BLM's shocking lack of transparency surrounding its finances and operations raises major legal and ethical red flags, multiple charity experts told the Washington Examiner.

Peace with US only possible after β€˜new world order’ – Putin ally

 

2022 is a year for crisis between Moscow and Washington, according to one of Russia’s most senior senators

 

Hopes that rock-bottom relations between Moscow and Washington can be turned around are unlikely at present, a top Russian politician has claimed, arguing that only when a new world order is established will there be less conflict between the two states.

 

Speaking as part of an interview with Ukraina.ru earlier this week, Aleksey Pushkov, a close ally of President Vladimir Putin, who previously served as chairman of the State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee, cast his view on the current power dynamic on the world stage.

 

β€œThe US is a hegemon that is gradually losing its position in the world,” he claimed. β€œThey suffered a very serious defeat in the Middle East, they lost Syria, they lost the battle for Afghanistan, they were forced to withdraw almost all of their troops from Iraq at the end of 2021.”

 

According to the Russian senator, US officials β€œare trying to maintain their dominant influence by having conflicts simultaneously with Russia and China, although with different degrees of intensity.” Pushkov noted that this creates a nervous environment both in America and the rest of the world.

 

β€œThe US no longer treats us as a secondary power,” he explained. β€œThey treat us as a paramount power, which is why they cite Russia, not China, as one of the main problems facing the Biden administration in 2022.” Pushkov warned that it will be β€œa year of crisis between Washington and Moscow.”

 

β€œAs I understand it, they now want to solve the β€˜Russian problem,’ that is, to subjugate practically all of Europe, pushing Russia to its very outskirts,” he said. β€œThis is exactly what they need Ukraine for. The next phase will be a political or even military confrontation with China.”

 

Pushkov added that America’s political and financial elite β€œbelieve that they are the only ones who can run the world,” and do not intend to let anyone else take the helms. β€œSo, until a new world order is established in which the US is weaker and its role is diminished, we will be in more or less acute political conflict with them.”

 

His remarks come amid an increasingly tense stand-off between East and West, with senior American officials accusing Moscow of amassing troops and hardware near the Ukrainian border ahead of an invasion. Last week, Biden threatened to hit Russian President Vladimir Putin with sanctions like β€œhe’s never seen” before in the event of an incursion, which the Kremlin has repeatedly denied having any plans of staging.

 

Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, warned against a move such as this earlier this month, stating that β€œthe imposition of sanctions against the head of state and against the leader of Russia … is a measure that is comparable to severing relations.”

The militant leftist also eyed property in the Bahamas at an ultra-exclusive resort.

 

The New York Post reported that β€œthe group’s co-founder went on a real estate-buying binge, snagging four high-end homes for $3.2 million in the US alone, according to property records.”

 

β€œPatrisse Khan-Cullors, 37, also eyed property in the Bahamas at an ultra-exclusive resort where Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods both have homes, The Post has learned. Luxury apartments and townhouses at the beachfront Albany resort outside Nassau are priced between $5 million and $20 million, according to a local agent,” the report states.

M4BJ, which is a non-profit based in Toronto that was set up in part by Janaya Khan, bought the 10,000-square foot mansion for $6.3 million in July 2021. Khan is the wife of Khan-Cullors, a self-professed Marxist who helped found Black Lives Matter Global Foundation Network.

 

Last year, Khan-Cullors resigned from the organization after an investigation revealed that she spent $3.2 million on homes in Georgia and Los Angeles. She reportedly denied that the homes were purchased with donations to BLM.

While the mainstream media mostly ignored the event for fear of being accused of racism for simply having the temerity to cover it, crowds of President Trump's loyal supporters gathered Saturday night in Conroe, Texas for the first Trump rally of the 2022 mid-term election cycle. Because even if he isn't on the ballot, Trump is still indisputably the most important figure in Republican politics - even if Democratic prosectors are trying to "put me in jail", as he (correctly) proclaimed at one point during the event, much to the astonishment of the Twitterati.

 

The "Save America" rally was the first Trump rally in Texas since he lost the White House, and will be followed by other stops across the South and Midwest.

 

With every GOP politician in the country eager to seek his endorsement, Trump took the stage late Saturday night and shared some thoughts about his priorities for when he "runs and wins" in 2024.

 

At one point, Trump said that if he is elected to be America's 47th president in November 2024, he would strongly consider pardons for the roughly 700 people who have been charged criminally over their role in J6.

 

"If I run and if I win, we will treat those people from January 6th fairly," Trump said Saturday night. "And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons because they are being treated so unfairly."

 

Trump also strongly criticized Democratic lawmakers and prosecutors for their response to the riot, and also for the numerous investigations into him which, as the AP reported in roundup of the various probes, have taken on a criminal overtone in recent months.

 

The probes, which are unfolding in multiple jurisdictions and consider everything from potential fraud and election interference to the role he played in the Jan. 6 insurrection, represent the most serious legal threat Trump has faced in decades of an often litigious public life. They're intensifying as a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found Trump's iron grip on the GOP may be starting to loosen.

 

The former president alluded to the multiple investigations Saturday night, claiming "they want to put me in jail" before calling on supporters to create "the biggest protests we've ever had" in Washington DC and other cities if the prosecutors investigating him do "anything illegal".

 

"If these radical, vicious, racist prosecutors do anything wrong or illegal, I hope we are going to have in this country the biggest protest we have ever had in Washington DC, in New York, in Atlanta and elsewhere because our country and our elections are corrupt,"

 

Trump continued, saying that "in reality, they're not after me, they're after you. And I just happen to be the person in the way," he said.

Forty-six of these megathrust CSZ earthquakes have occurred over the past 10,000 years, averaging one every 223 years.

 

The next one will undoubtedly overwhelm local emergency responders. Roads and bridges will be heavily damaged. Most communication systems will be down. The Willamette Valley is expected to go as long as 50 days without natural gas, 100 days without electricity and a whopping 400 days without water/sewer.

 

Responders from outside the disaster area will take time to arrive β€” how much time will depend on the area of devastation.

 

Cascadia megathrust earthquakes appear to have triggered San Andreas earthquakes roughly two-thirds of the time over the past 3,000 years. Further research has shown that roughly 20% of CSZ earthquakes have been followed by a Cascade Range volcanic eruption within a reasonably short time frame (days to months).

Erdoğan's tenure as Istanbul's mayor ended when in 1997 when he recited a pro-Islamist poem. "The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets, and the faithful our soldiers" earned him a 10-month prison term for "inciting religious hatred," four of which he served. In 2002, Erdoğan's Justice and Development Party (AKP) swept to victory in national elections.

 

Erdoğan has since remained unchallenged, first as Turkey's prime minister and, since 2014, as president. Observers agree that Erdoğan's skilfully-crafted image-making as the "victim of an authoritarian, secular regime" helped him to win one election after another. "People saw him as the guy from the other side of the tracks who the system had unjustly punished," Soner Γ‡ağaptay, author of Erdoğan's Empire, wrote.

 

Ironically, the man who has become Erdoğan's worst nightmare is following a similar path. In March 2019, as the race for municipal elections was barrelling ahead, Islamist parties had controlled Istanbul along with Turkey's capital, Ankara since 1994. Erdoğan's candidate for Istanbul was a big shot: former Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım. The opposition, however including social democrats, liberals, some nationalists and Kurds united behind Ekrem İmamoğlu, then a little-known district mayor in Istanbul.

Disagreement between the U.S. and Ukrainian presidents and cautiousness by Germany and France, seems to indicate only the U.S. and U.K. are keen for war with Russia, reports Joe Lauria.

 

The telephone call between U.S. President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday was said to have not β€œgone well,” according to a senior Ukrainian official.

 

The official said Zelensky urged Biden to β€œcalm down the messaging” on the situation in Ukraine and that Ukrainian intelligence did not see a Russian threat the same way the U.S. did, according to a report on CNN. It is β€œdangerous but ambiguous,” the official quoted Zelensky as telling Biden, and that β€œit is not certain that an attack will take place.”

 

At a news conference on Friday, Zelensky said: β€œThey keep supporting this theme, this topic.And they make it as acute and burning as possible. In my opinion, this is a mistake.” He added: β€œIf you look only at the satellites you will see the increase in troops and you can’t assess whether this is just a threat of attack or just a simple rotation.”

 

Zelensky also spoke about the resumption of diplomatic talks in Paris in the Normandy Format with Germany and France in which the Minsk Accords are to be implemented. The 2015 accords would end the war between Kiev and two breakaway eastern provinces that opposed the 2014 U.S. backed coup that overthrew a democratically elected president that leaned towards Moscow. The provinces would be given autonomy from Kiev. Zelensky said he hoped that the ceasefire in the east would hold.

It is expected that over 10,000 protesters will attend the weekend-long rally against the measures in the Canadian capital of Ottowa.

 

Meanwhile, the nation’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has come under fire for reportedly fleeing his home in the run-up to the protest, with β€œsecurity concerns” being cited as the reason for the move.

 

The Liberal Party PM had previously denounced the truckers as a β€œsmall fringe minority” who held β€œunacceptable views”.

 

Former US President Donald Trump however has praised the truckers, saying that they were doing more to defend β€œAmerican freedom” than the leaders of the United States.

In the Netherlands, about 25 trucks, dozens of cars and a few tractors gathered at the Oldehove in Leeuwarden on Sunday morning. They drive past the eleven Frisian cities of the Elfstedentocht. From Leeuwarden the parade continues to Sneek. The protesters hope that several people will join them along the way.

"I'm going to ride along as long as I can, because I'm tired of all the measures," says Erik, who rides on his motorcycle. "No QR code, no injections required. Freedom, that's what it's all about, freedom!" By riding along, Erik wants to show his support for his fellow demonstrators. "I'm an old hippie from back in the day and I've experienced the freedom and now… QR code to go to a store, QR code to have a beer… What are you doing? Get rid of that madness! "

Participant Erica Smits explains that it will be a test drive on Sunday: "We are against the corona measures of the current cabinet and that is why we will soon go on a parade through Friesland. Erica confirms that the trip is organized according to Canadian example. "We hope that more people will join in along the way."

Convoys are also demonstrating against the corona rules in other places in the country. For example, a demonstration is planned at IKEA in Zwolle and in Barneveld people gather at the industrial estate to start driving from there. In Maarheeze, Brabant, a 'convoy for freedom' departs from a carpool spot.

An accident occurred on the A2 between Maastricht and Eindhoven with five cars that drove behind the slow-moving protest truckers, the ANWB reports. A police spokesman said the exact cause of the accident is still unknown but the collisions, which she said involved four or five cars, took place near a convoy. "It happened very close to the convoy."

It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured. According to the police spokesman, the convoy is still driving towards Den Bosch. It is not yet clear to the police where the journey will lead. There would be noises that the participants in the convoy would not stay in the region. Belgium would also have been mentioned as a destination.

Transport industry association Transport and Logistics Netherlands (TLN) says it has "no involvement in the so-called 'Freedom convoys'". A spokesperson points out that the organization of those convoys has called on "everything and everyone on wheels" to participate. The convoys therefore do not specifically represent the transport sector, according to TLN.

Unvaccinated Italians over the age of 50, around 1.8 million people, face one-off fines of 100 euros (Β£83/$111) for being caught not having taken a coronavirus jab.

 

After February 15th, the fines will increase to between 600 (Β£499/$668) and 1,500 euros (Β£1,248/$1,671) for those who go to work without the β€œsuper Green Pass” health passport, which is only eligible to fully vaccinated people or those who have recovered from the Chinese coronavirus.

 

Around a million workers over the age of 50 also face being suspended from work if they cannot prove they have been fully vaccinated. Approximately 500,000 Italians aged 60 to 70 are said to not even have taken a single dose of the Wuhan coronavirus vaccine, Italian newspaper Il Giornale reports.

Why he needed a personal secretary from a Chinese firm is befuddling - why he would accept it is criminal given who he is, and what dangers existed from letting a CCP employee into his inner circle.

 

Ho, who was later portrayed by Biden as the "spy chief of China" and a former home affairs secretary in Hong Kong, was arrested by the FBI in November 2017 on bribery charges.

 

According to Schweizer's book, Ho was caught after trying to offer funds to "African officials as part of a 'bold operation' involving 'channeling illicit payments to UN diplomatsβ€”via a network of middlemen, millionaires and suspected spies'."

 

Ho was condemned to three years in prison in 2019, but Bao continued to work for Biden after his 2017 arrest.

 

The secretary reportedly developed a close relationship with Biden and provided advice on everything from "energy deals to his father's presidential campaign," noted the author.

Major French Study Finds Over 99% Glyphosate Contamination in General Population

 

Abstract

 

France is the first pesticide-consuming country in Europe. Glyphosate is the most used pesticide worldwide and glyphosate is detected in the general population of industrialized countries, with higher levels found in farmers and children. Little data was available concerning exposure in France. Our objective was to determine glyphosate levels in the French general population and to search for an association with seasons, biological features, lifestyle status, dietary habits, and occupational exposure. This study includes 6848 participants recruited between 2018 and 2020. Associated data include age, gender, location, employment status, and dietary information. Glyphosate was quantified by a single laboratory in first-void urine samples using ELISA. Our results support a general contamination of the French population, with glyphosate quantifiable in 99.8% of urine samples with a mean of 1.19 ng/ml + /β€‰βˆ’β€‰0.84 after adjustment to body mass index (BMI). We confirm higher glyphosate levels in men and children. Our results support glyphosate contamination through food and water intake, as lower glyphosate levels are associated with dominant organic food intake and filtered water. Higher occupational exposure is confirmed in farmers and farmers working in wine-growing environment. Thus, our present results show a general contamination of the French population with glyphosate, and further contribute to the description of a widespread contamination in industrialized countries.

Former sailor admits to sexually assaulting 12-year-old at Kittery naval base in 2009

 

A Michigan man admitted Tuesday to sexually assaulting a then-12 year-old girl in 2009 when he was a sailor stationed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery.

 

Matthew Boyd, 33, of Warren, a Detroit suburb, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.

 

The case is in federal court, in U.S. District Court in Portland, because the abuse took place on federal property.

 

Boyd was 20 and on active duty in the U.S. Navy when he began communicating with the victim, who lived in Texas, over the social networking site Myspace.com, according to court documents. In August 2009, the girl’s mother gave her permission to visit Boyd in Maine.

 

He picked the victim up at Logan International Airport in Boston and took her to the base hotel, where she stayed for a week, court documents said. During that time Boyd sexually abused the girl. At one point during the visit, he gave her a Plan B or β€œmorning after” pill to ensure she had not become pregnant.

 

The sexual abuse came to light in 2020 after the victim reported it. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service taped a phone call the victim made to Boyd, now married with a daughter, in which he told the victim that his behavior was β€œinappropriate.”

 

β€œBut I had sex with you,” he said, according to a portion of a transcript of the call included in a court document. β€œYou were 12 and I was 20. And I shouldn’t have done that. I should’ve known better, but I didn’t. I didn’t appropriate the judgment that I should’ve, and it’s cost you, apparently, quite a lot over the years.”

 

Boyd remains free on bail.

 

He faces up to 15 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Boyd also could be ordered to pay restitution to the victim for counseling services.

GOP critics sometimes own stock in the Big Tech they're slamming

 

A number of Republican Senate candidates running on anti-Big Tech platforms have stock holdings in the same companies they are vowing to hold accountable if elected to Congress.

 

That’s drawn accusations, from Democrats and some fellow Republicans, of hypocrisy.

 

Others say arguing that someone won’t hold Facebook or Google accountable because they have stock in the company is a weak attack, and that the conflict-of-interest accusations don’t hold water.

 

In Ohio, former state GOP Chair Jane Timken has called Big Tech β€œan arm of the Democrat party” and said β€œtheir immunity privileges must be stripped.” In May, after Facebook said it would keep former President Trump’s account suspended until at least 2023, she said the β€œcensorship of conservatives must end.”

 

Timken, who is running in a GOP primary to succeed retiring Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), holds stock valued at between $800,000 and $1.6 million in Google, Facebook and Apple through herself and her family, according to her financial disclosure reports. A spokesperson for the Timken campaign did not respond to requests for comment.

 

In Pennsylvania, Republicans running to fill retiring Sen. Pat Toomey’s (R) seat are also campaigning on anti-Big Tech platforms.

 

Businessman Jeff Bartos has tweeted about the need to β€œfight back against Big Tech’s aggressive silencing of conservatives” and that β€œBig Tech must be reined in.”

 

His financial disclosure report shows that Bartos, through his spouse, holds stock valued at between $200,000 and $500,000 in Google. He holds stock in Apple valued between $300,000 and $600,000, through a spouse and in a joint account.

 

A spokesperson for Bartos did not respond to a request for comment.

 

The tech stocks could end up becoming a campaign issue.

 

Former Ohio state Treasurer Josh Mandel, who is also running for Portman’s seat, slammed Republicans for holding stock in companies they’re vowing to regulate.

Based on funding availability, the grant is expected to help Pakistan in its fight to ward off the potential ravages of climate change.

Live: 'High risk' – PM isolating after Omicron flight scare; Case should be a 'turning point' – Act

 

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Governor General Dame Cindy Kiro are both now isolating after a flight attendant on their flight from Kerikeri to Auckland tested positive for Omicron.

 

All those on the flight, which include Ardern's chief press secretary Andrew Campbell, are considered close contacts.

 

A spokesperson for the PM said Ardern took a PCR test this morning as per Ministry of Health requirements.

"The result is expected to indicate that the case has been infected with the Omicron variant and the public health response reflects this.

 

"All other passengers on board NZ8273 are also deemed close contacts and are required to self-isolate, get tested immediately and remain in isolation for 10 days following their exposure."

 

They will also need to follow further isolation and testing requirements provided by public health officials.

 

"The Prime Minister is asymptomatic and is feeling well. In line with Ministry of Health advice she will be tested immediately [on Sunday] and will isolate until Tuesday," the statement issued last night said.

 

"The Governor-General and members of her staff were also on board and are following the same isolation instructions.

 

"The Prime Minister and Governor-General were in Northland undertaking advance filming at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, at the invitation of the Waitangi National Trust for the Waitangi Day broadcast."

We recently received this message directly from J6 Political Prisoner Jake Lang from solitary confinement. Jake has been credited for saving another man’s life on January 6th who says he was being crushed to death because police were pushing Trump Supporters on top of him and tear gassing them. This has been substantiated by video, yet The Department of Justice has offered Lang a ridiculous plea deal of nine years and kept him in DC Gitmo for almost a year now.

 

Here is Jake Lang’s full statement:

β€œHello my fellow patriots, it’s Jake Lang – the time has come to draw a line in the sand, to say enough is enough. I am currently in the basement of the DC Jail, the β€˜hole’, where my phone account and tablet has been cut off, leaving me with absolutely no access to my family or my attorney, as well has no visitations because of COVID. Completely silenced and cutoff to the outside world before being found guilty of any crime. The alleged crime? Standing up with 1 million+ other unarmed American patriots against tyranny; defending women and the elderly, my life, my country, my Constitution and even saving a life on January 6th! I can no longer in good conscious, with my faith in the Most High God, identify or have any part with the defacto Federal Government, and their corrupt Departments of Justice and Corrections.   1. Constitutionally protected right of redress of January 6th 2021 grievances, the obvious and overwhelming Will of The People being heard and obeyed: to send back the 2020 Presidential Election vote counting to the State legislatures for a recount.
