Intimidating our justices on foreign soil? Just what is this president’s major malfunction?

 

Yesterday in Madrid, Joe Biden all but put a bounty on the heads of six Supreme Court justices.

 

He didn’t do it in so many words, of course, but let’s consider what the American president said yesterday in Spain, and then let’s think about this moment in history:

 

The one thing that has been destabilizing is the outrageous behavior of the Supreme Court of the United States on overruling not only Roe v. Wade but essentially challenging the right to privacy. We’ve been a leader in the world in terms of personal rights and privacy rights, and it is a mistake, in my view, for the Supreme Court to do what it did.

 

The one thing … destabilizing … outrageous behavior … Supreme Court.

 

So much for politics ending at the water’s edge.

 

Now let’s recall where we were just three weeks ago: A 26-year-old California man took a cab to Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home with a suitcase and backpack containing a black tactical chest rig and tactical knife, a Glock 17 with two magazines and ammunition, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, screwdriver, nail punch, crow bar, pistol light, duct tape, hiking boots with padding on the outside of the soles, and other items.

 

What was it that could’ve upset this man so much that he’d fly across the country with the intent to assassinate a sitting Supreme Court justice? Ah, that’s right: He told police he intended to break into Kavanaugh’s house and kill him because he was upset about the leaked abortion opinion and the Uvalde school shooting.

 

Joe Biden never once addressed this attempted assassination directly. Oh, he released an anodyne statement written by some staffer and parroted by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, but not a word otherwise. That in itself is disgraceful.

 

And here he was yesterday, on the world stage, just a week removed from the most meaningful (and, for Democrats, maddening) Supreme Court decision in half a century, and he denounces that co-equal branch of American government as “destabilizing” and decries its “outrageous behavior.”

 

Setting aside the unprecedented nature of a U.S. president attacking the Supreme Court on foreign soil, and setting aside the utter lack of decorum and decency that attends to such an attack, what are deranged leftists to make of Biden’s language? Is it a call to arms from their president? Are there any other would-be assassins out there, or was this sick young man a one-off in a country of 330 million?

 

And where is Attorney General Merrick Garland in all this? Intimidating judges is against the law in this country. And if Joe Biden’s words weren’t meant to intimidate the justices and rile up his Mob, then what exactly was their purpose?

 

A few weeks ago, amid all the picketing in front of the Supreme Court justices’ suburban homes, two concerned governors — Virginia’s Glenn Youngkin and Maryland’s Larry Hogan — sent a letter to Garland to remind him that there are laws against trying to influence or intimidate federal judges by picketing “near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge.”

 

The letter was to no avail. But Biden’s words are even more disgraceful. He’s the president, after all. During fraught times, he’s supposed to be the Consoler-in-Chief, not the Arsonist-in-Chief.

 

Language like this is unlawful because it “endeavors to influence, intimidate, or impede.” This is spelled out in Title 18, Section 1503 of the U.S. Code.

 

As National Review’s Andrew McCarthy wrote about the leftist mobs a few weeks ago: “The threat that protests will corrupt judicial proceedings — causing decisions to be made out of fear rather than faithful application of the law — is too great. Political pressure is for policy debates. It can have no place in judicial proceedings if we are to have the rule of law.”

 

Why does Joe Biden get a pass? What were his words if not “political pressure”? Or, now that the Court has rendered its decision, is it open season on intimidating justices?

 

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said it well:

 

Attacking a core American institution like the Supreme Court from the world stage is below the dignity of the President. Beyond that, President Biden’s attacks on the Court are unmerited and dangerous. He’s upset that the Court said the people, through their elected representatives, will have a say on abortion policy. That does not destabilize democracy — it affirms it. By contrast, it is behavior like the President’s that undermines equal justice and the rule of law.

 

Again: Where is Merrick Garland? And where are the adults in the Democrat Party?

Jared Kushner's interest in Florida real estate and Middle East peace in the last days of 2020 coincided with his own doubts about his father-in-law's insistent claims that he won the election, a new book reveals.

 

Kushner was an influential advisor inside the Trump White House, with he and his wife Ivanka Trump both often cast as using their unpaid roles as as calming influences.

 

But Kushner was notably absent during critical periods in the last days of the Trump White House that included the president's effort to overturn the election – and he was overseas when a mob stormed the Capitol following Trump's appearance at a 'Stop the Steal' rally.

 

On Nov. 5, 2020, within 24 hours of Trump first publicly proclaiming on election Kushner turned to Ivanka and told her, 'We’re moving to Miami, according to the book, The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017-2021, by New York Times reporter Peter Baker and New Yorker reporter Susan Glasser.

 

According to the book, Kushner came up with a two-to-one formula for packaging bad news that had to be delivered to Trump in meetings or calls. He would balance out the bad news with at least two pieces of good news, sources told the authors.

 

But when it came to denying Trump's election defeat, Kushner opted to decamp out of Washington altogether rather than sugar coating the bad news that came in a series of court rulings and certifications by state legislatures.

 

He considered lawyer Rudy Giuliani's involvement in the overturn effort a 'red flag,' according to the book. 'But instead of fighting Mr. Giuliani for Mr. Trump’s attention, Mr. Kushner opted out entirely, deciding it was time to focus on his own future, one that would no longer involve the White House,' the authors write.

 

They ended up buying a $32 million mansion in Miami within weeks of Kushner's pronouncement.

The J6 Show Trial Is Lying About Election ‘Fraud’

 

The January 6 show trial is partly about persecuting political opponents. But it’s also about covering up the truth of the 2020 election.

 

The purpose of the January 6 committee is to further the lie that there was nothing seriously wrong with the 2020 election and to criminalize any questioning of the election. The January 6 riot gives the committee a nice hook, but that’s not what they really care about.

 

They want to prevent you from admitting the election was irregular, faulty, or anything less than the most perfect election in the history of mankind, and from supporting people who fought against those irregularities. In service of this goal, the January 6 committee repeatedly lied about the actual claims Donald Trump supporters have made about the flaws in the election.

 

The January 6 Committee is conducting a show trial, not a criminal one. Show trials, common in authoritarian regimes, are held for propaganda purposes, to punish political opponents, and to cover up the truth of what the regime has done.

 

Democrats’ show trial is completely one-sided. The members on the committee were appointed exclusively by Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. There are zero Republican-appointed members. In fact, Pelosi refused to allow the top Republicans Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy picked for the committee — an unprecedented violation of House rules and norms.

 

No one represents the accused or advocates for their rights. No cross-examination or presentation of a defense has been allowed from the targets of the trial. The committee does not follow House rules on evidence or witness depositions. The so-called investigation has declared off-limits any good-faith inquiry into issues that contradict their persecution, whether a look at what led to the lack of security by Capitol police forces or a look at the legitimate concerns about the unique and novel way the 2020 election was conducted.

 

The show trial is deeply and profoundly un-American. This week’s “surprise” hearing has already imploded under the weight of the inaccurate testimony given by young staff assistant Cassandra Hutchinson. But last Thursday’s episode also deserves scrutiny for the lies it contained.

 

That hearing was focused on Jeffrey Clark, a Department of Justice (DOJ) official during the Trump administration who had proposed more aggressive investigative and legal efforts in the controversial aftermath of the 2020 election than many of his peers. Incidentally, among the growing concerns about a ream of false statements given is a report that Hutchinson also lied about Clark.

A few days ago, Cyprus insisted that the Israeli "Chariots of Fire" exercises on its territory were not aimed against any third party, especially Lebanon and Hezbollah.

 

 

When Lebanon's Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib received Cyprus' ambassador, Panayiotis Kyriacou, to ask for clarifications over the joint military exercises with the Israeli occupation, the Cypriot affirmed that the exercises are aimed at training the border guard to defend the island.

 

 

Cyprus' Foreign Ministry also claimed that the exercises were "based on fictitious scenarios" and "not targeted against any other country in the region."

 

 

However, the Cypriot statements were contrary to the statements issued by the Israeli occupation forces, which pointed out that the maneuvers - which are considered the largest military exercise in the history of the occupation - simulate aggression against Lebanon.

 

 

Israeli media ridiculed Cypriot statements

 

 

The Cypriot's statements were ridiculed by the Israeli media, which considered that the Israeli occupation maneuvers simulate such a war.

 

 

In the same context, the Israeli media accompanied the IOF during maneuvers and pointed out that they simulated a multi-front war with a focus on the Lebanon front, noting that they target Lebanese Resistance group Hezbollah.

 

 

The Israeli quoted a security official as saying that the "Chariots of Fire" exercises in Cyprus took place in built-up, fortified, and overcrowded areas.

 

 

Locals living in the vicinity of the exercises had repeatedly complained of the noise caused by the artillery and military vehicles.

 

 

Anger in Cyprus over Israeli maneuvers

 

 

According to the Israeli website Walla!, Cyprus's main opposition party, Akel, had called the joint military exercises with the Israeli occupation forces "a dangerous development for the country."

 

 

Akel, one of the two major parties on the island, said in a statement that Cyprus "should avoid cooperating with a foreign army with a history of occupation, colonization, war crimes and violation of international laws."

Abstract

 

Despite being an important health problem, there are only supportive care treatments for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. Thus, discovery of specific therapeutic drugs for RSV is still needed. Recently, an antiparasitic drug niclosamide has shown a broad-spectrum antiviral activity. Here, our in vitro model was used to study the antiviral effect of niclosamide on RSV and its related mechanism. Niclosamide inhibited RSV with time and dose-dependent manner. Pretreatment with submicromolar concentration of niclosamide for 6 h presented the highest anti-RSV activity of 94 % (50 % effective concentration; EC50 of 0.022 μM). Niclosamide efficiently blocked infection of laboratory strains and clinical isolates of both RSV-A and RSV-B in a bronchial epithelial cell line. Although a disruption of the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) pathway by niclosamide was previously hypothesized as a mechanism against pH-independent viruses like RSV, using a chemical mTORC1 inhibitor, temsirolimus, and a chemical mTORC1 agonist, MHY1485 (MHY), we show here that the mechanism of RSV inhibition by niclosamide was mTORC1 independent. Indeed, our data indicated that niclosamide hindered RSV infection via proapoptotic activity by a reduction of AKT prosurvival protein, activation of cleaved caspase-3 and PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase), and an early apoptosis induction.

The U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps has amended how it will carry out future Deep State executions, a JAG source told Real Raw News. In the last two years all but two convicted Deep Staters were hanged by the neck until dead, a process JAG now says is tedious, time-consuming, and prone to mishaps. As a result, anyone convicted of capitol crime and sentenced to death will get a bullet to the brain.

 

Our source said JAG made the decision after weighing the cost and man-hours of past hangings against the cost of a few bullets. The practice of hanging a man, he said, involves more than simply stringing him up and flipping a switch. Ahead of each hanging, members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers arrive at GITMO to inspect the gallows, to ensure it functions properly, and remain there until the condemned is pronounced dead. But even their expertise hasn’t prevented mishaps; the execution of pedophile Bill Gates, for example, showed that improper rope measurement causes a prolonged, painful death.

 

Also, some executions were delayed pending the arrival of military brass, and sometimes politicians, who had to fly in from the mainland to witness the event.

 

More influential in JAG’s ruling, perhaps, is what Vice Adm. Darse E. Crandall has called “gallows theatrics.” The interim between sentencing and execution has given flamboyant, grandstanding, unrepentant Deep Staters much time to sharpen their Thespian skills for melodramatic pre-execution productions. “The admiral discussed his concerns with his juniors, and they agreed hangings take too long and are filled with too much theatre. They reached a consensus. From now on the convicted will be executed within 24 hours of sentencing, by gunfire instead of a noose,” our source said.

 

Asked how JAG would screen future firing squads, he shockingly said a “single Marine” would bear the burden of executing the condemned, and a backup would be readily available “just in case.”

 

This is a sharp deviation from historical practice. A firing squad is normally composed of several soldiers, all of whom are instructed to fire simultaneously, thus preventing both disruption of the process by one member and identification of who fired the lethal shot.

 

“Although we’re talking about hardened Marines, psychological screening will take place, and it’s more efficient to briefly screen one or two Marines than seven to ten. Speaking for myself, why use 10 rounds of ammunition if one or two will do the job just as well. It’s not like anyone’s aiming for arms and legs,” our source said.

 

“There’s no written rule specifying the number of men. It can be one, it can be 20,” he added.

 

In closing, he told RRN that prospective candidates will be chosen entirely from a pool of volunteers, of which there are many.

In a statement issued Monday afternoon, conference organizer Detroit Regional Chamber indicated it is aware of at least 15 people who tested positive after attending the conference.

 

Buttigieg joined hundreds of politicians, business leaders, reporters and others at the conference Wednesday on Mackinac Island. He participated in multiple events unmasked, including press conferences and interviews, at times with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

 

"I have tested positive for COVID-19 and am experiencing mild symptoms. I plan to work remotely while isolating according to CDC guidelines, and look forward to when I can safely return to the office and the road," Buttigieg said.

The US and other G7 nations are about to impose restrictions on “hundreds of individuals and entities” as part of its new round of sanctions on Russia, the White House announced on Monday. The measures will target Russia’s military-industrial complex to deprive it of key technologies, it said.

Washington has not named any specific entities or individuals that will face restrictions as part of the new sanctions. It only said it plans to put a total of 500 Russian officials on its blacklist for “exercising illegitimate authority” and committing “human rights abuses.”

 

The G7 nations will also impose restrictions on foreign companies engaged in “backfill activities” and helping Russia evade sanctions.

 

Additional measures announced by Washington include higher tariffs on “on more than 570 groups of Russian products worth approximately $2.3 billion to Russia.” The measures were “carefully calibrated” to hurt the Russian economy and spare America’s, the statement said. Additional revenues obtained through the new tariffs might be used to support Ukraine, the White House said.

 

On Sunday, the US, UK, Canada, and Japan announced an embargo on Russian gold. At the G7 level, the initiative faced resistance from Germany, which said decisions such as this should be made by the EU first.

 

The US and its allies in Europe and elsewhere have already introduced sweeping sanctions on Russia over its military operation in Ukraine, including restrictions targeting the banking and finance sectors, and personal restrictions on officials and businessmen considered to be close to the Kremlin. Russian banks have also been disconnected from the SWIFT system.

I am pleased to present the USAID Office of Inspector General’s Semiannual Report to Congress for the first half of fiscal year

  1. Our mission is to strengthen and safeguard U.S. foreign assistance, and this report summarizes the results and impact of our oversight of USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation

(MCC), the U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF), and the Inter-American Foundation (IAF) from October 1, 2021, through March 31, 2022.

We work across the agencies we oversee and with our oversight partners worldwide to promote effectiveness, efficiency, and

accountability, as well as deter fraud, waste, and abuse. Our 208 performance audits, evaluations, and financial audits this period covered nearly $19.1 billion in funds, generated 162 recommendations for corrective action, and identified $56.1 million in questioned costs. Our investigative work led to $4.1 million in savings and recoveries this period and

6 debarments of entities from receiving Federal awards. We made 11 referrals for prosecution and referred 9 entities for

suspension and debarment consideration. Our staff also presented 80 fraud awareness briefings to 6,325 individuals representing aid organizations, Federal agencies, and international organizations

in 25 countries.

Our work also led to improvements in how agencies plan, award, deliver, and sustain aid and development programs and held individuals and organizations accountable for fraud, abuse, and other misconduct. We collaborated with oversight partners worldwide, sharing best practices and

promoting transparency and integrity in the aid sector. We worked with agency officials, bilateral donors, and multilateral oversight partners to better detect and deter sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), identify and mitigate risk in humanitarian responses, and improve major U.S. global health initiatives and responses to crisis and conflict. Our results this period fall across five

oversight priorities:

• Maintaining oversight of global health programming during a pandemic. We made

recommendations to help USAID increase the use of local partners in the U.S. President’s

Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) while considering the effects of the COVID-19

pandemic. An OIG investigation led USAID to debar two development workers for the theft

of health equipment in Jordan. Our COVID-19 informational brief and related reporting on

overseas contingency operations (OCOs) promoted transparency in agencies’ pandemic

responses. We also continued our participation in multiple interagency task forces and

working groups to further U.S. government oversight of pandemic-related funds, including

joining the Department of Justice’s COVID-19 Fraud Enforcement Task For

You want to create the best experience possible for your users and make sure they’re getting served with ads they actually care about. That can get tricky on mobile devices.

 

Enter the MAID.

 

Mobile Advertising IDs — or MAIDs, for short — are strings of digits assigned to mobile devices. Android assigns them. So does Apple.

 

If you’re into cooking, news apps use them to float food-related content to the top of your feed. Instagram will use them to serve you ads for blenders. Marketers use them similarly, to target their messaging to folks who actually care.

 

MAIDs help make the (people-based marketing) world go round

If you’re running a marketing campaign, you need to know what’s working so you can do more of it. Without a reliable way to track user behavior, there’s no way to know if you’re messaging is sticking, and who it’s sticking to.

 

But with people on so many different devices, and consuming media in so many ways, tracking their behavior over the entire digital landscape can be tricky.

 

If you’re using MAIDs, and match up someone’s mobile habits with their desktop, connected TV, and even their offline habits, you start to see a fuller picture of who they are and how to market to them.

 

This is true “people-based marketing,” and MAIDs are an important building block. Think about it: how often do you use your phone? This is important stuff.

 

There are some things to be aware of

A key to utilizing MAIDs is to have multiple IDs for a given user and to cross-reference it against existing data. You need a partner with a large data pool, to make sure the person you’re seeing… is really the person you’re seeing.

 

Don’t forget about privacy. We’ve talked a lot about the need for app developers, publications, and marketers to be honest with people about how they use their data. This extends to mobile IDs. There are no uniform regulations around how marketers use mobile user IDs (there should be), but here’s a tip: be transparent.

 

If you’re using MAIDs to better understand user behavior or to target advertising to people, be honest about it. Include it in your terms of service if you’re an app developer or news website. Do the same if you’re a marketer. Offer people plenty of opportunities to opt in or opt out of how you use their data. With laws like GDPR already in place and California’s privacy law soon to be enacted, being less than 100 percent honest with people about how you use their data is no longer an option (and really, it never was).

 

A valuable tool in the kit

You need to know what people are looking at your ads, even if they’re using different devices. The days of people only seeing your message from a single screen are over (and have been over for, I don’t know, decades?)

 

You need to know who someone is, and then resolve their identity across multiple devices. If you have MAIDs, and can then link that MAID to other identifiers across devices, you get a full picture of who someone is and what they want.

 

At that point, you’re no longer marketing to devices. You’re marketing to people.

RT had me on yesterday to discuss Ukraine's kill list & my entry on it.

 

I highlighted Canada's cozy relationship with Ukraine, including with the Nazi battalions, Chrystia Freeland's Nazi-collaborating grandpa , and why I feel safer living in Russia than I would were I back in Canada where Ukrainian nationalists & Nazi supporters run rampant and could easily harm or kill me.

 

I also spoke of how while independent Canadian media reached out to me for an interview, concerned about the kill list entry & my safety, Canadian state-funded media, CBC, reached out to me to attempt to set me up for an interview for what I assume is their pending smear piece on me–and that the CBC journalist's email to me made zero mention of Ukraine's kill list, but what he did mention (my participation in a tribunal on Ukraine's war crimes) could only have come from him reading my entry on Ukraine's kill list as that tribunal was not widely publicized in English or by myself, but is on my kill list entry. Thus he & CBC prioritize pushing war propaganda over addressing Ukraine's kill list which threatens the life of a Canadian journalist.

Assange Put on Suicide Watch After Patel Decision, Father Says

 

John Shipton said Julian Assange was stripped naked and put in an empty cell to prevent him from killing himself over the home secretary’s decision to sign his extradition order, Joe Lauria reports.

 

After British Home Secretary Priti Patel signed Julian Assange’s extradition order on Friday the authorities in Belmarsh prison stripped Julian Assange and threw him into a completely empty cell in an attempt to prevent his suicide, Assange’s father has said.

 

It was just one more instance in which the prison humiliated his son, Shipton told a rally on Tuesday night at the offices of the junge Welt newspaper in Berlin. About 300 people attended, with an overflow crowd watching on close circuit TV in the courtyard.

 

Testimony was heard from expert defense witnesses during Assange’s extradition hearing that he might try to end his life in prison once he learned he was going to the United States.

 

It is not the end of the road for Assange legally, however. His lawyers have until July 1 to file for an appeal of Patel’s decision to the High Court. They also intend to apply for a cross appeal of issues such as the political nature of the charges, the threat to free speech and the reported C.I.A. plot to kidnap or kill Assange before his arrest.

 

Shipton and Gabriel Shipton, Assange’s brother, are in Berlin to lobby the German government to put pressure on the United States to drop the case against Assange.

 

On Monday, the Shiptons met with Tobias Lindner, the minister of state, at the German foreign ministry. “It was a practical and appropriate step for Tobias to take, to welcome Julian Assange’s father and bother into the foreign ministry,” John Shipton said. “The invitation in itself and the meeting in the foreign ministry indicates that the German government is sincere in bringing about the freedom of Julian Assange.”

 

But Shipton said he would like to hear a public statement from Germany in support of his son. “We’d like Tobias to confirm what he’s said.”

 

A German government spokesman on Monday said however that Germany was unlikely to intervene with either the U.K. or the U.S. “This is a legal process that is already in motion, so I would be a little wary of political intervention,” he said, the French Press Agency (AFP) reported.

The military bloc wants Ukraine’s President Zelensky to continue the conflict with Russia, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo explained

 

Fighting against Russia with Western help is the only way forward for Ukraine, NATO members have told President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to Belgian prime minister Alexander De Croo.

 

“We make it very clear that this war can only be won on the battlefield and we should continue to support President Zelensky and the Ukrainian population as much as possible to be able to win the war on the battlefield,” he told journalists on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Madrid, on Wednesday.

 

He said he had the chance to personally interact with and encourage Zelensky and pointed out that his country was among the first to offer military support to Kiev and will continue sending arms to Kiev, he assured.

 

“NATO support in the broad sense has been there from the start, and will continue to be there,” he added.

 

NATO members have been training Ukrainian troops since the 2014 armed coup in Kiev. When Russia launched its offensive against Ukraine more than four months ago, it cited the military bloc’s eastward expansion as a key reason. Moscow perceives NATO as a hostile organization and a threat to its national security.

 

The Belgian prime minister also said that Ukraine was given a strong gesture of support by the EU, when it was offered candidate status last week. He said Brussels additionally sent “a very important message” about EU enlargement to Moldova, which also became a candidate.

 

“Some people will say: ‘Well, it’s symbolic’. But symbolic messages are extremely important today,” De Croo said, referring to the fact that EU nations expect neither Ukraine nor Moldova to join them as fully-fledged members anytime soon.

 

The Belgian PM praised the ongoing NATO summit as a success, due to Turkey lifting its objections to Sweden and Finland joining the alliance, which was announced on Tuesday.

 

Russia sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, citing Kiev’s failure to implement the Minsk agreements, designed to give the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk special status within the Ukrainian state. The protocols, brokered by Germany and France, were first signed in 2014. Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has since admitted that Kiev’s main goal was to use the ceasefire to buy time and “create powerful armed forces.”

On Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told the Solovyov Live show, when asked about the two captured US veterans in specific, “I do not have such information, and I have been checking it every day. I will check it today as well. We disclose to the public all information about the fate of arrested mercenaries or those on trial… I want to reiterate that I will double-check whether there is any additional information on this issue.”

Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported on March 6 that 3,000 US "volunteers" were to arrive in Ukraine, amid Russia's ongoing military operation in the country.

 

 

The agency quoted the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ press service via Telegram as saying that "the volunteers are ready to repel Russia as part of an international battalion."

 

 

Among the US volunteers are army veterans "with combat experience gained in Iraq and other hotspots around the world," the agency reported.

Voicemail indicates Joe Biden knew of Hunter deals with ‘spy chief of China’

 

Joe Biden called his son Hunter in late 2018 to discuss a New York Times article detailing the younger Biden’s dealings with a Chinese oil tycoon accused of economic crimes – telling him, “I think you’re clear,” according to a report Monday.

 

The voicemail, discovered on a cell phone backup contained on Hunter Biden’s infamous discarded laptop, would appear to contradict President Biden’s continued denial that he ever talked with his disgraced 52-year-old son about his overseas business transactions — and was aware they could be improper.

 

“Hey pal, it’s Dad,” Joe Biden said, the Daily Mail reported. “It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you.”

 

Biden then made his intentions clear.

 

“I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good,” Biden continued. “I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you.”

 

During a campaign appearance in Iowa in September 2019, Joe Biden said, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.” His former press secretary, Jen Psaki, and his chief of staff, Ron Klain, have both repeatedly echoed that sentiment.

 

The unearthed voice message renewed calls for a probe of the now-president’s handling and knowledge of his son’s overseas dealings.

 

“Joe Biden said he ‘never spoke’ with Hunter about his business dealings. That is simply not true. We need to know what Joe Biden knew and when he knew it,” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), the No. 3 Republican in the House of Representatives, told The Post Monday.

 

“This voicemail is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the evidence mounting against the Biden Crime Family. When Republicans take back Congress, we will use our Congressional power of oversight to uncover the truth for every American as a matter of national security.”

 

The Biden voicemail followed a Times report on Dec. 12, 2018, detailing Hunter’s dealings with Ye Jianming, a “fast-rising” Chinese oil tycoon who headed CEFC China Energy Company in 2016 before being arrested two years later amid allegations of economic crimes.

Special Counsel John Durham revealed he has unearthed a text message showing Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann falsely told the FBI he was not working on behalf of any client when he delivered anti-Trump research.

 

pecial Counsel John Durham is revealing new smoking gun evidence, a text message that shows a Clinton campaign lawyer lied to the FBI, while putting the courts on notice he is prepared to show the effort to smear Donald Trump with now-disproven Russia collusion allegations was a "conspiracy."

 

In a bombshell court filing late Monday night, Durham for the first time suggested Hillary Clinton's campaign, her researchers and others formed a "joint venture or conspiracy" for the purpose of weaving the collusion story to harm Trump's election chances and then the start of his presidency.

 

"These parties acted as 'joint venturer[s]' and therefore should be 'considered as co-conspirator[s],'" he wrote.

 

Durham also revealed he has unearthed a text message showing Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann falsely told the FBI he was not working on behalf of any client when he delivered now-discredited anti-Trump research in the lead-up to the 2016 election. In fact, he was working for the Clinton campaign and another client, prosecutors say.

 

The existence of the text message between Sussmann and then-FBI General Counsel James Baker was revealed in a court filing late Monday night by Durham's team. Prosecutors said they intend to show Sussmann gave a false story to the FBI but then told the truth about working on behalf of the Clinton campaign when he later testified to Congress.

 

"Jim – it's Michael Sussmann. I have something time-sensitive (and sensitive) I need to discuss," Sussmann texted Baker on Sept. 18, 2016, according to the new court filing. "Do you have availability for a short meeting tomorrow? I'm coming on my own – not on behalf of a client or company – want to help the Bureau. Thanks."

 

Prosecutors said the text message will become essential evidence at trial to show Sussmann lied to the FBI.

Protests were organized in many Spanish towns and in Rabat late Friday in response to the deaths of 23 African migrants attempting to enter the Spanish enclave of Melilla in northern Morocco.

 

The United Nations condemned "excessive force" by police on the Moroccan-Spanish border and urged an inquiry into the deaths of the migrants who crossed the border.

 

Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Barcelona, Malaga, Vigo, and San Sebastian, as well as Melilla, to condemn migration policy and "border militarization".

 

A few dozen Moroccans from the Collective of Sub-Saharan Communities in Morocco and aid organizations demonstrated in front of parliament in Rabat, calling on Rabat to "stop playing the role of EU policeman."

 

Mamadou Diallo, an activist, told AFP, "We demand an end to the migration policy funded by the European Union, the opening of an independent investigation and the return of the bodies to the families."

 

"The Europeans colonised us and took everything from us to develop. Today, if we go to them, it means that we have the right to leave," he added.

 

Moroccan prosecutors have filed charges against 65 migrants, predominantly Sudanese, suspected of taking part in a large effort to enter Melilla from Morocco a week ago.

 

Renzo Rupay, expressed shock at the images he saw of the border, saying, "I too am a migrant, arrived with a child's travel papers. Not everyone has the possibility of arriving legally in Spain."

 

Eva Ruiz, a 24-year-old said, "It's not normal that so many people die. We're talking about human lives, people fleeing war and we kill them at the border."

 

The deceased perished "in jostling and falling" from the top of the metal gate that separates Morocco from Melilla following an effort to breach the border "marked by the use of very violent methods on the part of migrants," Rabat claimed.

 

From the Moroccan city of Nador toward Melilla, 133 migrants tried to cross the border in the first such mass crossing since the diplomatic relationships between the two countries since they mended diplomatic relations last month.

 

According to Human Rights Watch, photographs rapidly emerged showing that what the Moroccan authorities dubbed as a "stampede" actually showed "bodies strewn on the ground in pools of blood, Moroccan security forces kicking and beating people, and Spanish Guardia Civil launching teargas at men clinging to fences."
