super-expensive and need a number of medical staff to manage,” he says. β€œThis is just a simple enema.”

One problem is that gut function may be impaired in people sick enough to need intensive care, which can cause diarrhoea, says Stephen Brett at Imperial College London. β€œIt’s too early to say if this has got any legs,” he says.

β€œThis is a provocative idea and those first encountering it will express astonishment,” wrote Caleb Kelly at Yale School of Medicine in an article accompanying the paper. But the idea of faecal transplants for people with recurrent intestinal infections also met initial resistance for β€œaesthetic reasons” yet is now accepted, he added.

This speaks to just how much the government and media have censored the information about T cells and how even a mild infection conveys long-term robust immunity against reinfection. One study found the immunity to last even 17 years later from SARS-1-infected patients who never even had COVID-19. Let's put aside the fact that the vaccines themselves have not been proven effective beyond a few months so far and thus would suffer the same perceived flaw of waning immunity as previous infection. Even in vaccine-obsessed Israel, researchers from Tel Aviv University concluded that their research "puts into question the need to vaccinate recent (up to six month) previously-infected individuals." A study of 6.3 million Israelis showed that the estimated protection for those already infected was 94.8% from reinfection and 96.4% from severe illness, as compared to effectiveness of 92.8% and 94.4%, respectively, from the vaccines. There was just one death in the entire country of someone who supposedly already had the virus, and he was over 80 years old.

One of the challenges people foresaw with vaccines for a virus that mutates a lot like the flu is that the immunity against the spike protein might not work against mutant strains. But studies thus far have show that natural immunity is even more robust. A new preprint study from French researchers tested blood samples from health care workers who never had the virus but got both Pfizer shots against blood samples from those health care workers who had a previous mild infection and a third group of patients who had a serious case of COVID. They found, "No neutralisation escape could be feared concerning the two variants 53 of concern in both populations" of those previously infected. At the same time, the effectiveness of even prior mild infection against the South African variant appeared stronger than in those who had the Pfizer shots.

223 People Have Died With COVID-19 After Getting Fully Vaccinated: CDC

 

Over 1,100 people in America have been hospitalized with COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated against the virus that causes it and over 220 have died, according to newly updated figures from a top U.S. health agency.

 

The number of hospitalizations among the fully vaccinated is up to 1,136 and the number of deaths among the same population is 223 as of May 10, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

 

The statistics published by the CDC are an accumulation of reports from 46 U.S. states and territories, but those that are not sharing breakthrough hospitalization and death numbers is not clear.

 

However, the numbers could be undercounted because β€œnational surveillance relies on passive and voluntary reporting, and data might not be complete or representative,” according to the CDC.

 

Breakthrough metrics refer to cases, hospitalizations, or deaths among people who have seen two or more weeks elapse since receiving the final dose of a COVID-19 vaccineβ€”the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine or the second shot of either the Moderna or Pfizer jab.

 

Of the people who died after being fully vaccinated, 42 were asymptomatic or not related to COVID-19, according to the CDC. Additionally, 342 of the hospitalizations were asymptomatic or not related to COVID-19.

 

β€œMany, many hospitals are screening people for COVID when they come in, so not all of those 223 cases who had COVID actually died of COVID. They may have had mild disease, but died, for example, of a heart attack,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said on CNN’s β€œState of the Union” on Sunday.

 

Under the usual counting program, people who have not been vaccinated but who die of heart attacks or other causes are typically listed as a COVID-19 death.

 

The death rate among the fully vaccinated is β€œextraordinarily low” when taking into consideration the death rate of COVID-19 itself, Walensky added.

 

Some 115 million people had been fully vaccinated as of May 10.

 

The CDC had been sharing the number of breakthrough COVID-19 cases, but is no longer. Before it stopped, the agency said 9,245 people as of April 16 tested positive for the disease at least two weeks after getting their final shot. The numbers were again from 46 U.S. states and territories and said to be a likely undercount.

 

COVID-19 is caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

 

Clinical trials showed the Pfizer jab to be 95 percent effective in preventing infection by the virus; the Moderna shot to be 94 percent effective; and the Johnson & Johnson jab to be 66.9 percent effective.

 

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine was studied later than the others.

 

No other shots are currently authorized for use in the United States.

I just try to evaluate all information based on the actual content, and what I can discern of the intent behind it.

Blinken’s comments came after U.N. Security Council diplomats and Muslim foreign ministers convened emergency weekend meetings to demand a stop to civilian bloodshed, as Israeli warplanes carried out the deadliest single attacks Sunday in the week of fighting.

 

Biden’s ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, told an emergency high-level meeting of the Security Council on Sunday that the United States was β€œworking tirelessly through diplomatic channels” to stop the fighting.

The Trump Administration assumed that whenever there is perceived distance between the United States and democratic Israel, then unsavory players exploit the void and try things they otherwise would not. Israel’s enemies and even neutrals in the area see such a reset as encouragement to move in, on the assumption (correctly held) that American tensions with Israel always reflect weakness and hesitancy to be exploited.

 

For such a supposedly provocative Trump Administration, peace, not war, followed from its initiatives. It cut off the cash flow to the radical Palestinians, funneled through an anti-American U.N. β€œrefugee” commission.

Rochdale Child Rapists Granted Over Β£2 Million in Taxpayer-Funded Legal Aid

 

Members of an infamous rape gang have reportedly been given over Β£2 million in taxpayer funded legal aid, including two who were set to be deported from Britain years ago.

 

The nine Rochdale grooming abusers have so far received Β£2,025,363 in legal aid and this bill is set to increase as at least two of the groomers, Qari Abdul Rauf and Adil Khan, are to launch new appeals against deportation to their native Pakistan, according to a report from the Sun on Sunday.

 

Adil Khan and Qari Abdul Rauf were convicted in 2012 on a slew of charges related to the sexual abuse of children as young as 12, yet were both released early β€” Khan in 2016 and Rauf in 2014, after serving just over two years behind bars.

 

In 2015, then-Home Secretary Theresa May decided that the convicted sexual predators should lose their British citizenship because of the heinous nature of their crimes and the fact that they still held Pakistani citizenship, ruling that it would be β€œconducive to the public good” to revoke their right to remain in the country.

 

The predators launched a taxpayer-funded legal challenge to the decision, claiming that stripping them of their British citizenship would violate their human rights.

 

Though the appeal was ultimately rejected in 2018, the government has so far failed to deport the abusers, leaving them free to roam the same streets where they once preyed on young girls and even come into contact with their victims.

 

Khan and Rauf are both expected to launch another legal bid to skirt their deportation to Pakistan next month.

 

Responding to the report that the Rochdale rapists have raked in over Β£2 million in legal aid, David Spencer, of the Centre for Crime Prevention, said: β€œThe legal aid system was not designed to let convicted criminals run up huge taxpayer-funded bills to exhaust every possible avenue to dodge justice and avoid deportation.”

 

But the Legal Aid Agency defended the funding, claiming: β€œThese criminals did not receive a penny. It went to lawyers so they faced justice.”

 

Home Secretary Priti Patel has consistently pledged to reform the United Kingdom’s β€œbroken” immigration system, however she has in fact overseen a dramatic decrease in the deportations of foreign criminals as well as record numbers of illegal migrants entering the country by boat from France.

 

One of Patel’s proposed reforms is said to include prohibiting asylum seekers from launching β€œspurious legal challenges” at the High Court in the hopes of speeding up deportations.

 

One of Khan’s victims, who was impregnated by him when she was just 13-years-old, said last month: β€œThe fact they are appealing their sentences honestly makes me feel sick.”

 

β€œI have to live round here and it’s so easy to find me if they want to,” she said, adding: β€œWe are nearly ten years on and me and the other victims are still being let down by the police and the legal system. No one seems to care.”

Wuhan Institute Of Virology Erased Names Of Military-Linked Researchers From Website.

 

The Wuhan Institute of Virology erased the name of several military-linked researchers from its website in mid-2020.

 

The move to erase the names of three researchers tied to Chinese military institutions follows questions about the People’s Liberation Army’s (PLA) involvement with the institute.

 

Until May 27th, 2020, the lab’s β€œAbout Us” page contained a β€œCommittees” section outlining dozens of researchers operating under the auspices of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Among the researchers on the committees highlighted on the page were individuals from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, 302 Military Hospital of China, and PLA Naval Medical University.

 

The Deputy Director of the Wuhan Institue of Virology’s Academic Committee, Hongyang Wang, lists affiliation with China’s Second Military Medical University, also known as the PLA Naval Medical University. Underneath his leadership, Fusheng Wang, from the 302 Military Hospital of China, also worked on the committee.

 

Chang-chun Tu, who lists ties to the Academy of Military Medical Sciences (AMMS) Institute of Military Veterinary, served on the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s Scientific Advisory Committee of Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases. AMMS has been described as the β€œhighest medical research institute of the Chinese PLA.”

 

Archives from May 28th, 2020, however, reveal a significant change in the website’s format, excluding the names of any researchers from the aforementioned committees.

 

At the time of publication, the Wuhan Institue of Virology’s site still omits the previously included names of military-linked researchers.

Matt Gaetz's wingman pleaded guilty to charges including sex-trafficking of a minor at a court hearing Monday in a deal to cooperate with prosecutors, which may spell trouble for the Republican congressman.

 

Joel Greenberg, a former tax collector in Florida's Seminole County, is central to the federal probe into whether Representative Gaetz trafficked a minor for sex.

 

Greenberg said he would cooperate with federal prosecutors and admitted to introducing the minor he trafficked to other adult men who engaged in sex acts with the minor in Greenberg's presence, court papers showed.

 

The papers did not identify the other adult men. Gaetz has not been charged with any crimes and has repeatedly denied wrongdoing.

 

But Greenberg, who is married, is thought to be ready to accuse Gaetz of paying prostitute Megan Zalonka after a cocaine-fueled party at a Trump fundraiser.

 

Greenberg, a longtime associate of Gaetz, appeared in federal court in Orlando Monday. He had been held in custody since March.

 

He pleaded guilty to six of the nearly three dozen charges he faced, including sex trafficking of a minor, and he admitted that he had paid at least one underage girl to have sex with him and other men.

 

The plea deal marks a turning point in the sprawling federal investigation that has roiled Florida politics and ensnared Gaetz, 39, one of former President Donald Trump's staunchest defenders in Congress.

 

In March, it was revealed that Gaetz is under investigation for allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old girl and trafficking her across state lines.

 

Investigators are also looking into allegations he paid women for ecstasy-fueled sex at Florida hotels after being introduced to them by Greenberg.

 

Investigators are seeking to determine whether Gaetz had sex with the same 17-year-old Greenberg was accused of trafficking, according to news reports and a law enforcement source who spoke with Reuters.

 

Greenberg's lawyer, Fritz Scheller, suggested to reporters last month that Greenberg cooperating with federal investigators could have implications for Gaetz.

 

Gaetz told an Ohio rally Saturday he is 'being falsely accused of exchanging money for naughty favors' after his alleged wingman agreed to cooperate with federal investigators in their ongoing child sex trafficking investigation.

 

The Republican congressman also compared controversial earmarks - which allow funding for House members' personal projects - to the probe, NBC reports.

 

Gaetz told the crowd Saturday: 'I'm being falsely accused of exchanging money for naughty favors.

 

'Yet, Congress has reinstituted a process that legalizes the corrupt act of exchanging money for favors, through earmarks, and everybody knows that that's the corruption.'

 

He received a standing ovation for his keynote speech to around 400 Republicans at the Ohio Political Summit. A number of Republican candidates are reported to have backed out of the event due to Gaetz's involvement.

What the Media Gets Wrong About Israel

 

The news tells us less about Israel than about the people writing the news, a former AP reporter says.

During the Gaza war this summer, it became clear that one of the most important aspects of the media-saturated conflict between Jews and Arabs is also the least covered: the press itself. The Western press has become less an observer of this conflict than an actor in it, a role with consequences for the millions of people trying to comprehend current events, including policymakers who depend on journalistic accounts to understand a region where they consistently seek, and fail, to productively intervene.

 

An essay I wrote for Tablet on this topic in the aftermath of the war sparked intense interest. In the article, based on my experiences between 2006 and 2011 as a reporter and editor in the Jerusalem bureau of the Associated Press, one of the world’s largest news organizations, I pointed out the existence of a problem and discussed it in broad terms. Using staffing numbers, I illustrated the disproportionate media attention devoted to this conflict relative to other stories, and gave examples of editorial decisions that appeared to be driven by ideological considerations rather than journalistic ones. I suggested that the cumulative effect has been to create a grossly oversimplified storyβ€”a kind of modern morality play in which the Jews of Israel are displayed more than any other people on earth as examples of moral failure. This is a thought pattern with deep roots in Western civilization.

 

But how precisely does this thought pattern manifest itself in the day-to-day functioning, or malfunctioning, of the press corps? To answer this question, I want to explore the way Western press coverage is shaped by unique circumstances here in Israel and also by flaws affecting the media beyond the confines of this conflict. In doing so, I will draw on my own experiences and those of colleagues. These are obviously limited and yet, I believe, representative.

U.S. charities are funding Israeli settler organizations working to evict Palestinians from their East Jerusalem homes.

 

On May 6, right-wing Israeli officials descended on Sheikh Jarrah, a neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem, to show their support for the settler movement’s push to displace Palestinian residents and take their homes.

 

One of the officials was Aryeh King, a deputy mayor of Jerusalem and settler who lives in the Palestinian neighborhood of Ras al-Amud. In an exchange caught on camera, King mocked Palestinian activist Mohammed Abu Hummus for being shot by Israeli forces in his backside, and then, pointing at his head, said, β€œIt’s a pity it didn’t go in here.” It was a wish for the death of a Palestinian.

 

The remarks turned a spotlight on King’s involvement in the saga of Sheikh Jarrah, the Palestinian neighborhood targeted by Israeli settlers that is at the heart of the current crisis in Israel-Palestine. The impending removal of Palestinian families from Sheikh Jarrah fueled tensions in Jerusalem, which spiraled out of the holy city into Gaza and the rest of Israel-Palestine. Israeli airstrikes are now blanketing Gaza, with Palestinian groups firing rockets back; both Jewish and Palestinian mobs are roaming cities in Israel, beating up whoever they can find.

 

King is one of the players, among others, who has stoked tensions in Sheikh Jarrah, the site of a long-simmering crisis. In 2007, King started the Israel Land Fund, and since then, the group has worked to buy land in Palestinian neighborhoods throughout occupied East Jerusalem to sell to Jewish settlers.

 

The Israel Land Fund isn’t trying to dominate East Jerusalem by itself. It’s doing it with the help of private American donors, who get tax deductions for the money they give to U.S.-based nonprofits who funnel the money to Israeli settlements. The overwhelming majority of the Israel Land Fund’s budget comes from the Central Fund of Israel, a U.S.-based nonprofit.

 

The Central Fund of Israel is among a network of U.S.-based groups fueling dispossession and displacement of Palestinians from neighborhoods in Jerusalem to make way for Jewish settlers. The groups’ tax-exempt nonprofit status means their donors receive an effective U.S. government subsidy to bolster the settlement moment β€” in contradiction of the Biden administration’s policy against the land takeovers, which are widely considered to be a gross violation of international law.

 

β€œOrganizations like the ILF are part of a much broader scheme involving the transfer of millions of dollars via U.S. private foundations like CFI to Israeli organizations that together, along with the Israeli state, constitute the illegal Israeli settlement enterprise,” said Diala Shamas, a staff attorney with the Center for Constitutional Rights. β€œThat American organizations are taking advantage of so-called charitable designation to perpetrate violence on the ground and a situation of apartheid in the West Bank goes contrary to the basic principles laid out in the U.S. Tax Code, and other provisions of U.S. law.”

when covid first appeared I remember (but cannot find) a source that said there were at least 5 versions that had been weaponized with varying degrees of virulence.

 

So are we seeing the release of different bioweapons under the pretense of "mutations"?

 

According to Michael Yeadon, Ph.D., a life science researcher and former vice-president and chief scientist of allergy and respiratory research at Pfizer, it is T cell responses, not antibody, that is most effective against covid (and many other viruses)

 

Re strain differences…

He states:

"It’s quite normal for RNA viruses like SARS-CoV-2, when it replicates, to make typographical errors. It’s got a very good error detection, error correction system so it doesn’t make too many typos, but it does make some, and those are called β€˜variants.’

It’s really important to know that if you find the variant that’s most different from the sequence identified in Wuhan, that variance … is only 0.3% different from the original sequence.

I’ll say it another way. If you find the most different variance, it’s 99.7% identical to the original one, and I can assure you … that amount of difference is absolutely NOT possibly able to represent itself to you as a different virus.”

 

If this is true (see his entire talk at the link) then the so called "mutants" or "strains" being claimed may be other versions of weaponized covid being released by cabal/China/other?
