A video compilation of the Ukrainian president busting dance moves on the Ukrainian TV dance show "Tantsi z zirkamy," the country's version of "Dancing with the Stars," went viral Saturday.

The clips show Zelenskyy donning a number of colorful outfits and dancing to classic tunes like Elvis Presley's "Blue Suede Shoes" and the "Pink Panther" theme song.

Zelenskyy and his partner on the show, Ukrainian dancer Olena Shoptenko, won the premiere season in 2006. At the time, he was working as a comedian and actor.

In 1997, Zelenskyy's performance group Kvartal 95, or Quarter 95, first appeared on the improv comedy show KVN, or "Club of the Funny and Inventive People," the British TV news channel Sky News reported. His troupe appeared on the program until 2003, when he co-founded the production company Studio Kvartal 95, according to the World Economic Forum.

Years later, he starred in a television show called Servant of the People, where he played a history teacher whose viral speech against corruption sends him on a path to become the Ukrainian president.

The Ukrainian president has been lauded as a hero for remaining in the country to fight alongside the Ukrainian people. He previously refused an American offer to evacuate the country, insisting to stay.

"The Sun printed a lengthy list of its 'offenses' over the years

"…Throughout its 185 years, The Baltimore Sun has served an important role in Maryland: uncovering corruption, influencing policy, informing businesses and enlightening communities. But legacies like ours are often complicated. We bore witness to many injustices across generations, and while we worked to reverse many of them, some we made worse," the editorial board began in its address to readers. "Instead of using its platforms, which at times included both a morning and evening newspaper, to question and strike down racism, TheBaltimore Sunfrequently employed prejudice as a tool of the times. Itfed the fear and anxiety of white readers with stereotypes and caricatures that reinforced their erroneous beliefs about Black Americans."

"Through its news coverage and editorial opinions, The Sun sharpened, preserved and furthered the structural racism that stillsubjugates Black Marylanders in our communities today. Google bans Russian state media from receiving money for ads - agency

Earlier, YouTube confirmed that it had barred some Russian channels from receiving money for ads due to a special military operation in Ukraine

Google has decided to ban Russia’s state media from receiving money for ads, the Reuters news agency said on Sunday.

According to the agency, the tech giant temporarily paused Russia’s state-funded media outlets from placing ads on its services.

Earlier, YouTube confirmed that it had barred some Russian channels from receiving money for ads due to a special military operation in Ukraine. Prior to this, the monetization of Russian media was banned by Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address on February 24 that in response to a request by the heads of the Donbass republics he had made a decision to carry out a special military operation in order to protect people "who have been suffering from abuse and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years." The Russian leader stressed that Moscow had no plans of occupying Ukrainian territories.

When clarifying the developments unfolding, the Russian Defense Ministry reassured that Russian troops are not targeting Ukrainian cities, but are limited to surgically striking and incapacitating Ukrainian military infrastructure. There are no threats whatsoever to the civilian population.

Facebook reportedly restricted accounts of four separate Kremlin media outlets.

Facebook is facing potential restrictions in Russia amid claims by the Russian government that it censored several state-run media accounts in that country.

The Russian government said this week that Facebook had partially restricted accounts run by four separate government media organizations, specifically Gazeta.ru, Zvezda TV channel, Lenta.ru and RIA Novosti news agency.

Rice said that this meeting might signal "Russians bit off more than they can chew."

"We'll see what terms the Russians offer, and I'm sure that it's a good thing that they're going to talk. But if anything, what this may show is that Vladimir Putin expected an easy win here. He thought he would waltz into the capital, into Kyiv.
