I have long believed St. Croix County, WI, would be an ideal target for a conservative county audit in WI, since Milwaukee, Dane, and Rock would give so much resistance.

It appears the locals have allowed for a 14-5 D-R split in the county government, unfortunately.

But here is a county that is 5k high for Biden based on registrations and trends, likely tied to Twin Cities activities.

This county has a Trump trend identifiable due to larger margin than Romney in 2016. All counties in PA, NC, FL showing that all expanded GOP registration advantage.

Democrats and their Republican friends Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois — neither of whom returned The Federalist’s request for comment about whether they would also call for Biden’s resignation or impeachment — jumped at the chance to impeach former President Donald Trump after he called on supporters to be peaceful. Now the following GOP lawmakers are calling on Biden to resign for his dereliction of duty that has left Americans dead at the hands of terrorists.

Rep. Chip Roy, a Texas Republican, said Congress must take action against the president and secretary of state for their incompetence.

“When he abandoned our men and women in uniform, vacated Bagram (Air Base) and left that base wide open, you damn well believe that Congress needs to take action against him and against Secretary Blinken,” Roy said on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America” on Friday morning. “We need the brass at the Pentagon to be talking about what their hands in all of this are as well.”

Florida Republican Rep. Kat Cammack said that since Joe Biden is a fan of political deadlines, he should have until his Aug. 31 deadline to submit his resignation.

Rep. Lee Zeldin, a New York Republican, joined the chorus calling for Biden’s resignation on Friday morning.

“There needs to be a heck of a lot of accountability, and I really don’t believe that this president can stay in this position,” the congressman told Rita Cosby on WABC Radio. “I believe that he should resign.”

The Georgia Republican took to Twitter on Friday morning to offer a list of Biden’s “disasters” in addition to the one in Afghanistan, such as the “southern border disaster,” the “radical woke agenda disaster,” and the “reckless spending disaster.”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has continued to push Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to call Congress to action following the Kabul bombing. In recent interviews, the California lawmaker said Pelosi needs to get Congress back in session immediately saying it’s time for decisive leadership.

McCarthy also called on lawmakers to vote on recent legislation that would prohibit the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan until all Americans are evacuated. He warned ISIS would continue to grow in the country, noting it’s very close to the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Biden Gives Taliban List Of Americans Who Needed To Enter Airport

New reports are sparking serious concern about the safety of Americans stranded in Afghanistan. A Thursday Politico exclusive alleged the Biden administration gave the Taliban a list of Americans and allies who need to enter the Kabul airport.

We could do this all day, but you get the point: People are rightfully freaking out over the apparently worsening pandemic in the state, as exemplified by 901 Floridians having died on a single day.

Here's the thing, though: The 901 figure is bogus, at least as far as it's meant to symbolize an entire day's worth of deaths. It's not. Not even close.

Rather, the numbers represent the cumulative deaths gathered from a dataset stretching as far back as March of 2020.

Florida didn't report 901 deaths on a single day; it reported 901 deaths from a set of over three dozen days.

It's not surprising that it's done this way: Public health authorities are always working on a lag when it comes to reported deaths. If ten people die from COVID-19 on a Monday, the health department might only report one of those deaths on a Tuesday, then two on Wednesday, then the remaining seven on Thursday as death certificates come in and are confirmed. This is done on a rolling basis and then updated in bulk at certain intervals – a policy DeSantis' opponents allege is meant to hide total deaths… you know, for like a few weeks?

To get an idea of where all the deaths occurred, here's a dataset breakdown of the 901 deaths announced this week:

As you can see, Wednesday's actual reported deaths at the time numbered just eight. That number will almost surely increase as more information is submitted to the state, of course, but at the time it was the only hard data associated with that date in question.

Basically, the numbers were adjusted across the last three weeks once the totals were known (you can see the change and percent change as two of the columns). The gross total for the entire pandemic was then updated on August 16 from 42,731 to 43,632, which the Herald falsely reported was 901 deaths on a single day.

A better headline would have been:

"Monthly reporting update shows 901 additional people died of Covid in Florida over the past few weeks"

Instead, they flat-out implied that "DeathSantis" is going around covering up insane numbers and that COVID is killing everyone due to his policies. Some lefties even agreed with this tactic.

There's nothing wrong with this kind of accounting, so long as it's given the proper context—which the Herald failed to do in its headline, and which countless liberal activists and critics also failed to do when repeating the base number without qualifying it.

This is why people despise the media and trust nothing of what they read in newspapers and see on news programs.

This is why the media's credibility is in absolute tatters. As well it should be!

ABC News also did their part in setting the narrative for Biden’s “comeback” in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. These clips occurred at approximately 10:30 PM on Election Night.

First, Jon Karl comes on and says as they open up mail-in ballots in these states, the “numbers will change”.

Moments later, they cut to David Muir who runs through some exit poll numbers in Pennsylvania that he thinks “the Biden campaign would be very happy with”.

So ABC News, Fox News and CNN all did segments around 10:30 PM planting the seeds of Biden’s improbable comeback at nearly the exact same time that swing states stopped counting. What an amazing coincidence.
