World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla took aim against the ‘anti-vaccine’ and ‘conspiracy people’ while boasting about vaccine efficacy and “groundbreaking” new plans to distribute vaccines to impoverished countries at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

 

As Bourla assured Schwab that the US and European governments provide liability for lawsuits for the pharmaceutical companies if the vaccines are “not working out well,” Bourla rebuked opponents of compulsory COVID-19 vaccination.

 

“With any other medicine, for example, we don’t ask anyone to do anything with liabilities, but with a vaccine, we knew that there is a very fanatic group of anti-vaxxers that would go after us no matter what. They will claim that the sun didn’t go up because people were vaccinated and that created issues with the crop, ‘So, I’m suing you,'” the Pfizer CEO said on Wednesday. “And one thing it is to sue you in the US another thing is to sue you in a country where the legal system is not up to the standards or Switzerland. So, I think that’s behind us. Everything went okay and I think we can move on “

 

“I think we were — we were both targets of the anti-vaccine movements and conspiracy people claiming that I had triple — I wondered what it is — triple Covid,” Schwab replied. “I was — I think you got hundreds of thousands of clicks and so on.”

 

“I read one day I was arrested by FBI,” Bourla shot back.

 

Schwab added, “Same happened to me.”

 

“And there are pictures of me in the FBI offices — I don’t know how,” Bourla continued. “The surprising thing it is that the same publication — had published the previous one that was arrested was the pope by FBI,” Bourla continued. “Ridiculous.”

 

“So wear in good company,” Schwab gloated.

 

In November, Bourla also lashed out at peddlers of “misinformation,” warning people spreading lies about COVID vaccine efficacy are “criminals” who have cost “millions of lives.”

 

“Today we announced that we will offer all of our patent-protected medicines, all, vaccines or medicines that currently, exist in the US or in Europe to the 45 poorest countries in the world. It is a population of 1.2 billion people at cost. We are also making a commitment that every year that we discover or bring the U.S. to Europe or to the world new medicines,” he said. “Today this dream is becoming a reality.”

 

“To improve compliance — if someone thinks that I’m going to go to the doctor or the pharmacy, but at least with one shot, I will get two, flu and that also will increase the number. So, these are the things — it’s very difficult to improve the efficacy right now,” the Bourla continued. “It’s very very high, but what you can improve it is how convenient it is and how can last the efficacy for a longer period of time.

 

The Greek Pfizer chief, who speaks broken English, also boasted about how mRNA technology will become a remedy to treat cancer.

 

“I think we will see a lot of advancements with mRNA and the good thing, after the success of COVID, is that right now we have a substantial wave of companies — biotechs and big pharma — that are working on mRNA, a lot, and they are working on multiple applications of mRNA,” he continued. “So, I think the first things that I’m hopeful to see is other vaccines other than COVID. Flu vaccine, a single vaccine with mRNA or other vaccines with mRNA,” Bourla said. “The second wave that we could see is cancer. We are — there are a lot or research companies for many years now trying to use your immune system to attack your cancer cells, to train your immune system.”

 

Despite Bourla audaciously heralding the benefits of mRNA technology, documents released through FOIA requests by the FDA and Pfizer’s own data confirms t the mRNA technology not only carcinogenic and often lethal but causes thousands of adverse effects.

For decades, Congress has been well aware that the Social Security and Medicare trust funds are in deep financial trouble. Yet, instead of addressing the matter before it becomes too big to solve, Congress has chosen to kick the can down the road, ignoring the elephant in the room as it fixates on less pressing problems and trivial matters.

 

On June 3, the Social Security and Medicare Boards of Trustees issued their latest annual report on the financial status of the two giant entitlement programs. Suffice to say, things are not looking good for the future of the programs.

 

According to the report:

 

“Social Security and Medicare both face long-term financing shortfalls under currently scheduled benefits and financing. Costs of both programs will grow faster than gross domestic product (GDP) through the mid-2030s primarily due to the rapid aging of the U.S. population. Medicare costs will continue to grow faster than GDP through the late 2070s due to projected increases in the volume and intensity of services provided.”

 

In other words, the long-term viability of both of these programs is in jeopardy due to the simple fact that their payouts continue to surge as massive numbers of baby boomers retire and increase their utilization of Medicare benefits.

 

Per the report,

 

“The Old-Age and Survivors Insurance (OASI) Trust Fund, which pays retirement and survivors benefits, will be able to pay scheduled benefits on a timely basis until 2034, one year later than reported last year. At that time, the fund’s reserves will become depleted and continuing tax income will be sufficient to pay 77 percent of scheduled benefits.”

 

Translation: Congress has been derelict in its duty as financial steward of Social Security. Instead of stowing funds for the future when Social Security ran surpluses over the past few decades, Congress “borrowed” that money to spend on a slew of other items.

 

Over the years, Congress has “borrowed” nearly $3 trillion from Social Security. While this may have been feasible during the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s—when baby boomers paid more into the trust fund than outgoing benefits on an annual basis—this is no longer the case because baby boomers are retiring en masse and collecting benefits while current payments cannot sustain the promised payouts.

 

Moreover, as the report notes,

 

“The OASI and DI funds are separate entities under law. The report also presents information that combines the reserves of these two funds in order to illustrate the actuarial status of the Social Security program as a whole. The hypothetical combined OASI and DI funds would be able to pay scheduled benefits on a timely basis until 2035, one year later than reported last year. At that time, the combined funds’ reserves will become depleted and continuing tax income will be sufficient to pay 80 percent of scheduled benefits.”

So sweet that services have emerged to solve these CAPTCHAs cheaply for people who run spam/bot services that need to bypass these CAPTCHAs.

But I’m getting a little off topic here, the point is, humans are a much needed commodity in today’s shifty digital market. CAPTCHAs need to be solved and their are many people willing to pay money to have them solved.

 

So, the idea came to me that it shouldn’t be to hard to build a botnet that forces people to solve CAPTCHAs for you. Some malware convinces people to buy MoneyPak cards in order to get their computer working again so perhaps that sort of strategy could be used? But what would be a _believable _scenario where somebody would be forced to solve a CAPTCHA image?

 

I remember back to a crazy incident where Comcast (an ISP) started injecting Javascript into pages over HTTP. This is horrific for so many reasons but it’s completely true.

 

Not only were they injecting Javascript but they were doing it with poorly made Javascript which would no doubt break many pages that it was injected into. So we know that an ISP or two is willing to do dirty things such as this so why wouldn’t they also force people to verify that they’re human and not abusing Comcast’s precious internet service?

U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) announced that multiple, large pallets of bricks have been left out in Washington D.C. The bricks are located not far from the Supreme Court Building and House offices.

The bricks laid out in downtown Washington D.C. reminded many of similar occurrences during the violent George Floyd riots in 2020. During the riots, pallets of bricks were routinely found along protest routes in a number of cities that suffered violent riots.

 

In June 2020, police in St. Louis, Missouri identified pallets of bricks that were believed to be connected with riot activity. We have learned of & discovered stashes of bricks and rocks in & around the Plaza and Westport to be used during a riot,” announced the Kansas City Police Department on May 31, 2020. “If you see anything like this, you can text 911 and let us know so we can remove them. This keeps everyone safe and allows your voice to continue to be heard.”

 

Similar instances were reported in Minneapolis, New York City, Dallas and Washington D.C.

 

The Washington D.C. brick pile comes as far-left extremists have promised a “night of rage” in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe V. Wade.

The Supply Solution to Stagflation Economics

This should worry us. Today’s global supply chains – made possible by reductions in tariffs and lower transportation and communication costs – have transformed production by allowing firms to manufacture goods wherever it is cheapest to do so. This has generally meant that while high-value-added inputs (such as research and development, design, advertising, and finance) are sourced in advanced economies, manufacturing moves to emerging markets and developing countries.

 

The benefits are obvious. Final products are significantly less expensive, so even the poorest people in rich countries can buy them.

 

At the same time, developing countries participate in the production process, using their most valuable resource: low-cost labor. As their workers gain skills, their own manufacturers move to more sophisticated production processes, climbing the value chain. As workers’ incomes rise, they buy more rich-country products.

 

By 2017, for example, China had more iPhone users than any other country. Knowledge workers in rich countries then earn higher incomes as the market for high-value products grows.

 

Of course, even though trade yields net benefits, the distribution of gains and losses matters. Trade is not simply “win-win.” Hollowed-out small towns in the American Midwest attest to the downside of offshoring production.

 

It has ever been thus: Across the advanced economies, today’s rust-belt towns and cities initially grew by putting traditional craft workers elsewhere out of work. With the right policy support, however, trade need not leave people or communities behind. In Scandinavia, firms constantly focus on upgrading their workers’ skills so that they are ready for change.

 

These are the basic, Economics 101 arguments in support of free and fair trade. But in recent years, global supply chains have displayed new vulnerabilities. In their desire to maximize efficiency, companies have sometimes overlooked resilience. Climate disasters (including floods, droughts, and wildfires) and shocks like the pandemic-induced lockdowns have highlighted “just-in-time” supply chains’ many chokepoints.

 

As a result, firms are now considering whether they should increase their inventories as an additional buffer. They are also looking for ways to reduce chokepoints by diversifying production locations across countries, and to increase flexibility by making inputs more substitutable. Such private-sector responses can preserve the viability of global supply chains.

 

But resurgent protectionism – cloaked and augmented by new geopolitical rivalries – constitutes a more dangerous threat. The tit-for-tat tariffs between the US and China during Donald Trump’s presidency were the opening salvos. The West’s subsequent restrictions on the Chinese telecom giant Huawei’s sales, and China’s restrictions on Australian imports, added more policy uncertainty to the mix. Now, Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has introduced the possibility of an angry public broadening official sanctions beyond what policymakers intend.

 

If all that is not sufficient to make corporate CEOs rethink the value of their global supply chains, government advocacy of friend-shoring certainly will. True, national security can never be taken lightly. It is legitimate for a country to ensure that goods and services essential to its national defense are produced domestically or by friendly neighbors. The problem is that “essential” is often broadened by protectionist interests to include even widely produced commodities like steel or aluminum.

No, Warp Speed was making sure they had the glass viles to store it, the metal caps to seal it and the syringes/needles and trucks to distribute it. The index fell from 54.8 in May to 51.9 in June in the eurozone, marking a 16-month low. When the index is above 50 points, this signifies economic expansion, while below 50 points mean economic contraction.

 

The results, which show that US retail sales fell in May, while mortgage prices rose 5.81% last week (scoring the highest rise since 2008), and inflation at a four-decade high, all point to a US economy that will grow at an annual rate of less than 1% in June, and will contract in the third quarter, according to Chris Williamson, chief business economist at S&P Global.

 

In Europe, readings point to a second-quarter growth rate of 0.2%.

 

The obstacles faced by the West's economy this year range from renewed Covid-19 lockdowns in China, rising food and energy prices, central banks combating high inflation by increasing borrowing costs, and the decisive factor being the war in Ukraine.

 

Economists at Barclays envisioned a 2.2% growth for the US economy this year, followed by a 1.1% growth in 2023. As for the eurozone, the economy is expected to enter a recession in the final quarter of 2022, and may expand by just 0.5% in 2023.

They have caused moral and material damages, putting life and the integrity of several members of Sinaltrainal5 at stake, because they have been involved in criminal cases charging unionists with slander, calumny, damage to property, conspiracy to commit crime, rebellion and terrorism, among other things, with at least 12 leaders of Sinaltrainal unfairly imprisoned. An arrest warrant was issued against them, and the corporation took advantage of this to give them notice of dismissal for “just cause”. But the company was compelled to rehire them when they were acquitted.6

 

In order to hinder freedom of association, the transnational corporation militarizes repression for protesting. As in many other cases, there are the events that happened in the Medellín bottling plant on 17 December 2010, where police entered with armored cars to force removal of subcontracted and Sinaltrainal affiliated workers that refused to move the distribution vehicles. Some individuals, on behalf of Coca Cola and escorted by policemen, went to the workers’ homes with dismissal notices for them.

 

The social, political and armed conflict that continues in Colombia after more than 50 years is used as a pretext by the state and by transnationals such as Coca Cola to carry out an anti-trade union policy, aiming to link trade union activities, workers’ claims and protests with actions by outlaw organizations or organizations guilty of violent crimes. Several members of Sinaltrainal that work for Coca Cola bottling companies have been unjustifiably accused by the Administrative Department of Security (DAS) of being a danger for national security. Coca Cola has been implicated in having links to and supporting the war that the state security forces are carrying on. An example of this is the gathering of people from Coca Cola bottling plants in February 2010 on the military base of Tolemaida. Under the slogan “Guided by Pride” and dressed in military uniforms, they participated in war maneuvre training.7

Former Obama administration Treasury Secretary Larry Summers predicted the United States will enter an economic recession and suggested the possibility of yet higher gas prices than the country is currently seeing.

Finally, Summers has found a new culprit behind America’s inflation crisis: Republicans who downplay the severity of the January 2021 US Capitol riot.

“The executive summary of this report says ‘we assess that Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammad bin Salman ordered the operation’ to capture and kill [Khashoggi],” Viser said.

“And he released the report, right?” Jean-Pierre said, at first sidestepping whether Biden agreed with the finding.

“But does he agree with that assessment?” Viser pressed.

“I’m telling you this is something that the president takes very, very seriously. And he released that report, so clearly he would not release that report if it’s not something he believed in,” Jean-Pierre said.

Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey on Thursday made his first appearance before a London court on charges he sexual assaulted three men between 2005 and 2013.

My primary research interest is furthering the science of deep learning—developing and conducting rigorous, empirical experiments to better understand deep learning systems—and using the resulting insights to improve the performance, efficiency, and human-interpretability of these systems. I’m currently pursuing these interests as a researcher at MosaicML.

Susquehanna founder and TikTok investor Jeff Yass has avoided $1 billion in taxes while largely escaping public scrutiny. He’s now pouring his money into campaigns to cut taxes and support election deniers.

 

One day in July 1985, three young men from Philadelphia, their lawyer and a burly Pinkerton guard arrived at a horse track outside Chicago carrying a briefcase with $250,000 in cash.

 

Running the numbers on a Compaq computer the size of a small refrigerator, Jeffrey Yass and his friends had found a way to outwit the track’s bookies, according to interviews, records and news accounts. A few months earlier, they’d wagered $160,000, gambling that, with tens of thousands of bets, they could nail the exact order of seven horses in three different races. It was a sophisticated theory of the racing odds, honed with help from a Ph.D. statistician who’d worked for NASA on the moon landing, and it proved right. They bagged $760,000, then the richest payoff in American racing history.

 

But that summer day, when they presented their strikingly long list of bets at the track window, they were turned away. Their appeal to the track owner got them ejected. Yass, just 27, then sued for the right to place the bets. The track’s lawyer fumed to a federal judge that the men were trying to corner the betting market “through the use of their statistics and numbers.”

 

Yass lost, but that year he and his friends repeated variations of the strategy at horse and greyhound tracks around the country. Then they decided to turn their focus from a world of hundreds of thousands of dollars to a world of billions: Wall Street.

 

Four decades later, the firm he and his friends founded, Susquehanna International Group, is a sprawling global company that makes billions of dollars. Yass and his team used their numerical expertise to make rapid-fire computer-driven trades in options and other securities, eventually becoming a giant middleman in the markets for stocks and other securities. If you have bought stock or options on an app like Robinhood or E-Trade, there’s a good chance you traded with Susquehanna without knowing it. Today, Yass, 63, is one of the richest and most powerful financiers in the country.

 

But one crucial aspect of his ascent to stratospheric wealth has transpired out of public view. Using the same prowess that he’s applied to race tracks and options markets, Yass has taken aim at another target: his tax bill.

 

There, too, the winnings have been immense: at least $1 billion in tax savings over six recent years, according to ProPublica’s analysis of a trove of IRS data. During that time, Yass paid an average federal income tax rate of just 19%, far below that of comparable Wall Street traders.

 

Yass has devised trading strategies that reduce his tax burden but push legal boundaries. He has repeatedly drawn IRS audits, yet has continued to test the limits. Susquehanna has often gone to court to fight the government, with one multiyear audit battle ending in a costly defeat. The firm has maintained in court filings that it complied with the law.

 

Yass’ low rate is particularly notable because Susquehanna, by its own description, specializes in short-term trading. Money made from such rapid trades is typically taxed at rates around 40%.

 

In recent years, however, Yass’ annual income has, with uncanny consistency, been made up almost entirely of income taxed at the roughly 20% rate reserved for longer-term investments.

 

Congress long ago tried to stamp out widely used techniques that seek to transform profits taxed at the high rate into profits taxed at the low rate. But Yass and his colleagues have managed to avoid higher taxes anyway.

Investigators identified six men in custody accused of traveling to Clay County in hopes of having sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl.

The Civics Secures Democracy Act would let the Biden administration impose critical race theory on public school civics courses via grants.

 

If you’re keeping an eye on what Sen. John Cornyn has in store for your Second Amendment rights, you might want to watch his other hand. He has just recently reintroduced the Civics Secures Democracy Act, which would enable the federal government to impose critical race theory (CRT) — that is, state-sanctioned racism and anti-Americanism — on public school civics courses via federal grants.

 

Of course, the drafters of the bill are too politically savvy to explicitly endorse critical race theory. Instead, the legislation provides for $6 billion in federal grants to states, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and researchers to improve civics and American history education primarily for “traditionally underserved students”

 

As explained in detail by Stanley Kurtz at the Ethics and Public Policy Center (see here and here), this anodyne-sounding terminology masks a deeply partisan agenda – an agenda that parents are fighting across the country. Kurtz reports that while the re-introduced bill removes a previous iteration’s problematic references to “action civics” (leftist political agitation for course credit), its central focus on “underserved” students is key to how the Biden Department of Education will implement it.

 

Cornyn’s bill, co-sponsored by GOP Sens. Jim Inhofe and Bill Cassidy and Rep. Tom Cole, would allow Biden educrats to award great sums of money to states willing to teach this politicized dogma under the guise of civics.

 

It’s not as though Cornyn is unaware of the dangers of his bill. He has surely read the warnings – including one from the respected National Association of Scholars – that the bill is a Trojan horse for leftist propaganda.

 

This is the same kind of rule that failed to block the Common Core debacle. As Kurtz points out, Cornyn’s CRT bill is following the same path that Common Core did, only with higher stakes. How many times will the feds manipulate well-intentioned grants to impose onerous strings and political agendas before Republican politicos catch on to the game?

 

Fortunately, the most recent warnings about Cornyn’s federal CRT bill seem to be getting traction among conservatives with a microphone. Radio host Mark Levin featured Kurtz on his show, and even former President Trump weighed in when speaking to the Faith and Freedom Coalition.

 

On “The Ingraham Angle,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich expressed dismay that Republicans in Congress are being led down this leftist primrose path. Cornyn’s bill “is crazy,” Gingrich said. “No Republican should be for it. … And I’m frankly astonished that any Republican would agree to co-sponsor that bill, and I think it’s an open invitation to further creating a totalitarian left-wing mindset where they’re gonna tell us how we think, how we behave, what we’re allowed to do.”

Not that I'm aware of on any public basis. I would think that that since CERN is so obviously tied to the demonic (I am not referring to the scientists, but all the other sh*t that I don't have sauce for, so don't ask…crumbs i've picked up here) that those in control have certainly pursued Looking Glass / Yellow Book tech …successfully or not, I have no idea.

I have never in my life met or heard of a white supremacist. their existence is a conspiracy theory.

Gaiz… Sorry to do this to you all, but I've been feeling pretty gay lately, it's weird. Ever since my doc put me on 2 meds a couple weeks ago for anxiety/ptsd, straterra and buspiron, I haven't been able to get it up and "Os" are kinda shitty too. The gay part is that I've also been wanting to get pegged to see what it's all about. Wtf? I used to take other meds when I was way younger but they never did this! You think these anxiolytics and ADHD meds might be doing shit like this to everyone else in the US? I wouldn't put it passed the DS to do some bullshit like this.
