Climate goal: electrify a truck

Old trucks are notorious gas guzzlers. Myles Wright, an electrical engineering student at the University of Saskatchewan, says he'll save thousands at the pumps by electrifying a hand-me-down 1980s Dodge half ton he got from his grandfather.

The truck had a bunch of engine problems. Wright saw an opportunity to align two of his climate goals: to own an electric vehicle and not to have to buy it new.

"The best part about this project is that it's not as wasteful as buying a new car because it's about repurposing and actually trying to be better for the environment by reusing what was already there and changing just the powertrain," he told Saskatoon Morning's Leisha Grebinski.

When it comes to climate actions, Wright said it's not hard to transition to being environmentally friendly once you've put in the work on the front end. In this case, the work will take an investment of about 1,400 hours and about $18,000. In the long-term, he expects to save $200 per month on gasoline and will only be able to drive it in summer.

Wright said a lot of people think electric cars are like unicorns โ€” magical things that don't really work. He hopes seeing his truck in action will have a snowball effect by proving electric to be a good investment.

Global Jonestown: When the Whole World Drinks the Kool-Aid

It occurred to me the other evening that Jonestown and the People's Temple movement had to have been some sort of CIA psychological experiment, in preparation to what we're seeing now with the whole Coronahoax (convincing the masses to kill themselves by taking demonstrably unsafe jabs).

 

When I started researching it, I couldn't believe the parallels to today.

 

To begin, the leader, Jim Jones, basically promised Utopia and order through communism, illuminism, and miracle healings (which finds it's parallel in the so-called "science" in the Coronahoax), to a people who's lives generally lacked meaning, and who were generally overcome with hopelessness, lack of strong social bonds, and free-floating anxiety, being the period of Vietnam/counter-culture/civil rights movements (this goes back to Mattias Desmet's Mass Formation Psychosis theory).

 

The people then had a social community, and had to basically make all sorts of personal sacrifices to take up Jones' proposed communist living, which gave the people a sense of serving the "greater good", giving them a sense of fulfillment (finds it's parallels in the submission to lockdowns, masks, etc. in the Coronahoax)". This also caused the members lives to become be absolutely consumed with the affairs of People's Temple (kind of like people are today, keeping up with latest covid "case" numbers, variants, etc.).

 

Like Fauci who said, if one question's him, they're questioning science itself; they essentially took Jim Jones in the place of God. They listened to everything he said, and followed whatever orders he prescribed. To further their devotion, Jones then created a common enemy, uniting them all through fear by concocting fake "conspiracies" against him and the People's temple, supposedly seeking to destroy their vision to bring about societal change and utopia (i.e. the anti-vaxxers of the Coronahoax).

 

Once Jones started to be found out, with the Visit with Senator Leo Ryan, et. al. and he knew it was only a matter of time before it all fell apart, his true colors really started to come out. He was able to get his members to assasin8 the senator et. al. by making them believe they were jeopardizing their own lives and lifestyles (even though very few of the members were really happy, or really wanted to be their anymore; this accomplished chiefly through peer pressure, and because these people were so desperate for something to believe in, and were already so personally invested in all the lies).

 

This I believe, is going to find it's parallel in the increasing persecution and betrayal of the unjabbed, by the Jabbed, either direclty or through their compliance, as the media continues to demonize the unjabbed as the reason things can't go back to normal and for the the continued "life threatening" variants.

After the assina8ions, all the members knew the gigue was up, and the military was going to come round them all up. They refused to deal with the horrible reality, so he was easily able to convince them that "if they could not live in peace, it was better to die in peace". So first he convinced them to administer cyanide jabs and laced drinks to the children. That having been done, all the adults were so absolutely demoralized, having just murdered their own children, they were easily able to take their own lives. Even still, a number resisted, and they were forcefully injected with cyanide (kind of like the Covid Jab Mandates).

 

I think this is why they're pushing the Jab's on the kids today, to create a similar outcome as the truth continues to come out about the Jabs (remember, depopulation is one of their chief goals). I also fear that, like Jones, as the Coronahoax narrative continues to crumble, the New World Order architects are going to become more desperate and trigger similar extreme, irrational, violent, and evil social cataclysms.

One day before Parliament is set to resume, Ottawaโ€™s downtown core surrounding Parliament Hill remains nearly impassible due to the second day of the trucker convoy rally, as protesters, vehicles and trucks gridlock parts of the city.

Ottawa Police said on Twitter that โ€œseveralโ€ criminal investigations are underway in relation to acts described by police as โ€œdesecrationโ€ to several monuments in the capital as well as โ€œthreatening/illegal/intimidating behaviour to police/city workers and other individuals and damage to a city vehicle.โ€

Police urged the public to report any incidents directly to the authorities.

In an update released to media Sunday, Ottawa police said their priority remains management of traffic issues, โ€œkeeping peace and orderโ€ and addressing behaviour they deem threatening or โ€œhigh risk.โ€

Acknowledging that many residents are contacting police and City of Ottawa staff for complaints related to parking, noise and inappropriate behaviour, police said they have to focus on the protest due to safety concerns.

โ€œPolice resources are fully stretched and fully engaged,โ€ the statement read. Police also said they will begin working in tandem with city resources to move vehicles out of the downtown core into Sunday evening, and have already being working to โ€œfacilitate the departure of individuals who are wanting to leave the area.โ€

A few streets remain closed, with police working to facilitate traffic for residents and businesses, while some of the protesters' actions from Saturday have dominated social media and public discussion.

Protesters who jumped on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier were unilaterally condemned by top defence officials, with Defence Minister Anita Anand calling their behaviour โ€œbeyond reprehensible.โ€

โ€œI was deeply disturbed by the events yesterday at Parliament Hill and at the war memorial, I take very seriouslyโ€ฆ the fundamental values of democracy, freedom and freedom of the pressโ€ฆI believe we must show respect at all times to the individuals who died for our country,โ€ Anand said at a press conference in Kyiv, Ukraine on Sunday. โ€œI was deeply disturbed when I saw those images.โ€

The police statement said that national monuments would be protected and that barricades have been installed to prevent vehicle access to the path in front of the National War Memorial.

Flowers were seen placed on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Sunday. There also appeared to be urine on base of the war memorial.

Others who adorned a statue commemorating Terry Fox with an upside-down Canadian flag and a sign opposing mandates, were called out by Ottawa mayor Jim Watson, who said their actions were โ€œcompletely unacceptable.โ€

Some protesters were seen carrying flags with hateful imagery scrawled on them such as a swastika. Several protesters carried large flags emblazoned with โ€œF*** Trudeauโ€ or wore or carried signs that featured a yellow star.

Speaking on CTV's Question Period on Sunday, Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said that โ€œmost credible trucking organizations have distanced themselves from this protest,โ€ and that while the protest was going on there were vaccinated truckers doing their jobs delivering goods for Canadians.

And while Alghabra said he shared the frustrations about restrictions and wanted to see the end of the pandemic, he called some of the protesters' behaviour on Parliament Hill โ€œalarming.โ€

โ€œSome of the images and slogans weโ€™re seeing โ€ฆwe have swastika flags, confederate flags, and some are calling for the overthrow of the governmentโ€ฆit is disturbing,โ€ he said.

Elsewhere in the city, Shepherds of Good Hope, a shelter that works with vulnerable and homeless populations in Ottawa reported harassment by members of the convoy at a soup kitchen Saturday in a series of tweets.

They said the harassment โ€œcaused a significant strain to their operations at an already difficult time.โ€

In a statement released to media on Sunday, Shepherds of Good Hope said the โ€œverbal harassmentโ€ and pressure from protesters seeking meals from the soup kitchen โ€œcontinued for several hoursโ€ and that protesters' vehicles blocked their ambulance drop-off zone for approximately 12 hours before being towed.

The statement said that one of the community members who was attempting to use the soup kitchen was assaulted by protesters and when a security guard, who is a member of a visible minority, attempted to help them, they โ€œhad racist abuse hurled at them.โ€

โ€œShepherds of Good Hope had no desire to comment on this protest. However, we felt compelled to correct disinformation on protest communications channels that we were โ€˜happy to feed the patriots.โ€™ This was not the case,โ€ the statement reads.

Colorado State University offers 17 different resources to students and faculty 'affected by a free speech event'

 

While not naming a specific campus speaking engagement, Colorado State University is offering 17 different resources to any students and staff "affected by a free speech event."

 

Last week, the Rockies Territory chapter of Turning Point USA posted a photo of the sign to its Instagram account. The sign on the campus from Colorado State University reads: "If you (or someone you know) are affected by a free speech event on campus, here are some resources."

 

The sign then lists 17 different departments, offices, "cultural centers," or "student diversity programs" that students and faculty can access if they were hurt by free speech they heard at the school that has a $31,712 tuition for out-of-state students.

They are among 15 people involved in the crash Saturday afternoon.

A preliminary investigation revealed a Dodge Challenger was traveling at high speed and ran a red light, hitting several vehicles and causing a "chaotic event," Cuevas said. A total of six vehicles were involved.

his morning a tweet become viral after claims that the creator of 4chan Christopher Poole was arrested for uploading child porn

 

The tweet copied the text from a local station KSL from Utah that states the following:

 

A Tooele man who police say has had an addiction to child pornography for 20 years, and a Taylorsville woman who helped enable that addiction by allegedly sending him pictures she took of a young girl, have both been arrested.

 

Christopher Poole, 34, was charged Thursday in 3rd District Court with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony. Brittany Driscoll, 36, of Taylorsville, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail late Thursday for investigation of 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

 

Poole has been under investigation since August when Snapchat reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone was uploading multiple child pornography images and videos to an account determined to be owned by Poole, according to charging documents.

 

As investigators went through his account, they โ€œdiscovered numerous messages between Poole and other Snapchat users asking for and distributing child pornography,โ€ the charges state.

 

On Tuesday, agents went to Pooleโ€™s home with a search warrant. During questioning, he โ€œadmitted he had viewed child pornography for about 20 yearsโ€ and to sending and receiving child porn on Snapchat, according to the charges.

 

Poole said one of the people whom he received pictures and videos from was Driscoll, a woman he was in a relationship with, the court documents allege.

 

On Thursday, Internet Crimes Against Children task force agents went to Driscollโ€™s residence to serve a search warrant there. While questioning her, Driscoll admitted to taking multiple pictures of a young girl, the charges say.

 

โ€œBrittany would then send the videos and pictures to Christopher Poole via Snapchat,โ€ according to a police booking affidavit. โ€œShe stated Christopher would ask for the naked photos of (the) child and she wanted to impress him so she would take them.โ€
